I have the standard Fiat 500 Lounge 1.2 petrol. The things I hate about it are the general build quality and reliability, the things I love about it are everything else, The X looks as though it's the same with a bit extra practicality. Lots to love about these little cars.
I wouldn’t worry about the steering wheel, my experience tells me that Italian leather steering wheels are pretty good. Now French cars are a different matter. I have know them to fail within two years under warrantee.
My very first car I could call my own was a sage green w/dark green roof, suicide 4 door fiat late 1950's 0r early 1960's model I recall. My father had bought the car used and somewhere along the line it broke down and he left it parked next to the garage. As a little boy I had more fun sitting in my Fiat pretending I was driving all over the world as there were no limits to where that car could take me. Sadly as a teenager someone came to the door and asked to buy the car and offered me $50.00 which I accepted. Looking back now I regret selling it because I had my own magical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which I miss to this day.
I believe the FIAT 500x is being phased out, because Stellantis is now pushing the FIAT 600, which is bigger. By the way I bought the 500x sport, manual 6 gear, which is a great car. Moreover, being a limited edition won't lose its value...
Bit of a bad design call considering the geography where fiat is based. I Suspect the infotainment is thermal throttling. It might work better in more northern cooler climes. Not too keen on the SUV-like X but as I get older, the 500L does appeal based on pure practicality (and yes I did like the multipla). I just hope they don't turn into rustheaps like most cars do when they get anywhere north of London on this salty-roaded sceptered Isle.
The scratchy plastics in cars now ,we refer to as audi quality 😂 ,I have an x and it is way better finished than the plastic A1 that my daughters boyfriend has. It truly is dire plastic rubbish .
Those look like the exact same climate control dials I had in my 2010 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 😂 Also, the same gear stick that was offered in the later Giulietta Cloverleaf models. Surely they can't still be raiding that same parts bin?
@@prof1982 It's a question of preference. I personally prefer manuals, but some of my friends, well, you know, prefer automatics. FIAT automatic cars are fine, but the duel clutch version apparently has a few problems. I've never tried one. So, take it with a pinch of salt. Best to go and take a test drive first and see for yourself. Edit: The dual clutch version has an automatic drive and you can switch to a manual drive too...
i loved my fiat 500x with its 140bhp engine leather seats it felt classy
I think it's a timing belt and not a timing chain?

I love the gear stick! It's not a shitty E.V, or Tesla you know.

Hello there, I have a question, Fiat 500x 2025, will be any facelift? Thanks
