As you always said, Kenan: animals are unpredictable. Even with how vigilant and on-task you always are, things can still happen. And i'm glad you document these things, because it's REALISTIC. Being an animal carer is no easy feat, and I think it's only a good thing that you show people how much responsibility it takes. These are not animals to just have on a whim. Even a seasoned professional like yourself has to deal with disaster on occasion. It's a forever learning curve, and you do a fantastic job. Please don't be angry with yourself, this is just another lesson that you've learned and can share with nearly 1 million people. So glad Guapo and the other little guy are okay

I absolutely did NOT see that twist!!! Lola was framed!! She's innocent! Seriously tho, Kenan please don't be too hard on yourself. You go above and beyond for your animals ... this wasn't your fault! You have to keep the balance between your two legged family and your four legged/no legged family and that isn't easy, but you do it! Accidents happen...thank God this wasn't worse. O dear...petro is luckily not that wounded and luckily Lola is out of the doghouse. She must have feeling pretty scared. And luckily he protected his girl against petro... such a good boy. @@jebVlogs556 it wasn’t Lola that attacked Guapo.. somehow the door between Petro/Petra’s n Guapo/Lola’s part of the enclosures was opened n the huge fight was between Guapo n Petro… After Kenan patched Guapo up towards the end of the video he went to double check Lola n he found Petro out flat on the floor in Guapo n Lola’s side… he has a huge gash down the side of him so got off with a lot less damage than Guapo did… xxxxx

What a massiv good video.. no cuts all as real as possible. I can feel the unease and panic... I am still at the beginning... I edit again at the end. Glad you caught it,don't beat yourself up you could be home and same thing happen . It's fixed they should get better , live and learn is all you can do. I have a young male lewisi because of you and a few others , watching helps to learn mostly what to do right but sometimes bad things happen and knowing how to fix them is key.❤

I read the thumbnail about two days ago,but after King Kevin (Chandler) and poor liccle Archer (Bellowing Acres) dying,I didn't want to put myself through the tragedy of Guapo.I absolutely adore Guapo and am so pleased that he's probably 🤞 going to be OK.Phew !I have to inject myself 4 times a day,but can't imagine the strength needed to inject through iguana skin ! You did good kennan it was obvious you were shaken and horrified by what you were faced with, you did amazing in that situation and got right to work helping your animals as best you can in a situation like that well done your brave and thanks for sharing this with us sadly it does happen sometimes and you did well under so much stress ❤
Man I know ur pain, I had rescued a male sugar glider that had a broken hip. He was used as a breeder and I talked the owner into selling him to me. This lil boy was so sweet and friendly I didn't want him to be alone so I slowly introduced him to a female glider I had. He was so interested in her but she wasn't having it, well long story short she bit his hand and days later his hand was 3x it's normal size. He developed an infection and unfortunately passed from it, I felt so horrible 😔 u really do have to keep an eye on females when trying to introduce them to a mate.

With any creature under our care, we always have to be vigilant cuz they do a lot of crazy/mischievous/ dumb things! Don't feel guilty, Kenan! I got home from work the other day to my mom freaked out because she went to shut my agama's lights off for the night and she couldn't find him. Turns out he'd crawled behind his rock wall background because he found a seam. I've only had him a little over a week, and thought I'd somehow messed up and left his lid cracked open. They seem to figure out how to freak you out in many ways. Glad that we found him, but for a good 20 minutes it was a frantic search
@ he’s a painted agama. He’s very much chilled out now and doesn’t try to get behind things or escape. Still can’t pick him up or touch him for more than a few seconds though because he apparently doesn’t like like it much, he does a little dance, but has never once tried to bite me, so he’s still a good boy
@ yeah I like him a lot he’s a cute little guy. I originally went to the show looking for a Peter’s rock agama, but all they had was painted, and when I saw him I couldn’t resist

I know what you mean about the feelings you have after you’ve had animals stolen. I had a 5 year old pit bull stolen from me a few years ago! I got him back 2 months later and he passed 2 weeks after I got him back from a heart attack. Now I have cameras everywhere and a very expensive security system. I still have ptsd and if I leave my dogs in the yard I can’t enjoy going places because I am always worried about my pups! I hope all your animals have a full speedy recovery!

can you use capstar on reptiles? i know its usually used during fly strike when its extreme with mammals? but its the only hope with them i wonder if it would also do the same thing i imagine it would in to e injested not topically applied and stops all the larva etc in the skin in their tracks
its used commonly on abandoned or orphaned babies and works with no side effects other than improvment so i wonder, seems to e relitively safe and we all know how delicate baby mamals are and were talk new born to a month or less and ive never heard of any bad reactions deaths or overdoses or anything so might be something you could look up. if it does work im sure it would e wuite handy forthe future also, blue-cote is also key or silver spray

Poor boy😢 his eye looks injured too, it looks red in the corner. The lizards do act up getting a bit crazy during summer. Even my usually very chill tegu girl is getting feisty in her own tank, cause she saw her neighbour from across the room🥹 normally she doesn’t even care and suddenly she’s not ok with it but fortunately all she did was arch her back and wiggle her tail. She calmed down once I started talking to her, at least she wasn’t feisty with me lolll

Glad you caught it,don't beat yourself up you could be home and same thing happen . It's fixed they should get better , live and learn is all you can do. I have a young male lewisi because of you and a few others , watching helps to learn mostly what to do right but sometimes bad things happen and knowing how to fix them is key.❤
We can only do our best when it come to having pets. When we've done our best and things happen, just know our best is all we can do and learn from the experiences. You did amazing all by your self. I read the thumbnail about two days ago,but after King Kevin (Chandler) and poor liccle Archer (Bellowing Acres) dying,I didn't want to put myself through the tragedy of Guapo.I absolutely adore Guapo and am so pleased that he's probably 🤞 going to be OK.Phew !I have to inject myself 4 times a day,but can't imagine the strength needed to inject through iguana skin ! You did good kennan it was obvious you were shaken and horrified by what you were faced with, you did amazing in that situation and got right to work helping your animals as best you can in a situation like that well done your brave and thanks for sharing this with us sadly it does happen sometimes and you did well under so much stress ❤
Man I know ur pain, I had rescued a male sugar glider that had a broken hip. He was used as a breeder and I talked the owner into selling him to me. This lil boy was so sweet and friendly I didn't want him to be alone so I slowly introduced him to a female glider I had. He was so interested in her but she wasn't having it, well long story short she bit his hand and days later his hand was 3x it's normal size. He developed an infection and unfortunately passed from it, I felt so horrible 😔 u really do have to keep an eye on females when trying to introduce them to a mate.

Crap happens no matter what, don't beat yourself up too much. If you didn't get good sleep because you stayed late checking on them, you'd make more mistakes due to fatigue. You did a great job, all alone AND you filmed it ❤❤ 👏 👏 👏

I got home from work the other day to my mom freaked out because she went to shut my agama's lights off for the night and she couldn't find him. Turns out he'd crawled behind his rock wall background because he found a seam. I've only had him a little over a week, and thought I'd somehow messed up and left his lid cracked open. They seem to figure out how to freak you out in many ways. Glad that we found him, but for a good 20 minutes it was a frantic search
Always expect the unexpected with them. If there is a compromise in there environment, they will find it!
What kind of agama do you have?
@ he’s a painted agama. He’s very much chilled out now and doesn’t try to get behind things or escape. Still can’t pick him up or touch him for more than a few seconds though because he apparently doesn’t like like it much, he does a little dance, but has never once tried to bite me, so he’s still a good boy

I know what you mean about the feelings you have after you’ve had animals stolen. I had a 5 year old pit bull stolen from me a few years ago! I got him back 2 months later and he passed 2 weeks after I got him back from a heart attack. Now I have cameras everywhere and a very expensive security system. I still have ptsd and if I leave my dogs in the yard I can’t enjoy going places because I am always worried about my pups! I hope all your animals have a full speedy recovery!

can you use capstar on reptiles? i know its usually used during fly strike when its extreme with mammals? but its the only hope with them i wonder if it would also do the same thing i imagine it would in to e injested not topically applied and stops all the larva etc in the skin in their tracks
its used commonly on abandoned or orphaned babies and works with no side effects other than improvment so i wonder, seems to e relitively safe and we all know how delicate baby mamals are and were talk new born to a month or less and ive never heard of any bad reactions deaths or overdoses or anything so might be something you could look up. if it does work im sure it would e wuite handy forthe future also, blue-cote is also key or silver spray

Poor boy😢 his eye looks injured too, it looks red in the corner. The lizards do act up getting a bit crazy during summer. Even my usually very chill tegu girl is getting feisty in her own tank, cause she saw her neighbour from across the room🥹 normally she doesn’t even care and suddenly she’s not ok with it but fortunately all she did was arch her back and wiggle her tail. She calmed down once I started talking to her, at least she wasn’t feisty with me lolll
