Hello and thank you for your videos, it helps us a lot... I installed the same screen and it does not turn on. Have you ever had the problem? I reinstalled an old screen and it works normally.
Thank you for testing all those displays. One general info I am missing from you is your general recommendation on android vs linux operating systems. Also I wonder if those displays are actually all white-labels running the same OSs or if there are actually differences. There are so many on amazon and Ali-express (better priced but looking exactly like the hansshow) which are hard to tell apart. So, it would be really good to have your opinion on the different operating systems. Which seem to be either Android or Linux.
Got the TMA T6 display for my M3/21 too. And it is still available on the website (checked a minute ago). Works good and their support helped me with the bluetooth loudness. But OTA seems to be a marketing gag only. I do not expect that to become true ever. 😢 Thank you Shiva for your great work.
Hi I Have a Question for you, have you seen Any display That can record while your driving? I Know That Tesla has a Front Dash Cam but it only records when an event occurs. I’m looking for a display that can record while I’m driving. Thank you for your prompt response.
Is there an installation Video for the Tlyard 9.66 inch display? I like the looks of it but can't find an installation video. They claim a 3 Minute install which I very seriously doubt.
@@ShivaSapkota Thanks Shiva, I like your videos. Is this display pretty good? I was thinking about the Hansshow F9 but the installation look a bit intimidating while this one is Super Easy. I just hate to glue anything to my dash that eventually will fall off or will leave marks if you want to remove it.
@@ThomasRSmith-og7zo Yeah the display is pretty good. It doesn't have all the features of the F9 but the installation is quick. I used a heat tool (hair dryer works too) to remove it from my dash and it didn't leave any glue marks. You just gotta take it slow while removing it. Ofcourse I am unsure how it will hold up in extreme heat.
@@ShivaSapkota Do you think that the F9 at this time is the Best Display out there and what is the difference between the Android system and the Linux ? Besides the price. Is the one with the Android system quicker ? Not sure which to buy.
The TMA site only shows the T6 for the Model 3 Highland, and doesn't provide the option of selecting it for earlier Model 3's such as my 2022. Have they discontinued it for earlier models? It also appears that they have made some changes to the physical size of the screen.
I actually just checked and they do have an option that shows "Model 3/Y" and another option that shows "Highland". They just confirmed the T6 is still available for older cars. Thank you.
@@ShivaSapkota Yes they just responded to me with that info. My bad. Thanks. BTW, I find TMA much more responsive than Hansshow. I told them I was waiting for them to address UI issues, such as the 260 mph speedometer, and large screen bezels. BTW, the T6 screen appears to be 1080x480, compared to 1920x720 on the Hansshow F9. So despite the larger screen on the F9, the resolution appears to be better on it than on the T6.
Thanks for all your detailed videos ! I have a question about the T6 and Android Auto. My android phone is a Huawei without Google Services. Does the T6 require to connect to Android Auto application installed in the smartphone ?
Hello, thank you for your support. Unfortunately, they had told me in the past that it requires an Android Auto application as they developed this unit using that infrastructure.
Bruv i got the Hansshow F9 with the front Camera, and about to install it next few hours, problem i have a front plate covering the center of the grill, can i place the camera on the side of the plate ? will it look weird ?
Is the f9 really out of place on the model 3? They advertised a new version with Android base. What is the info on this? My biggest concern is the rapid production of all these units…. Will they keep supporting them Chinese based. What are your thought on Hansshow and their reviews are really biased only to positive on their website. My biggest concern is losing support when in 3 months they release yet another one… Thought?????
The F9 is a bit misaligned, and that could be an issue for many people, as you can tell it is slightly off-center. The Android base is exactly the same as Linux, except you get the Android Play Store. I honestly prefer Linux as it is cleaner, faster, and doesn't seem to break easily with Tesla updates. To be really honest, I don't usually trust the reviews I see on these product pages. I have seen some random name reviews with pictures they took from my TH-cam videos, haha. Having said that, I do think Hansshow will help patch any bugs that arise from future Tesla updates, but I highly doubt they will add new features or make significant changes to the UI. My guess is that they have moved on to another project at this time and don't think they intend to keep adding new stuff to the existing displays. A lot of subscribers have personally reached out to me, letting me know that the 10.25" 4G display I reviewed at the end of last year is still functioning well, and Hansshow has helped them resolve all the bugs.
I've concluded that Hansshow is simply a marketer of products made by others, and provides minimal support. I've seen no evidence of anyone ever getting an OTA update of any of their numerous products. I like most of the F9 features (other than the stupid 260 mph speedometer and the somewhat clumsy looking screen mounting), and like the T6 mounting method better as it doesn't look like an add-on but at the price of less air flow (which isn't a big deal to me). Since I have a functional 10.25" 4G Hansshow now, I'm inclined to wait for one of them to adequately address the various issues before spending more on a replacement for my 10.25 4G unit.
Agree with the T6. Would be nice if TMA recalibrates the speedometer scale for MPH, and increases the font size for the secondary values (e.g., time, temperature, odometer)
Well, that is like iPhone upgrades isn't it? Every year they add a few new things and it is the "best one" since it has more features/faster than the previous models. So, you are absolutely right, I will likely have a new favorite in the future when they come up with better displays :) Thank you.
None of them are useful for my as the only informations I want are battery motors temperatures, power usage in kw front and rear motors, I don’t care about speed or FSD visuals as I have all of that in main screen
What I want for Christmas is an honest assessment of how many owners have had warranty repairs denied because of these displays. I don’t care about the Magnuson-Moss comments, so just shut up about that. Tesla Service Centers are becoming very dishonest and having to go to arbitration or court to get warranty repairs done is not a wonderful solution to creating a warranty coverage issue to fix a design and cost cutting issue of lacking driver screens and infotainment options.
I've taken my Tesla to warranty with the products installed and never have they denied any warranty nor mentioned anything other than "wow, awesome seats" or "I like the auto handles"
Yeah it seems that each Tesla service center works slightly differently and no one has ever given me a straight answer. I have never had issues with warranty claims in the last 5 years and 100+ products installed. I have an active recall of a rear trunk wire harness that could make my camera go blank and they wanted to check it out last time I took my M3 for service to replace the control arms. They saw that I had those Cyber tail lights installed and I am running the wires outside of the grommet. They simply stated that my camera seems to be fine and if I want them replacing the harness, I would have to remove that tail light connection. They didn't void my warranty etc and told me to take it back if I want them to replace my harness under warranty. I also had an issue with my window regulator last year and they could have easily said "it is your automatic door mod that is affecting the regulator" but they instead replaced the entire regulator assembly under warranty. They just didn't connect the automatic door piece and told me to do it after I get home. So, I personally haven't had issues but can't say someone else hasn't/won't in the future.
I own a Tesla customization shop in Arizona. Out of the hundreds of Teslas we’ve installed displays in, we’ve never had any customers have warranty issues. All repairs to the vehicle have been covered with no issues. Tesla just won’t fix a part you’ve “replaced” with an aftermarket part. For example, let’s say you swap out your door handles for auto presenting ones and a handle stops working, you don’t go to Tesla for that, you go back to the shop that installed it. Lastly, when we take our shop cars in for service, they get surrounded by the service employees because they just love the modifications. They are amazed at the things you can change on a Tesla. We’ve never had any warranty issues except suspension because it’s heavily modified so they won’t even touch it. I hope this helps! We’ve customized 1000’s of Teslas so no worries 🙏
Honestly if it stresses you out that much just don't get one or anything that you think might void your warranty. You don't NEED any of it or you shouldn't have bought a Tesla to begin with 😉
One way to approach towards HUD is a non integrated HUD, which shows map, android auto and Car play also a front wifi camera. This whole integration mess can be avoided. Also saves us on tesla warranty.

Great roundup of the displays. I'm sure there will be more coming in 2024! Thanks again.
Thank you! Yeah, I am sure there will be many more in 2024.
Nice job Shiva!
I bought same item like you but wasn’t fit and do I need transfer chrome trim to make it fit !
Do any of these HUDs display nags? I find it unsafely distracting to frequently have to look away from the road to avoid being disconnected
Is there any wireless option that doesn’t need wires installelation ?
Have you reviewed any HUD units? That’s really what I would like to see.
F9 works on m3 highland? Thanks

I think it will look fine, just a slight misalignment. As long as you can orient yourself that the camera is slightly off center, you should be good.

Shiva, please do an annual review for rear accessories! aka multimedia for rear passengers in MY3/Y. You should do it every year.

Thanks for the feedback my friend. I have been bugging them about recalibrating the speedo scale, hope they get on that soon.
Shiva I am torn between F68 and T6. Any recommendations?
Me too. I have the F68 but haven’t installed yet. I don’t see any difference between the F68 and T6??
I’m so annoyed the round one with the nice graphics doesn’t have a rectangular alternate.
Yes, I wish they made a rectangular version of that display. The graphics are super crisp and actually align well with Tesla.

I think a round MagSafe wireless charger behind the steering wheel is the best option 😁
