    Nice review!! Im a Toyota/Honda man beacuse they have been super realiable for me. Im talking like 230k miles on my honda engine and still going strong!!!! I dont believe these little trax engines will be reliable like that but i still bought a 2024 activ trax for my wife lol. Honestly if the trax makes it to 100k miles with no huge expensive repairs all be happy. I worry about the turbo going out and taking the engine out with it then be screwed. The 2024 trax sure does look cool and come with some nice features for the price tho.. guess time will tell the story of reliability on the trax. I talked to a friend who works at chevy and supposedly chevy really tried to get the new trax to be much more realiable and longer lasting turbos then the older trax models.

    I’m glad you like your car.
    We just bought a Mazda CX 5 S Select AWD. It’s an awesome car and extremely reliable.
    Never drove the Chevy, but I have to say it’s nice looking and reasonably equipped for the price.

    Great review! Just bought my 2024 Trax LS Sterling Gray (entry level) on February 14. At a price of 21,495.00, i have no complaints. With 336 miles, a smooth quiet ride everyday. "Not a race car." But stylish, roomy, with so many standard features. Same 3 cylinder engine that the Trailblazers been using for years. Just the kind of vehicle "everyone needs" for just getting around town. This vehicle is a "hit" here in Miami, Florida. From what im hearing, dealers all over the country have so many people on "waiting lists." Pratical Car Of The Year!

    We just got our LT a day ago. I got 33 mpg going 70-75 for the 5 hour drive home from the dealership. We decided on the LT for the same reason as you- LED DRL and electronic gauges and larger touchscreen.

    Great honest review man! Honestly, the new trax is A LOT better than the older one no question about it and for the price well worth it! Definitely would recommend it I test drove the trax last summer while it wasn’t bad personally just wasn’t feeling it got to many hatchback vibes so decided to go with a 2024 trailblazer

      I think that the amount of gasoline saved with the auto stop is minuscule. I also wonder about the shortened life of the starter. While I’m as environmental as anyone I don’t see this as a huge win for the planet. If you are that concerned ride a bicycle or walk.

    I have this exact model with just aboit 3,000 miles. So far, so good. I leased it. $1,000 down and $249.78 per month. The only thing i don't like is that you have to buy the monthly data plan to use Andriod Auto. Otherwise you can plug your phone with the USB port and get a lesser use of it. I had a 2021 Trailblazer, same engine. The turbo charger went with 8,300 miles on it. Without warranty that would be over $1,500. Great to lease, i wouldn't buy a 3 cylinder.

    I've wanted to ask a real owner of one of these - first off great price point, great look for a Chevy product, etc. However, what compelled you to ultimately purchase this over something else if not price point? What is your level of expectation for how long it will last?

    • @datboifixit1995
      @datboifixit1995  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      We decided on this because it was stylish, and of course the price point is a great reason. I was concerned about the engine considering there isn't much history of reliability, but in my opinion toyotas and Hondas are overpriced for the options you get (we once bought a brand new 21 Rav4) and I definitely do not want a Kia or hyundai, this seemed like a good middle ground for all of our expectations and looks really good!
