- You can snipe like it's Halo Combat Evolved right now in Destiny 2 Crucible PVP using the exotic pules rifle the Revision Zero. Headshots charge up a sniper round which can be fired from the hip with extreme accuracy. Bungie employee gives insight to the design philosophy.

Revision zero is an EXCELLENT choice for an athrys hunter throwing knife build. 4 round bursts, easy head shots , safe distance, throw the knife, build up for sniper shots....a lot of SAFE FUN! Great set up for absolute COWARDS like myself.

Use the heavy knife as a makeshift special weapon. Free 1 bang any range best in close/medium.
@@rogerhuston8287 Yea it takes a LOT of precision hits to get a sniper shot, I will admit I don't get a sniper shot very often when I use this thing, but it IS easy to get the strengthened heavy throwing knife buff for athrys going
@@bobdolespen Yea, same problem with the knives for me, but when I do get one, I end up hitting the wall in front of me rather than throwing it.
It’s a way different play style for sure. Before I switched to Athrys, I was practicing with Ophdia Spathe. I found a much higher success rate with Ophdia than Athrys. Anyways I’ll keep practicing
Fun fact, Revision Zero gets the properties of an Aggressive Frame sniper rifle, but all of its stats for the mode remain the same as its standard form. So that 543 damage on a headshot is the same damage as an Aggressive Frame sniper, but it doesn't have that low stability.

Revision Zero was the first gun I grabbed when the update dropped and I knew it was instantly S tier. I’m not normally a kill streak player, but this gun hands out We Rans like it’s free candy
It's ironic you say that my first we ran I got in months was with revision zero and mini tool😂😂😂! Running and gunning never had a cooler sound or swag!
4 burst pulse rifles have been strong (or AT LEAST VIABLE) in nearly every sandbox they've been part of. I love those guns!

The sniper scope just takes up so much room on the screen. Especially if you play with center reticle.

Love this weapon, was using it earlier in the season for trials/comp stuff, but in the new sandbox I've just been struggling a lot more. Maybe I'm more inaccurate than I thought I was, maybe the meta is just funky right now (which is also true). I might pick it back up the next time I head into PvP.
Whoever designed that thumbnail needs a raise. It's so good.

I am so confident in saying that the thing that holds RZ from being used more or being meta at all, is that the 2 bursts are not very consistent while in the 4 burst mode because of the lack of Head Seeker and most importantly I also believe the Zoom on the Sniper mode is WAYYY too high, it feels way too Jarring going from the Normal scope zoom to the sniper zoom, makes you feel like you're way too close to them which also makes it harder to hit your shot consistently, unless you're really far away from them, if they reduced the zoom on it a little bit it would be a LOT better and consistent while in sniper mode, and if it had Better consistency perks in general like head seeker as well.
the 2 burst is extremely easy to get but yes the sniper zooms in way too much
What sensitivity do you run? I notice you seem pretty accurate.
Frostbolt also recently did a video using this with Athrys Hunter and that's always my favorite PvP build regardless :)
I always loved the R.Zero from the get go from how cool it looked and I want to main it in PvP but since my aim is very poor, I can't capitalize on it as well as I'd like to. Because that weapon is amazing for so many reasons.
TV out here teaching us the Mom Sickness/Congestion Test method and giving us a video diving into Revision in PvP.
Just realized that a reworked Icebreaker idea I had a while back, is literally just revision zero.
I had thought that by dealing damage and getting kills could build up a ammo Sythesis bar that would give you ammo for the sniper, but that’s Just Revision zero

Honestly my favourite weapon in the game for both pve and pvp. Wish I had recorded this, but i did manage to get a collat on two people inside a well the other day, I was stunned.
So good with ikelos smg or smth similar. What do you guys craft it with? EotS super nice for the 4 burst, also dig ele capacitor on arc or stasis

I love revision zero, and woth the way people are team shooting and sticking to cover after they get low on health, it's easier than ever to build up the sniper shots with it!

Personally I like eye of the storm on mine. I leave so many fights on low health so it is nice having that boost in accuracy.👌

Hey TV, i would recommend you try out the False Promise 360 AR back in Arrivals. If you have one with Zen Moment and Dynamic Sway, it slaps jn this current meta. 360 ARs overall is in a good spot.
I'm loving 360s atm too. mercules said they were slept on on the firing range podcast, so decided to give them a go. I've been using Come to pass with perpetual and golden tricorn which gives it a .67 sec ttk with GT active. So good. Next week can craft an age old bond from last wish. Think this is gonna be my main going forward with precisions getting a slight nerf soon too. Will have to see if have a false promises in the vault

I crafted this gun December 23rd of last year and have never taken it off since... We'll aside for switching to my PVE roll!
I’m a big fan of revision zero with several thousand crucible defeats. I generally run the two burst since I can have max range, 80 stability, and 80 handling with perpetual motion. Then you pair it with explosive personality and it becomes easy to take out large groups of players.
Im sick as well but the only thing that is bothering me is my throat. Its dry and it hurts when i swallow anything. Hope you feel better soon

I actually started using Revision Zero in PvP after the sandbox update (cause it ruined my previous build lol). I’ve been loving the 2-round burst cause it feels like graviton, but waay more stable. Maybe I’ll try the 4-round burst later and we’ll see if I go flawless…

My favorite moment in Trials of all time was only me and one warlock standing, match point. They pop a well. I hear that beautiful sound queue and long press reload. I made the shot, almost point blank. Match win. Nothing has come close.

Had this weapon, but been thinking about it ever since the Special Changes were announced.
Funnily enough, was told to stop using it in Trials.

Had a match yesterday where a guy killed me in pulse rifle mode and then killed me in sniper mode while in my spawning animation from across the map. All in the span of less then 10 seconds.

I've personally been using Stay Frosty, a lightweight pulse rifle. Not many of those and it's getting a 6% body shot damage and 3% crit increase so Headseeker on it will feel nice.
It's been doing really well, the only downside is the range. But in something like Trials it puts in work.
My roll with Headseeker and Killing Wind has a range of 34 meters. It extends to 39 meters with Killing Wind active. Not bad for the archetype.
In Trials, it won't keep the Targeting Data between rounds, will it?

I have a little over 2k pvp kills on mine and it's definitely slept on. I wanted to use it last season for comp and I grinded all the way to Ascendant with it as my primary weapon.
I thought it was good but not great until I learned about the hipfire. Strand grapple 360 no scopes are very possible and extremely fun
Still haven't done the catalyst for it. Guess it's about time lol

Unfortunately you do have to wait for the exotic mission to come back around. Just another crappy things the Devs time gate to inflate make believe numbers to show the shareholders

Another fun loadout is ophidia spathe and lightweight knives, the knives have massive aim assist and theyll track instantly to the head if you hit a body snipe shotb

I actually do have a couple of good Revsion Zero clips, though they are from back in Season of the Seraph. I kinda stopped recording them after a while, but Revision is locked in my inventory and I always loved using it.

@truevanguard the problem is , if you got the weapon but didn’t unlock everything of that thing you can’t get it anymore . Leveling up in the enclave does almost nothing ..

You can still get the gun and every upgrade and catalyst. Wait until the Seraph's Shield mission is available in the exotic mission rotator (which is next week) and then just play that. Normal difficulty rewards intrinsic upgrades, legend awards the catalysts.
I tried it, but it doesn't work for me as I can't stay alive long enough to get the perk going.
