Excellent video! Congrats on beating two of the Thorms via dialouge. However, I find the fights, especially the Thiobold combat, to be a challenging and interesting encounters, forcing one to adapt novel tactics to overcome. A point of clarification, your character can benefit from multiple potions simulataneously. Therefore your avatar can imbibe multiple long acting potions (such as detect thoughts, animal speaking, halfling luck, etc) that last until long rest and temporary potions,(ie fly, speed, invisibility, etc) without fear. It is only elixirs that allow only one to be active (even then there are a few exceptions). Please continue your entertaining videos. I wish you continued success PS -- While the punchdrunk bastard (the greatclub you looted in this video) is not viable for your rogue run, you might consider it in your fighter playthrough. The guaranteed advantage on attack rolls can negate the accuracy penalty with GWM and the AOE thunder damage does somewhat mitigate a fighters weakness against multiple enemies. Plus, it is hilarious to pretend that, like darts, pool, or bowling, one could improve one's fighting skills whilst becoming ever more inebriated. Cheers
Eversight ring underwhelming?! Immunity to blindness allows you to fight and act in darkness, is comparable to a superpower, that gives immunity by ranged foes and disadvantage by melee ones (stealing is trivialized by this ring)
Ok, ok, we’ll have a look at it again :)) I don’t recall now what it does exactly. But there aren’t many enemies that can blind us and my spell DC isn’t hight enough yet to blind them…
@@immersioneer you don't need spell to fight using darkness. All it takes are darkness arrows 😉 (or a cloack that you missed cause the kidnap of isobel at last light inn 😖)
@@immersioneer Darkness - nothing ranged can target you, any melee attacks with disadvantage. Immune to blind - you can sit in darkness and shoot with advantage.
If you are interested and you not consider this "meta game" you can speak again to the merchant drow at Moonrise tower (with the character who has not still spoke with her) and obtain another elixir from your halfling blood 😊
@@immersioneer You might also want to search the bar area more thouroughly. There is a chest on the first floor (that same level that you encouontered Thioold) that, while not hidden, is a tad obscured, that contains another potion of angelic reprieve.
Also stopping back in the comments to say it might be worth it to extract your ingredients and create some potions/elixirs/poisons/grenades to cut down the weight you're carrying, or just sending reagents to camp to be used when needed. The craftable stuff can be very useful, whether just to use or to sell for some extra gold so you can afford desirable items like that Risky Ring that Linus wanted in ep. 71
Yeah, I’ve extracted a lot of stuff, but I’m always afraid I’ll craft the wrong thing haha and end up crafting very little :) We definitely need to make better use of consumables though…
@@immersioneer Half my characters have 8 strength and I'm never encumbered lol. It's because you always keep unnecessary things XD. The few light things I wanna keep are in camp and I sell the rest .
So lucky with Malus, I failed the same check yesterday, and had to fight them all. Evarts Black Tentacles came to my rescue.
Yeah, we got some good rolls there! But we are also super buffed up :) Glad we left these legendaries for later!

Thanks! Yeah, I forgot that detect thoughts is just a “day-long” potion, rather than an elixir - I should remember that!

Basically enables one of the most op strategies in this game :-)

@@alexmashkin863 and don't forget: A.I. HATES step in darkness, so melee foes rarely challenge you if you sit in darkness
dont worry too much about detect thoughts, ive seen it used once in the game
Yeah, it seems it falls off after Act 1…

She literally said 'come back for more', what meta game?
Yeah, we might do. I didn’t quite understand the significance of this elixir, I have to say - it’s pretty OP!
Can you tell me whether that angelic rest potion will make me loose my shar blessings and / or halfling luck elixir?
@@immersioneer you will mantain the bonuses since an actual long rest in your camp. The potion is ok to keep your buff up 👍

We also have 8 strength, which doesn’t help…

@@immersioneer Yes, they added that after the first few patches
