@@ThewOrldIssqUare Final Fantasy 14 is mainly about memorization since things happen in an order. So don't be spooked about trying these fights because if you try the mechanics enough times they become muscle memory :3
I wish any raid groups nowadays would run this strat, it seems theres some new MITH strat that everyone obssessed over but I can't find any video guides on it and this guide just makes that strat seem like it's 1000% more difficult.
For Rejuvernating Balm it's so much easier to spread or stack at the edge of the arena instead of running inside and then spread or stack. You should try that ^^
10:40 why would you not split the party in each safe area based on what side they need to be for the next mechanic so people aren't sprinting across the room and clipping everyone?
@@georgewashington7982 Well I think it probably does work but as shown in the video is easily fucked up instead of what I said which would probably be way easier.
@@Slysoft_ lol it’s so much easier to have 2 light parties Dodge cleave, melee go in and spread, or melee go in and stack And for range, they spread in the safe spot, stack in safe spot

My raid personally found the MIth (i think that is how it is spelt) strat for bramble. AKA KB to the cardinals on the edge instead of the inter-cardinals. So then we won't have to always walk around the brambles if they were in the intercardinals. The way is clear!
Question. Do the deluge of darkness raid wide attacks get stronger throughout the raid, requiring more extensive mitigation? When we hit platforms, my team just essentially got nuked by it. One player says no clouds got through by saying the boss did not have an attack up buff. I am not so sure because as a dragoon with nearly 130k hp. getting one shot feels like healers wouldn't stand a chance at surviving, or whichever the squishiest class is. Even with mitigation. Team wasn't communicating so i didn't see a cloud get through, and no one admitted it, but to survive attacks from it and then to suddenly not feels off to me. At the same time you can see in this video they would survive it without mitigation if you run the numbers.
People saying that Dps go North or west at brambles and healers and tanks south and Southwest... I personally find braindead just to think that DPS start at her face and healers and tanks at her butt. I call it the Face Butt mechanic. Haven't failed once that mechanic with this unlike people who follow the messy cardinal mechanic.
I kinda hoped the video had an example chart of the summon mechanic. I know that the boss herself cleaves half of the stage, but the issue for me personally is looking around to see where the adds are, and then finding out which direction they're cleaving as well.
Thank you for what you do! I'll never do these because absolutely NOT, but I appreciate the work you put in to educate the masses who will attempt these.
Boss does a one-sided AoD and the 2 clones cleave the same side (Boss does left side = they do THEIR left side). They're positioned so they only leave a pizza slice of the arena safe. There's a stricter method on how to pinpoint the safe spot, but I always do it like this: Position yourself so the boss faces you, determine which side she casts AoD on and remember that side as lethal, now look at her first clone and move into that ones safe side (without going into the side previously established as lethal) and then do the same for the second clone. If you think you're standing right, take a look at all three again and make sure you're standing on the safe side for every one of them (I sometimes stand more in the middle of one of them and have to adjust a step or two, don't panic you got plenty time for this).
there is an easier way of handling those plants. 2 tanks at A, 2 healers at B, 2 DPS at C and 2 DPS at D standing left or right of the letter. get knocked back to the edge of the platform plants spawn then tanks and healers go to 1 and DPS go to 3 when tethers spawn all groups move opposite each other in order to break the vines once broken move to safe spots accordingly plenty of time to do all this
She doesnt always tether to the E/W towers, if she tethers to the other ones, then the dps on the far side will still have to move. Having extra positions to remember isnt great either.
This is Mith strat, you'd be moving diagonally in this example so which towers she tethers to doesn't matter, it'll just be a 45 degree rotation CW or CCW. I prefer this strat because it keeps the brambles out of the middle of the stage making movement significantly easier for the rest of phase
Lol tried party finder for this and it didn't work out an not nearly enough of my clan members are high enough probably gonna have to wait a while, before I can actually do it. Till then ill just be watching the encounters and memorizing the mechanics
