    The bulk bag is actually 5.25 lbs guys and gals, not 1 lb. I know I said that in the video and in the description, but it's my mistake. I must've had a brain freeze the day I made this video. Probably ate too much Dippin' Dots, lol.
    I put the link to where you can purchase Dippin' Dots ice cream in the description, but I will also include it in this comment and pin it to the top.

    You can also sign up for the emails to get various coupons throughout the year (like free shipping, 10% or 20% off your order and even "buy 2 bulk bags get the 3rd bag free").

      Same here. Been meaning to buy a bulk bag for awhile now, but I was just waiting for the right email coupon to use. It had been a couple of years since I last ate Dippin' Dots, so it was definitely refreshing. I'm actually thinking about buying 2 or 3 bags for the 4th of July just to give out to my audience while they watch the show. I know they sometimes offer a "buy 2 bags get the 3rd one for free" deal.

    If I do decide to store in a regular freezer can I just put the bag in there or do I need to separate it into little cups? Just wondering how it will be since they stick together

    • @pimpdaddee28
      @pimpdaddee28  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will be kinda hard to separate them if you put the bulk bag in the freezer, unless you intend to wait 5 minutes until it loosens up, which might not be a good idea since you risk leaving the ice cream out. That's how I came to the solution of using the cups.

      Eh, well actually you could fill maybe 40-50 if you didn’t fill it to the full volume of the container, but I’m pretty sure the package only comes with 30 or 40 containers.

    • @pimpdaddee28
      @pimpdaddee28  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They give you about 50 cups. I did re-use some of the cups early on when the ice cream was still in the ice chest (I would eat 2-3 servings in a row during the first day with the ice chest, lol). I still have 22 of those cups left, so that's 28 that were used. Add in the amount of times that I re-used a cup and I would say 40 cups were used for the entire bulk bag, so I guess you can make between 40-50 servings if you don't completely fill the cups to the top. Sorry for the late reply!!

      I calculated what I had vs what I would pay say at a sporting event or amusement park where they would have stands and it's waaaaaay cheaper to buy in bulk. Those small cups go for like 6 bucks at those stands and I filled about 40 cups worth from that 5.25 LB bag, so it was definitely cheaper if you don't mind putting the extra ice cream in your regular freezer.
      The only other ice cream that I really like that is cheaper is Malley's Ice Cream. There's a Malley's chocolate shop that also happens to be an ice cream parlor near area that sells some of the best ice cream that I ever had.
