Great SHOW as usual, Argie here, who is forever grateful to the only country South Africa, who always support us, who always give us an advice to improve, who always believe in us that we belong to compete the Rugby Championship while NZ and Aus poked fun on us at the beginning, well we prove them wrong.
It´s an incredible achievement to join England and Ireland to beat the BIG 3 South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in the same year calendar.

Not much went wrong against a resurgent Argentinian team. The Springboks with 10 changes to their squad faired well against a team that had beaten Australia convincingly as well as the All Blacks by a narrower margin. However the decision to take Pollard off and replace him with an unproven kicker was mind boggling. Hopefully Nelspruit will be a better day for a full strength Bok side. Watch out though the Pumas are coming and they have what it takes.

Exactly - Marco is a great jackler, however it appears he struggles with tackling and is far too slow around the field to be starting in a game. BJD is a good tackler when he gets there but again a little too slow at international level. So the Bok 6/7 starting combo for that game was always going to struggle with respect to speed around the field which directly affects defense capability.

Nope it wasn't a bad day... they were just simply outplayed by Argentina thats all... from a Springbok fan...
I was also shocked out of my shell, I couldn't understand how the boks could start of with a bang... they looked in control that first 13 minutes... but as soon as Argentina had the ball in hand and how they made the boks to scramble in the lose play... boks were just too confident in their selection, but I beg to differ that Argentina would have also won them in that hostile stadium had they selected their so called 1st team... It will be a 50/50 this weekend... actually nervious... I hope Argentina could win it, making it historic for them as well...

It was a bad day from a number of individuals(particularly defensively), which Argentina capitalized on with good play. Despite Argie scrum going terrible, the actual scrums they gave away were rarely in critical parts of the field.
Lukhanyo Am, Malcolm Marx pretty much the worst games I've seen them play. Ben-Jason Dixon invisible after the first 20, when usually he's a workhorse. Pollard and many others missing tackles you wouldn't expect them to.
I don't think the actual selections were bad in isolation, it took a bunch of players having off days at the same time.

Thanks guys for a great show. Here’s a little poem to celebrate Eben’s milestone.
In the land where vuvuzelas hum,
Here comes Eben Etzebeth, rugby’s rockstar chum!
Standing tall at 6.8, with a mane so grand,
    Muscle-packed, he's every rival’s banned.
Eyes that glint saying "I mean biz, dude,"
On the field, he’s a storm, a bulldozer so shrewd.
When he strides forth, dreams collapse in fright,
    Opponents shiver, under the floodlights.
The proud Springbok, with a heart shining bright,
128 caps soaring, no end in sight!
Aiming for heavens, breaking all reins,
In Rugby World Cups, they’ll etch their names.
Who could forget that Lions' tour affair?
Eben's magic had them pulling their hair.
    Line-outs swiped, scrums entangled,
In the Springbok spell, they were manhandled.
Against Pumas, in rucks, oh what a scene,
Picking up balls like squirrels’ acorn routine.
In mauls where players tangle and twine,
    Eben prevails, every single time.
Glory hunting this weekend, hearts pound with glee,
60 million South Africans, a buoyant spree.
Eben, a legend, a milestone grand,
In the game of thrones, with wit we applaud, hand in hand.
With Eben in charge, every muscle ready,
Our titan rules daylight, calm and steady.
In scrums and rucks, where the tough rumbles,
He’s our beacon, through all fumbles.
Pride ablaze, go forth, you bet,
For Etzebeth and Boks, our hearts are set!

I feel the squad as a whole found its feet well, after that blitz by Argies in first half abd Arendse returned to the field.

I think we need to praise the Pumas and how they have managed to play and win the games that they usually dont, the game against All Blacks and the one just gone with the Springboks showed how they can play both types of rugby, loose, fast back line running and set plays along with tight slugfest rucks and armwrestle with forwards to hold out a boks team that prides itself of the grinding of 1 poin test wins.
but what it does prove is that the boks have a 1 set of maybe 26/29 players not quite the depth of 2 starting XV's and a bench

Australia being cast in ''the big 3''. NOT for decades. This is the greatest time to be watching rugby. The recent World Cup showed how good the game is when it's played expansively, the running game, letting the ball sing, the game they play in heaven. Rugby played this way pisses on every other team sport played. The upsets will keep coming. How good. The back line moves remind me of club/school rugby here in Oz in the 60-80's. We were coached to run it from everywhere, try line to try line. With variations including switches, blind side winger off the 5/8th or inside centre, full back in with scissor move to create hole between the centers, having the out center stand in line with the farther goal post to bring the defence in so as to give your most attacking players to the fore ie wingers with space, one-on-one with their opposite and then the cover.
To watch all that reborn across the globe is fantastic. Long live letting the ball sing.
