I was recently re-watching another horror franchise (When a Stranger Calls), and it really reminded me how good the later Stepfather movies were. I mean, they really could've been worse. For crying out loud, the Stranger remake has worse reviews than its' own Asylum mockbuster. The Stepfather series could've been so much worse, and I really can't bring myself to be that harsh on them anymore.

These films were so underrated.
Hell even the reboot wasn't horrible 3 was a complete miss Terry was 90% of what made it but the reboot actually captured the same spirit
