not worth it I just finnished this piece of shit. This game is a boring walking simulator with some platforming sections ["platforming" basicaly boiling down to jumping from one rock onto an another rock] in a terrain which can most accurately be described as "my first time with unity". I've seen joke games that had better graphics than this. The so called "plot" is unoriginal and ridiculous and the only thing that is actually quite not bad in this game is the music but even that doesn't cover the entire 6 hours of the game so it often repeats. For free I can accept it as a shitty game made by one guy but those guys normally charge you fucking 20$ for this turd of a game It's like spitting in your face.
if that game had triple-A game Resources it will fall right in the top 50 games of history and won a game of the year award, the story itself is so interesting and could be made into a large lore
I played through the game and thought it was incredible. You are right when sayings its great because of the storyline, atmosphere and music. It would have been better if there were more immserive gameplay structures such as when the rocks would fall or the towers would fall. I also liked how you would see snippets of the lady you were chasing such as when she is tightroping on the powerline. Overall i loved it!
I like the story and scenery. I hate the game mechanics. I would have enjoyed it if it relied less on precision parkour(I wasted my time on flowers that had fingers folded slipping me down), and more on time-sensitive missions, more method of transportation (Russian Rovers?), few mobile enemies, and probably make RCS thrusters and oxygen limited with checkpoints having replenishment spots.
It's free on epic games rn, I played about 150 minutes of it and I couldn't manage it. It was the most boring, janky controlled, tedious game I have EVER played, and just went you think it starts to get good or interesting, it just rips it from you. The ONLY thing going for this game is the slightly interesting art style. If you like Browns, Tans, and Greys mixed with mindless running at a snails pace, this game if for you!
I've played it 1 hour trying to go out of the map, I have no idea on what to do; btw I've discovered that if you press 9 you can go back to that point pressing \ and reset that point with 0 (then press again 9 etc etc)
I looked at some reviews for this game online but seemed to find out that the critics really sort of hated it. However, I think it's superb. The story is great and is enough to out way the faulty graphics. This game just makes me think about a lot of things in general.
Just bought PC version from Game for £5. Didn't know anything about it but wanted a more thinking type game than mindless zapping and destroying everything. Really surprised on how good it is and am thankful there are programmers out there producing high quality visually stunning games.
I will be pretty honest, I don't know what kind of level design this man is talking about, the game most of the times is just too empty and straight. If there wasn't that music on the background it would become totally unplayable. Just imagine RDR2 but without those beautiful surroundings, it is just even boring to look at. The controls are not bad but they are not smooth at all. Even roblox has better controls. I have played for an hour and can't play it anymore. I would rate it as 5/10. (I am not hating this game but telling you that it is pretty boring and that you should not waste your time on it. Graphics are ok considering it is a one person made game but the level design is meh and storytelling is too slow)
I've had my eye on this for some time but haven't gotten around to buying it yet. Yet! Your review echoed my own initial perceptions of the gameplay, it looks a bit "Dear Esther" which, for it's incredibly short timespan is still a game that persists in memory even though I've only played it once and that was just after the landmark edition was released. It's one game I'd love to try in VR. Thanks 👍
Limited Run Games is putting some physical PS4 copies up for sale tomorrow. Does it have a Journey vibe? I'm so on the fench with this, I want another experience like Journey and Abzu is dirt cheap right now. Between the Abzu and Lifeless Planet, for a Journey-like game, which should I go for?
A very atmospheric game, from the point of view of immersion in the character's world ... It seems that you are standing on Earth, but this is not her ... You see the light, but this is not the Sun ... You cannot see anyone, and you cannot hear anyone. .. Who can tell you that this is reality? And yes, I played this game five years ago, thanks to the author! But maybe I'm still on this planet ... On this Lifeless Planet ... Maybe I am this character? ...
What's more frustrating than the jetpacking to tiny landing targets? Trying to push anything at all. It doesn't make sense. That being said it has less polish than say KyRtZero, but it's more enjoyable because it's actually a game.
Just finished it and ugh, brrrother... This was such a drag, the terrain gave me a headache and the little thing Witcher players don't like about the walking, yup, it's here and it is fricking frustrating! The story was very intriguing at the beginning, but damn did it go 180 into complete nonsensical BS. The whole design and story was clearly getting worse, level by level. The buildings at the end (Which I'll not spoil) and the whole aesthetic of the level, pre-ending was a rushed mess. Conclusion: Started off with a strong premise and ended as a MAJOR disappointment.
It's very easy to accidentally start a new game at the main menu and completely wipe out your progress. I was about an hour in when this happened. Uninstalled it right after.
i have played the game and download it because it was free on epic and it leaves me with nauseous feeling by playing it longer its not that bad but still enough for me not to regret to uninstall it. . felt like playing a incomplete indie game the physics was way off it did not fell like playing in real world interaction the controls are a bit felt like off but can be manageable but the thing is its like playing the game like on beta stage i dont regret uninstalling it on my pc.. it was like playing death stranding prototype version then give you vomit inducing experience i cant complain more because its for free in epic games but the game gives me really playing incomplete production then mass produced it. the idea sound fine because it give you a melancholic vibe story but the game play brings it down the drain.. see im talking in cirles because i am upset i am expecting it to be nice but it fails my expectation.
this might be the best game i have ever played so far...i mean the story is was awesome, there are no life bars, no numbers, no monster to kill, i did not think there was a game that i would like to play that has nothing to kill or something to beat. best game i played since mass effect 3. Most games interest me for a little bit then i get bored start rushing through to the end.
I just bought the game and played it in a single go... din eat nor go to the bathroom..... man this just shows how sad games have become these days.......... this game is awesome but it and prepare to be engulfed in a different environment....... play with lights off.....
It's a shame the game's mechanics are a little edgy, for me personally if that's the case, no matter how good the story is, I will likely give up due to poor mechanics. Regardless, nice review, may end up picking it up some time... Perhaps a Steam sale maybe :P
Don't really want to watch due to the explanation of the world and such, was just wondering how many hours this game clock in at for the first play through. :) Thanks
its pretty cool but the platforming is horrible and if you mess up eventually you will probably just quit instead of slowly walk up a cliff again to do the poorly controlled platforming where you glide around the ground like your a freaking bumper car. everything else is awesome tho but didnt finish
wft, all the talk about story and atmosphere and shit, all i see is a crappy silent game with nothing happening, just jumping around and running with no enemies of challenges whatsoever?

just finished on xbox one. Very rarely do i read while playing a game but this one had me doing so. Happy with my purchase for sure.
This was made by ONE person.
No Man's Sky was made by 14.
This is better...
LOL :) True.
You're mad if you think this junk is better than No Man's Sky.
