it's nothing the one recording could of done besides scare away the cat it's not a good idea to handle it yourself they dangerous and would have the same reaction to us as it did to the cat maybe he could of call someone

Dunno where this was filmed but, in most place birds are protected. In the US there's a phone number you could call people would've come got the owl, and nursed back to health. Glad it didn't get ahold of the cat, or vice versa.

I thought the same! I think Vedic tradition and Egyptian perhaps believe some animals have a group or herd soul and some have individual souls (like humans). I’ve always thought birds are individual.
