So wonderful and relaxing to see these again. I love how real and relaxed and easy these episodes are. They’re not hurried or focused on competing or nutrition. It’s just honest home cooking by a sweet lady who fed her family and others the best she could. Simple and delicious! Thank you!
Her beloved Lab, Gerty, was PARKED under her feet during this entire episode- you can tell by the way she works around the stove top, never stepping up close. If I had a dime for every time my Labrador was in my way in the kitchen, I'd be a MILLIONAIRE😄. I've always enjoyed seeing her dogs in the kitchen with her❤️. Paula taught me ALL of my favorite recipes and I LOVE watching these classic shows from way back when I was learning how to REALLY cook! God bless you, Paula!
I'm making those muffins tomorrow to surprise my neice's husband who is coming over to do some work at my house. He'll be happy to have a warm muffin for a reward. I have found making bread and all the work involved just more than I can handle. Thanks Paula for a great recipe. Miss you.
I miss watching Paula with my mom after school or during the holidays. We ate at her restaurant in pigeon forge last year & it took me right back to my childhood. We’d always watch together!
I missed you so much! So glad I found you again on TH-cam! I have had my own health issues, can't work or so they think! I am going to open my own TH-cam channel, mostly stories, recipes for my grandchildren, my hearts desire to homestead. Wish me luck! Love you!
Paula's story really is amazing. How many of us would have the humility to make food and peddle it business to business or parking lot? She believed in herself and forged forth.
Yes, another wonderful day with Paula. And what great recipes to make for lunch but when you want a light summer dinner. How easy were the biscuits to make. In fact, all recipes were easy to make. Always loved her quick tips. Miss you, Paula.💕💕
@@71flygirl Paula is so unique and she is just warm and fuzzy...her house and kitchen are cozy and the kind of place I'd love to go and just sit and smell the aromatic cooking. She is a character and Food Network screwed up letting her go .....I won't elaborate further...three words: we miss you.

I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of that muffin recipe over the years. I’ve added some cheddar and herbs and garlic, I’ve done some with lemon blueberry and sugar. It’s magical and easy ♥️. My older kids grew up watching “grandma Paula”

God Bless you Paula Deen! Thank you for your recipes, time, wisdom and love. You are amazing and to keep pushing through what has been done to you.......... Inspiration.
Thank you for that flavorful trip back to the Bag Lady days. I was so excited to find you on TH-cam! I use to watch your cooking show every day. I know you're very busy, but I would be so appreciate any recipe suggestions you could offer me regarding what to pack for lunch for 3 different days-for a convention I'll be attending in August. With no access to microwaves. I have been searching for easy, economical recipes that aren't too boring. I know I'll more than likely, be stuck with taking sandwiches everyday, but do you have any suggestions?
I'm not Paula Deen, but if you have a refrigerator, pasta salad travels well. Penne or spiral with shrimp or chunks of chicken breast for your protein & lots of chopped veggies like broccoli & zucchini.
I love seeing Paula's orginal shows on here. I would watch them faithfully and then I would watch all the reruns. I love you Paula you will always be my favorite!💚💚
Hi, Paula, I'm a single dad 54 years old. I adopted two kids 3 years ago. I don't have any money I'm living paycheck-to-paycheck I work as a waiter in a restaurant. I'm wanting to start a business. I've been working in the service industry for 25 years and I know my passion is in the service industry. I want to own a restaurant that was thinking about a food truck but like I said I don't know how to go about doing that or even starting it out of my home but I want to leave something for my son's they deserve that much.
She was a very early victim of what later became "cancel culture." It is basically a mob of people who harass and complain about you until you get "cancelled." It is a really sad thing. We all make mistakes and forgiveness is the right approach, not hate.
I'd still watch her shows. I did stop after her scandal, but not too many haven't used that word at some point. She reminds me of women (who happened to be White!) in my childhood who were good home cooks. The only recipe she made I really couldn't stand the thought of was the tangerine cake- all that sugar and butter.

As a parent of a diabetic, I know that just cooking food for others to enjoy or just tasting a little bit of food, as you're cooking, isn't going to hurt you. Diabetics can even enjoy alcohol, as long as they monitor their glucose levels.

I bet those sour cream muffins are delicious!
Are these the sour cream muffins from Bubbles? I had thought she used soften butter and not melted butter. Does it make a difference?
This one is my favorite episode lol too bad the audio is slightly off-sync
Those recipes are delicious
Sync was off but still good message
My favorite dessert strawberry rhubarb pie Grandma Helen Fisher
My favorite spaghetti sauce Sunday dinner Grandma Aremina

That is a southwest Georgia accent. They all talk through their nose.
