First of all. Welcome back. I missed you.
This was a spur of the moment project. ForestRain needed the instrumental for a convention, and it was all but destroyed. So I had to recreate it, and it came out much better than the original. Figured at that point, why not give it a respin. And here it is.
This is not necessarily a return to pony music, may not even be a return to music at all. Tis just a tasty snack for the time being. I'll see about getting some more stuff up on this channel, likely under the new moniker, Alex Icarus, which is a project I've had in mind for a while. We'll see where it goes.
In the meantime, enjoy this little slice of updated nostalgia. And Happy Halloween.

I know you said it would not be necessarily be a return to pony music, but I hope you will one day. You're my favorite pony musician and today I'm still listening to most of your musics as Octavia's Overture or Soldiers of the Night. Well, it may be three years late, but I finally found this gem of a remix. Really glad you chose to use the staggered vocals that Glaze originally used when saying "prepare". It's something I havent been able to find in any other remix/redux of Nightmare Night

I'm a late comer to the fandom. Since the Brony fandom has been reduced to its most loyal fans and lost the hype train, I've never had the chance to see a "new" pony video with less than a few months' age on it that wasn't a review/reaction to canon/older fan content. Nice remix!

Oh, and the remix is cool, too. I haven't really been in a pony craze like I used to be, no matter what my avatar at the time of posting this may suggest. So I can understand the burnout people have/had. This is a nice bit of nostalgia though. ...and the one festive thing I've seriously enjoyed this year.
