Please do not dont mess with the plugs on the side of the oil pan.i was told once theyre striped out it could crack the pan.the actual drain plug is on the botton of pan.and needs to be replaced with new one each time

Drain plug is on the bottom of pan, and the locking tap for the oil cap should be lift up not taken out.
