Holy fucking shit this is definitely one of your best ones! It works so darn well, and you did the QotSA absolutely perfectly, I could very easily be fooled into thinking they actually covered this if someone had me listen to this without me knowing otherwise.

With the exception of that bit of falsetto, I didn't think it was that close. It took talent and was well-performed, to be sure, with some definite recognizable borrowings from a few QotSA songs, but the vocals didn't pass.

Im a huge QOTSA fanboi (at 36) thats seen Josh and Friends play live the handful of times hes made it the vicinity of me, and this is like the missing puzzle piece that ties the whole discography together. This is awesome! You totally got that QOTSA sound! Just a side note: I don't get how you play the (right handed) bass and that tele upside down Dick Dale style BUT you play those rhytm parts on a proper lefty guitar. That must be confusing as hell. I can understand one or the other but switching between them is absolutely mind blowing to me.
I used to play open mic nights in the Atlanta area with a guitar player I only knew as Lefty. His picking hand had a strap that held the pick because he didn't really have fingers. And he was one of the best guitar players I ever jammed with.

The Troy/Mikey falsettos are on point. All this is missing is a very simplistic piano/synth riff waaaay far off in the background with the volume turned down, and either a random unhinged drum fill in the middle of the song (Grohl) or the drums being hulk-smashed (Castillo/Theodore). But goddamn dude that riff and the guitar fills were perfect.

QOSTA is my favorite band, I've been listening to them for over 20 years. If someone played me this audio without telling me it was not them and said it was something they just recorded for the hell of it, I would believe them it captures their sound that well.
