Lawrence Sand hi there. Sorry, i don't have that info. But if it's similar to my other car, there should be two parts to the ATF drain plug - you should drain by roving both parts, then refit the plug without the level plug. When you're filling with new ATF, any excess will drain out. That's how you maintain the correct level (not by calculating the correct amount to pour in).
Alexander Cainglet if it has the 1.5 litre engine, I would guess it is the same. Not sure where you're from - might have differences in different regions

There are 2 o-rings at the connection between the oil filter housing and the engine which needed to be replaced. If your engine is burning an excessive amount of oil but not dripping oil, i think you should get it checked. Oil capacity is roughly that amount. I filled with 2.85l of new oil in this video.
20W50 is heavy, that's for diesel engine. Avanza 1.5 FE should be arounf 12-13.5 km/l. normally engine oil is 10W30 or 15W30 for Avanza petrol engine. 4.5 km/l is too much, check could be either spark plugs, ignition coils, O2 sensor is/are bad.

On vehicles with roller cam followers you can normally run a 0 weight -20 to 0 weight 40. If cam does not have roller followers you. Normally must have a 5 or 10 wt 30 as otherwise the camshaft lobes may wear requiring replacement. Safest is always to start with minimum weight synthetic as recommended for car. If you put 15 weight 40 in you will wear the engine so it will require it in future, running 30 degrees hotter and with less gas mileage due to more friction and knock 100,000 of available engine life from engine. So run lightest synthetic, check for oil usage, increase minimum weight only when it becomes a bother to add between changes. This gets you longest life and least fuel usage.

How many km between oil changes on an Avanza? Does synthetic oil vs. regular oil increase km between oil changes?
synthetic oil change every 10k km.
regular/mineral oil change every 5k km.

Yeah no prob. If it's too tight then it will be quite difficult, so at least some rubber gloves would help.

10W-30
