Hi Koosje, Your book came while we were essentially closed down because of a snow storm and frigid temperatures. It came 5 days earlier than expected (I'm in Kentucky in the USA). I was so happy. Then I watched your collage episode and while intrigued, I didn't think I would do it. But after watching this episode, I'm eager to try it. Today I stopped for lunch and took out my little sketch pad and drew what was on my table while waiting for my order. Your videos have given me the courage to do this. I so look forward to them and I thank you for all your encouragement. Nina
Wonderful to see the process, first collage then drawing on top! Thanks too for showing your reference as you were drawing. it is helpful to see where you start and how you move around the page. Keep cozy!
I just bought a few Caran D' ache neocolor crayons recently, they're water-soluble like a watercolor pencil. They make the most intense colors with a water brush. I used the collage technique with some rough bamboo Asian Joss paper. it turned out well with brush and ink.
Hi Koosje, Enjoyed your video as always. Your drawing turned out great. I’ve never tried drawing on collage, inspired to try it. Going to try Neocolors 1 and 2 also. Thank you for your inspiration! 😊❤

Oh, my! I do hate being frozen! Thank you for braving the cold for this video. I'll definitely try the collage!
You can do this inside too, luckily for you!
you're braver than me drawing outside in these temperatures! I'm in hibernation until the summer haha 😂
You can do this inside too!

Love this!
Yay!
Great drawing. How do you keep your camera so still outside?
I use a flexible arm that holds my camera on one side and that I can clip on the bench where I sit. You can find it on Amazon
I prepared my collage last week, now I will go outside and try and have fun , although it’s very cold at the Baltic Sea 😂
Let me know how it went!
The inner critic: I don't know that, I don't know what to think of that... 😂
And that's exactly why you need to of it!
glad your finger didnt turn blue!!
Did you say " wiggigly, twiggely, twirl"?
I want to do that, so fun!
Thank you!
I might! Have fun.
don't listen to your inner critic: it is a beautiful piece of art. Very inspiring ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
