Don't mind me, just testing to see how well this synchs to Yu dancing to Specialist.
I really love the funk this radiates its really great
I commissioned this for a close friend of mine and im positive theyll love it as much as i did
IT'S TIME TO D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL!
I really like the music.
And both characters are perfect opponents for each other.
My favorite part is when the keyboard and then bass guitar are in sync with each other .
This has no right to be such a bop. Yugioh is a series I'd like to see in more fights, but the logistics make it impossible. Doesn't mean we can't enjoy amazing music for what a fight would be like.
@@nathanpinell6274 The main problem is just that the rules for how the cards as spirits work is vague and inconsistent. Sometimes they're demons summoned by Pharaohs, sometimes they're visitors from another world, sometimes they're just spirits who can't act upon the world, sometimes they have no power outside their world, sometimes they have power in our world, it's really hard to get a clear idea of what they can and can't do. Not to mention that we rarely get very good or consistent markings of their power, where sometimes they're incredibly powerful and can warp reality, but then they die by boulders.
@@nathanpinell6274 The problem there is that for most of DM it's hard to tell what's a hologram and what's the actual power of the cards. The only really good showcase is the final season where they go back in time and we see the monsters in action, but even then most of the time it's just the God cards shooting lasers at each other, which isn't an amazing reference point.
@@BillyBob-xx5jr At that point you should just go via star scaling and read the lore that's off of Monster Cards as reference
@@z1puncher112 The problem with the lore is that like 90% of it is just educated guesses, and that we don't know how different monsters scale to each other, plus most of the cards Yugi has used have next to no lore. You could go off lore, but it'd just kind of be "He's as powerful as you want him to be," at that point.
I’m willing to bet that this was commissioned partially just for the title pun
Idk who wins
Sakura may have been universal and able to warp realities but Yugi has the power of Exodia (Aka Insta kill and infinite power), can break infinity itself and he can also prevent himself from dying by whatever reason is.
The original name was Heart of the Cardcaptors for anyone wondering.
IDK about the other character, but judging from the track, I think it's a pretty cool matchup. Personally, I would have preferred Ash or Dan Kuso.
Card games on magical girls...
...What do you mean that doesn't work?
They D-D-D-D-D-DUEL!
THIS IS PEAK
Two mashup ideas:
-Wario and Ryotsu (KochiKame)
-Chalkzone and Magic Pengel/Graffiti Kingdom
This reminds me of the Yugioh 5Ds soundtrack. If it were edited in there I wouldn't doubt it's part of the ost.
While I prefer Ash VS Yugi I admit this shit slaps has a really jamming vibe to it
Ash vs Yugi has NOTHING
I like this one.
It's time to d d d d d d d duel!
What the heck, is up with your profile picture?
I know Yugi(sort of), who's the other person?
Sakura Kinomoto is the heroine of an oldish magical girl type series authored by mangaka group CLAMP which got adapted into anime, Card Captor Sakura. It tells the story of an elementary school student, Sakura, who one day opens a weird book she found in her house, thus releasing a host of incredibly powerful cards, property of ancient Wizard Clow, all over town. Along with nerfed Guardian Kero and best friend Tomoyo, and as the story progresses more and more of an entourage, Sakura, now a Card Captor, aims to battle those Cards and seal them all, bonding with them and gaining their powers as she does so, to restore tranquillity to the world at large.
The series included some magical girl-related weirdness, along with some CLAMP-related weirdness, but is considered a classic nonetheless, and was a huge success in Japan and the world (and I was pretty into it as a kid). It's notable for having slow-burn character development in spite of following a monster-of-the-week format, featuring queer characters presented in a positive light, going absolutely _ham_ on costume design (with Sakura having no fixed magical girl outfit but instead donning one new costume per episode at the minimum) and being actually pretty abstract and/or dark in points in spite of a generally lighthearted tone (though it might just be me. Everybody be talking about Madoka Magica and yet Episode 46 traumatized me first).
The series spanned 70 episodes, plus two movies and a sequel that I haven't seen. Aged-up versions of its protagonists are also among the main characters of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, which was... Imma say CLAMP fanfiction written by CLAMP themselves? (factually: a series starring alternate universe versions of their characters, plus new faces, travelling through different worlds because of a quest I won't spoil. But Reservoir Chronicle is a whole thing in itself, and hard to sum up). Here ya go, hope that gave you enough of an insight!
(Personality-wise, Sakura's an optimist, cheerful and sensitive to the needs of those around her, but not especially smart. She has exceptional athletic abilities, which shows in the way she hunts Cards, and her first reflex will often be to brute-force her problems. ... So all in all pretty different from (what I know of) Yugi-as-Yami - that'd be a fun combo).
Connections?
Both hold cards to summon monsters
Better than ash vs yugi
