Sorry bout the jump at the start! Thought I was recording when it wasn't :( Didn't really change their design too much with this one but hope you like it nonetheless! Got any kids shows/movies you'd especially like to see me butcher? _____________ Mystery inc., was made up of a teenage group of friends, who would solve mysteries and battle monsters, always managing to save the day. This was their reality. They didn't see the white sterile walls as confining. Their meals, always colorful and easy to swallow and the daily check ups from the nurses and doctors were seen as their friends and family. The hospital had tried everything to get them to escape this dreamland of theirs. They even let the group keep the Great Dane they had found in the same facility they were rescued from as children. It was medical mystery that the dog was still alive after having a human voice-box implanted. Instead of rejecting the foreign organ, he was able to use it, which would result in this repeated warbled human cry. Even though unsettling to hear for others, the group would find delight in thinking the dog could understand them. It was a mistake that day for the nurses to try and remove the dog after seeing no progress in their recovery after all these years. The group had always been relativity docile to them, so they were unprepared when suddenly they themselves had turned into the 'monsters'.
The whole world knew that monsters weren't real. Afterall, the Mystery Gang spent so long proving that every "monster" was just a different kind. That the multi-eyed, green, horrifying monsters were just the multi-millionaire, envious and awful monsters of humanity. So it came as a surprise when the news came out. No one believed it, how could you? The Mystery Gang was no more than mere humans! And a dog, but... When their faces melted into goop, blood dripping from their hands as they mauled through city after city, absorbing life forces and terrorizing civillians.. They realized, that the monsters the Gang showed were never the real monsters. It was them.
The reason that Scooby still lives is because he is absorbing some energy from shaggy. Shaggy knows this and volunteers the energy to keep him alive. This bond makes them the strongest characters.The others live off the energy that Scooby doesn't use. This keeps them all youthful. thanks for coming to my ted talk

Has anyone noticed how Fred was the only normal one in Mystery Inc? Fred just had a knack for strategy and traps, which are both pretty basic skills in human evolution. Meanwhile, Shaggy can run at the same pace as a Great Dane, which I believe have a top speed higher than Usain Bolt’s, and can occasionally keep that same pace while holding the Great Dane. Not to mention he has come out seemingly unscathed from physical traumas that would kill the average human. And then the mentioned Great Dane has the ability to speak, only hindered by limited vocabulary and a speech impediment. And then Velma can not only spot details in crime scenes that are otherwise unnoticeable, but is able to make obscure yet infallible deductions from them. And then there’s Daphne, who has a seemingly endless array of odd talents that are only explained by her being rich.
don't know about shaggy, velma or daphne but in the Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorportated Scooby was a decended of an alien speices that used the bodies of animals to communicate with humans
I like this a lot, so I would like to add onto it. Whether or not he is a real dog, maybe the distorted human voice box could be a reminder of whatever facility they were rescued from, causing them to relapse back into their deteriorating mental state without them knowing.
What if the voice box was from a serial killer that kept telling the kids to go on a killing spree? They would break out in the middle of the night, run around killing and be back in the morning? No one would know they escaped, but they would notice the string of murders on the news. And when they took Scooby.... They Broke.
If I may add onto this- they would probably kill their victims through removing their face and scalp (hence the masks thing they do in the show) and likely leave them to die of bloodloss.
I'm so glad someone brought that up. Mystery incorporated is definitely the best version, these dark ones and the live movies are the only things that compare. I love weird and disturbing stuff but I like good lore more and that's what mystery incorporated gave me =)

I like to think that each of them shows a different kind of madness. (Keep in mind im not a psychiatrist, nor do i have any REAL idea what im talking about. im just reading their body language and faces) Fred's is a docile madness. He is very calm and amicable in every action he takes, including the violent ones. He'd be the one humming a cheery tune as he caved someone's head in. Velma's is a deranged madness. Her actions may have meaning to them, but she's the only one that makes sense of that meaning. She'd be the one ranting about "voices in the walls" and "shadows in the spaces." Daphne's is a maniacal madness. She acts upon every impulse because she wants to, or simply because she can. She'd be the one who'd stab someone in the throat because she "didn't like their face". Shaggy's is a quiet madness. He keeps mostly to himself, but every action he does is centered around himself and Scooby. He'd be the one in the corner whispering to himself and Scooby. And Scooby's is a blank madness. There's no real reason to his actions, save if Shaggy asked him to do something. He'd be the one to stare blankly ahead until Shaggy said something, to which he'd then focus on you before charging full speed, not showing a single emotion.

Technically I remember that the Scooby Doo had some *intense* episodes with *legitemate* monsters and aliens, in addition there was the Scooby and his family scrappy; and other relatives that are all canines that gained the ability to speak human language(!)
There was one episode that scared the heck out of me as a kid... I think it was from one of the Mystery Incorporated episodes... It was of a person pretending to be a witch (I think) and the mask was just terrifying. Of course, they had to put a little jumpscare and of course, me being me, got scared out of my wits and screamed.
I remember there being a lot of intense episodes in Mystery Inc. But the final two espisode had to be the most darkest episodes i watched as a kid. Im gonna try to spoil what happen to thous who hadnt watched it, but it pretty much left me scarred as a child.
I imagine that the "Mystery Machine" was really a Gurney that they decorated with colored paper, painted cardboard, stickers, etc. that they found and Freddy would just push them around thinking he was driving...
I think there was a movie and it was about the gang going to a carnival (no not newer one with scrappy), and they were trying to solve a curse or something... long story short fred, velma, and daphnie end up turning into monsters and my (tiny kid mind at the time) was scared to death.

is it bad shaggy has always ,in my mind, been delusional and Scooby was just a dog his parents got to keep his sanity under control so dey didn't die. and all the people the "gang" unmasked were just each time shaggy lost control and hallucinated. Scooby could never actually talk, the gang didn't exist, and shaggy was delusional, easily making him the most dangerous of the "group". or, if the gang did exist, they were toxic friends and they fed shag's problems for amusement. his unusual eating habits are just him trying to explain his problems to people, and they don't understand and usually are confused at his strange way of explaining things, and most avoid him, hence him staying with his toxic friends. they just don't understand the severity of his conditions, and they pretend not to care. ya'll like the story i made three years ago at three am staring at my roof thinking of conspiracies?
@@faithcarter6942 The first story is quite interesting, but what you're describing for shaggy is something more along the lines of schizophrenia, being a psychopath is a completely different thing. People often just associate it to insanity which is inaccurate and leads to a lot of misunderstandings about a very sensitive topic, just try to use better wording.

One of my favorite ... AUs? Theories? was that the gang was a bunch of eldritch abominations in human skin with Fred as their, like, keeper? But this one really gives me the vibe that they are the ghosts haunting the hospital, and ghost hunters are slowly being killed off by them. So yeah, definitely another fave!

The mentally ill bunch that evades the law by traveling so far they can never be remembered in any one place makes the most sense. They live in a van, never tell anyone where they come from, usually leave just as the police get involved (when the baddie gets arrested at the end), seem to take great pleasure in sending people off to jail regardless of whatever the goal of the fake hauntings were, are obsessed with ghosts, I mean, they think the dog they own is sentient and that he talks to them. Even if they weren’t insane at the start of their adventures they definitely would’ve experienced a rapid deterioration in mental health after all the times they’ve been chased by strange people down dark, narrow hallways.

(Let's do this nonsense again shall we?) The lights flickered on and off, causing the horrors inside the halls to be shrouded in darkness for a moment, only to come into the light again, revealing the terror once again. The bodies and limbs of the medical staff lay in heaps around the hallways of the asylum. Very few were all in one piece. Amidst the gruesome scene were four young adults. They sat on the floor, close to each other, and seemed to not notice the death that circled them. A great dane, it's brown fur stained with the blood of the poor victims, lay his head on the brown haired males lap. The teenager chuckled and gingerly stroked his beloved pet. "Good job Scoob." (Old Version) The halls were filled with bodies, some simply stabbed or choked, whereas others were completely mangled. The blood of the dead stained the floors and walls as more spilled out of their bodies. The lights flickered, and four teenagers emerged from a room, their own white clothes stained with blood. They stood, admiring their handy-work with please. The brown haired male whistled and almost at once a large brown dog came sprinting towards them. It stopped, and licked it's blood soaked nose. "Good work Scoob."
God damn, this a scary image/concept. I know of an anime that tried playing with this idea of "world around them isn't as they seem, because 1 or more characters, are actually delusional" and it just flopped. But this! This image, scooby gang or not, is a terrifying. All the scars, straps, and implications with all the blood but the scariest part is the clothes! How they found their iconic clothes as they're walking out a hospital that, i'm assuming, exclusively provided their "original" all white wardrobe. THAT'S FUCKIN TERRIFYING! Velma's hand looks mangled and yet, fuckin fred looks so peaceful walking out of the place still attached to his IV (figuratively or literally, idk) and fucking shaggy looks the scariest because,,,,,just,,,,just look at him! Meme all you want, he's whispering to a dog after the gang just did what they did, while just walking out. Those criss cross stitches are intimidating to such a high degree. that was a great call; i know people say "an image tells a thousands words" but this thing writes a whole novel. Amazing job with the silhouette, clothing choice, pose. The whole thing is terrifying and i love it

I’m gonna try... hope it’s not too bad ;3; And it continues. The poor teens continue their penniless stories in hopes of persuading their nurses, psychiatrists, and even the doctors who pass by their doors. It’s been a couple of months ever since they were forcefully ripped apart from their beautiful and giant Great Dane, Scooby, mentally and physically. They weren’t the greatest of patients but they were something out of the ordinary, strangely. I was surprised myself when their escape was planned out successfully, and in the end busted through the system. Unfortunately, their psyche, emotionally scarred, broke and so did they when police counted the bodies. I know this because I experienced their shattered mentality first hand, cornered in a dark forsaken hallway, and threatened in a menacing tone. Freddy, or Fred, was the mastermind with the knowledge of their almost persuasive stories. He was the master of traps and had probably thought of an escape during his time here, alone and wasting slowly away... he knew he had to get out with his friends right by his side, especially Scooby. He called his little posse, Mystery Inc. and sometimes the Mystery Gang, which I thought was cute. Then there was Velma, the gang’s brainiac and who was probably the most involved with the escape plan, while Daphne had been their excellent ‘damsel in distress’. She wasn’t much of a damsel in distress because of the way her mentality had destroyed her own body. Her hand has literally seen hell and continues to remind me about her. Velma wasn’t looking too good with those scars on her thighs.. in fact, they all had them, which in my head lead me to think of them as some mystery cult. I also can’t forget about Shaggy. I pitied him the most. When I first met him, I felt as his soul had left his body before I had even stepped into his room. He had told me the same stories the rest of the broken friends had said, but his were more of the cherished moments he had with his best friend, Scooby. In fact, he had told me so much about how the gang relied a lot on Scooby and how much they were emotionally attached to the dog. I had concluded then and there that each friend had a missing piece within themselves, and with the amount of time they had been by themselves, locked away in white as snow rooms is showing their true colors. It had been clear to me, when I had been cornered by the gang that fateful night that meddling with their dog was not a good idea from the start. Freddy’s high but manly voice continues to haunt me to this day. “You mess with one, you mess with all.”
In general I really like this concept a lot! The many scars on the entire gang make me think more about where the beginning of this video was going, though. Instead of being patients of a mental institution, it instead looks like they had been using the very mysteries they busted along with medical treatments to preserve their age from the show's beginning to now. The only way a group of teenagers would be able to still look the way they did decades ago in a world like this could involve something mystical and medical, and this image shows them leaving with a secret to keep. They are anything but natural, and the world doesn't get to know why. They only get to feel how offset the people in a room become when this gang's around. *Also, I just want to say I think Daphne's hand is the wrong way around. Just a small inconsistency I noticed, but otherwise very good!

The bond between man and dog was one unbreakable. One untouched by anything other than death, and even then death could never truly break the bond. Shaggy and Scooby had always been a rooted part of this since the very beginning, since that first moment between them. The two would do anything for one another, and when the rest of the Gang was there, there was nothing any of them COULDN'T do . . . and that's always where the problem started. Scooby was always destined to live shorter than the rest of them. Dogs weren't meant to live long, by nature's elegant rules. They were meant to remind us of joy and happiness amongst a world of longing and despair, a world falling so quickly to everything within it. Shaggy, the poor guy, had always resented the idea of Scooby's timely demise, disregarded the thought of losing his best friend. EVER. It was the hardest thing to get him to understand, the hardest thing to ever have to do. The thought of losing the most faithful companion of The Mystery Gang was hard to accept, but one that needed to be identified. At least, that's what THEY thought . . . Shaggy had always been a little out of the loop, but the three just never realized how MUCH. Nor did they ever see how much SHAGGY being out of the loop had affected THEM. Scooby hadn't been looking the best that past week; he staggered when he walked, was tired when they journeyed by foot for too long, and was far more dormant than he ever had been. Shaggy was always by his side, trying to convince the Great Dane that he should move more, eat more, BE more . . . yet their canine companion was obviously not meant to last much longer. It was the night that Scooby seemed the weakest (despite waking the next morning) that Shaggy proposed the craziest scheme of all: to break into a base hidden in the mountains, supposedly housing some of the greatest technology to exist in the medical sciences. Fred had stayed quiet while Daphne argued the insanity . . . but it was Velma who defended the plan; out of them all it was the girl with the smarts that defended the insane scheme. She couldn't stand losing Scooby, and seeing Shaggy in such hysterics, a pain too fond was what she couldn't bear most. Daphne had turned to Fred, eyes speaking with logic and sense . . . yet his curiosity dug and pulled at him until he gave in . . . he wanted in that base, and they could keep Scooby if they were successful. The plan was in motion, for the next night; they were only a few hours away. Without too much trouble they snuck in, Scooby kept close in the halls as they lifted him to keep the swaying pooch from being lost entirely. The lab they found smelled of disinfectant, and that odd smell that any standard hospital seemed to display. Daphne had gotten them in, Fred had led them through the halls, now it was Velma's turn to work medical magic. The tech in there was beyond their wildest imaginations, but it did little to stop the most intelligent of the group. It took a moment to get the science straight, but the sudden shining light in her eyes was enough to let them know she was more than enthralled; she was soaking the info up like a sponge. It was when Velma started the work on their beloved companion that a scientist got in, stopping at the sight before him. Bewildered and terrified, they had screamed and went for the big red button on the dash of the door controls . . . they never got there, because Shaggy's fatal blow with an IV Pole was enough to stop the commotion. They had never seen the guy like this, had never seen such resolute determination but only thrice . . . and yet there was a distinguished fire in his eyes. Unfazed by the fact he had struck down and killed a person, Shaggy turned to them with monotone eyes, and said in the firmest voice, "I refuse to lose my best friend . . ." The shock was enough to stop them all, but the fact no one did anything after was enough to tell them how deep they were in this. The operation itself was successful, although now the procedure is so often these days that it's lost to subconscious work. The escape in and out has turned into something similar to operating the van . . . and the skin graphs? Well, at first they had used the scientist's skin . . . they had, after all, been nothing but a corpse after Shaggy's attack. After that, not wanting to risk so much suspicion - because, really, it was a MIRACLE they didn't get caught as often anymore - they had started to use their own skin. Graphing it was easy, the pain was a mere reminder of the sacrifice they were making for their closest companion, and it wasn't as bad anymore. Honestly. The only thing that turned their heads anymore was Scooby's newest behaviors . . . It had been years since they first changed the canine to keep him alive . . . but it had only been that month that he had started to act odd. Skin naturally fixed itself, the tail they thought he lost in a recent mystery was somehow back, and the look in his eyes . . . it was disturbing. Blank, yet there was the feeling that something not normal was there . . . just watching and almost seeming to wait. They had sacrificed so much for him, so much for the Great Dane . . . but Fred was starting to wonder whether they had sacrificed TOO much. He wondered if there really was such a thing as giving too much to a friend, doing too much for someone you trusted so much . . . and he feared he may find out in the worst ways. Daphne no longer talked. Velma seemed like a mad scientist, fingers and mind ready for any experiment. Fred always seemed to stare off into the world, eyes void of much emotion. Shaggy was just a complete nutcase at this point, whispering to Scooby as if there was some way he could still respond after losing his voice to the operations. Scooby . . .? Scooby was too different . . . he was something else. Something . . . *Alien.* (That was way longer than I wanted. I'm sorry if it's too much qwq)

The dog had to go. It was a little cruel, but he wasn't helping anyone. In the case of other patients, separated though they were from the 'Mystery Gang," his gurgling wails had a way of carrying that no amount of soundproofing could hide. For the Gang, Scooby Doo did nothing but reinforce their psychoses - the worst case being Shaggy's. The man would speak now, yes, but his paranoia and fits of hallucination - spawned by his own mind or one of the Gang's - grew invariably worse. Freddy was thoroughly convinced Scooby would lead them to mysteries. Any time the dog cowered, there must have been a mystery on their hand - never mind that Scooby, as thoroughly traumatized as an animal could be - was terrified of anything and everyone. Where Freddy was sure there was a mystery, Velma was along for it - and she had to reach the bottom of it, scientifically, which more often than not meant an orderly would walk on eggshells until Velma had picked them apart, piece by piece. Objects that Scooby howled at had to be meticulously deconstructed. It was something of an anxious, running joke that where Freddy could craft a Rube Goldberg machine large enough o span the facility, Velma could dismantle it with nothing more than the broken end of a toothpick. There was also, of course, Daphne. She easily had the worst hallucinations of all of them, particularly when separated. Where the others tended to see things that were alarming by virtue of appearance, Daphne was far more liable to see things that were hurting herself or others. Where she saw a nightmare, the others were always eventually alerted - well. Then it was another mystery. With Scooby's horrifying cries, these only worsened. Not to mention it was cruel to keep the poor thing alive. So - he had to go. The first problem came from Scooby Doo, who normally was obedient or frozen out of simple terror, had a panic attack. The second was one of the nurses had misjudged the dosages needed to keep the Mystery Gang safely sedated until Scooby had been escorted off the premises. The dog's wailing awoke the Gang, and soon enough - there were plenty of monsters to be unmasked, now.
As someone who was obsessed with Scooby Doo as a kid, it's actually confirmed in the Scooby doo lore that he's an alien! That's why he talks and ages like a human.
What if shaggy never had a full group of friends what if his backstory was that he was always very ill and super crazy so his parents decided to get him a dog called scobby and when shaggy grew more older he became insane so he decided to make all these "Friends" up but they were actually just his doctors and every monster was like, depression, anxiety, lack of sleep etc thats why he is always so scared of every monster
Fred flew into a rage screaming at shaggy. "WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS!?" he screamed, tears flowing down his cheeks. "What happened to mysteries!? What happened to us.. What happened to you..?" Shaggy looked back up at Fred, his face as dull as the day he went crazy. "Like beacuse man..." he replied in a monotone voice "You're not in control anymore."
0:40 I think I am so gone that first thing I thought from seeing that was, "eyes dont crunch", let alone the fact that I saw an eye fall and regrow and then see a dog with the sharp version of a frog tongue eat it. NO the first thing that comes to my mind, ya know, the eye has nothing hard in it. Its basically a little water baloon, what are these crunching noises im hearing. As if thats whats wrong with the hole scenario.
I saw a comment that said the title should be, “Scooby-Boo” but unfortunately the first thing I thought about was the theme song but before thinking it in out in my head I said, “Scooby-booby-boo, where are you?”
I like to think that all the mysteries in the shows were just how their minds perceived the own atrocities they committed themselves. or... Their minds warp what’s actually happening, their insanity making them believe they solve and help people with mysteries, when they were they ones who caused the mystery in the first place.
Here’s my small theory about it, it was a normal group of kids who wanted to solve mysteries and fight off monsters, they didn’t have scooby (yet), but when they did, that’s when it all turned to hell, everyone started thinking Shaggy was insane because he kept rambling to the dog, everything was going downhill, the gang split apart when they noticed Shaggy having to stitch up a dog after a horrible incident involving the kids and their van to crash, they survived, scooby though was horribly wounded which lead to Shaggy going nuts, the group agreed to split up after, fred and Daphne still hang out, Velma gone to her studies, but shaggy- Something was off, shaggy stayed with the barely living dog. A few months later they all agreed to meetup with Shaggy again, when they confronted him, he tried to tell the others how good it was back then, and soon enough Shaggy for sure, went butthead nuts and drove the others to insanity with him. okay that’s all
I love the way you captured Velma and Shaggy's slight or even past break of derangement - Velma's hiding it but you can see it being kept on a very loose chain, and Shaggy's already lost it from a subtle distance.

Freddy: A charming boy nextdoor kinda guy, that lures in many female's to his place and "kindly" kills them. Freddy is interested in Dauphine and Velma, because they don't act like the normal type of girls and is stuck in trying to get them to notice him as "The Boy Nextdoor". He uses his blood to create female's, so he can continue to perfect his technique. Dauphine: Is a femme fatale, she lures in all types of men, until the voices that praise her get mad at her and tell her to kill the "uglies" that are ruining her prettiness. Freddy and Shaggy (The Boys) are not affected by her "sweet talk" so she's forced to clam down the voices that tell her that she needs a new man. She's hurt herself to please the voices and amaze those "Boys" of her looks. Velma: She is sociopath, who convinced the jury and the judge that is she is criminally insane. But years of lying and taking medication's, have gotten her confused of her identity, and truly believes that she is insane. Shaggy: Is a cannibal, he'll eat anyone and anything unless they hand over "food" and don't hold him back. The gang let's him do whatever they want, fearing that he'll eat them next. Scooby doo: A reanimated corpse of Shaggy's first meal and best friend. He eats anyone and anything and only listen to Shaggy and whoever Shaggy says is okay to talk to.
Late to the party but love the details. Velma's eyeing Shaggy and seemingly biting her lip, Freddie's looking around daydreaming about where and how he could create new deathtraps, shaggy and scooby and self-explanatory and Daphne's just doing her own thing.
Scooby is canonically an alien- soooo Also, I too would go psycho on anyone who’d try and steal my Great Dane away. Like, have you seen those things? They are sooo sweet and adorable!
This could have been a plot for an episode for all I know, like an evil Mystery INC using there fame to get into places and the real group has to go into hiding and have to deal with both the other group and the police. I kinda like stuff like that
I can imagine there being an actual horror/mystery show in which it takes place in what is now modern times in that universe. With people finally recognizing their mystery solving skills they were kept alive through various inhumane ways. I would love to see something like that come to be

Mystery inc., was made up of a teenage group of friends, who would solve mysteries and battle monsters, always managing to save the day. This was their reality.
They didn't see the white sterile walls as confining. Their meals, always colorful and easy to swallow and the daily check ups from the nurses and doctors were seen as their friends and family.
The hospital had tried everything to get them to escape this dreamland of theirs. They even let the group keep the Great Dane they had found in the same facility they were rescued from as children.
It was medical mystery that the dog was still alive after having a human voice-box implanted. Instead of rejecting the foreign organ, he was able to use it, which would result in this repeated warbled human cry. Even though unsettling to hear for others, the group would find delight in thinking the dog could understand them.
It was a mistake that day for the nurses to try and remove the dog after seeing no progress in their recovery after all these years. The group had always been relativity docile to them, so they were unprepared when suddenly they themselves had turned into the 'monsters'.

Fred just had a knack for strategy and traps, which are both pretty basic skills in human evolution.
Meanwhile, Shaggy can run at the same pace as a Great Dane, which I believe have a top speed higher than Usain Bolt’s, and can occasionally keep that same pace while holding the Great Dane. Not to mention he has come out seemingly unscathed from physical traumas that would kill the average human.
And then the mentioned Great Dane has the ability to speak, only hindered by limited vocabulary and a speech impediment.
And then Velma can not only spot details in crime scenes that are otherwise unnoticeable, but is able to make obscure yet infallible deductions from them.
And then there’s Daphne, who has a seemingly endless array of odd talents that are only explained by her being rich.

I like to think that each of them shows a different kind of madness. (Keep in mind im not a psychiatrist, nor do i have any REAL idea what im talking about. im just reading their body language and faces)
Fred's is a docile madness. He is very calm and amicable in every action he takes, including the violent ones. He'd be the one humming a cheery tune as he caved someone's head in.
Velma's is a deranged madness. Her actions may have meaning to them, but she's the only one that makes sense of that meaning. She'd be the one ranting about "voices in the walls" and "shadows in the spaces."
Daphne's is a maniacal madness. She acts upon every impulse because she wants to, or simply because she can. She'd be the one who'd stab someone in the throat because she "didn't like their face".
Shaggy's is a quiet madness. He keeps mostly to himself, but every action he does is centered around himself and Scooby. He'd be the one in the corner whispering to himself and Scooby.
And Scooby's is a blank madness. There's no real reason to his actions, save if Shaggy asked him to do something. He'd be the one to stare blankly ahead until Shaggy said something, to which he'd then focus on you before charging full speed, not showing a single emotion.
Velma: “The walls seem to be talkative today, something about the nurses…”
Daphne: “Hmm, anything about that one?~” *She points at a lifeless body on the ground as she drops a syringe she’d driven into the side of the nurse* “They were particularly annoying.”

Technically I remember that the Scooby Doo had some *intense* episodes with *legitemate* monsters and aliens, in addition there was the Scooby and his family scrappy; and other relatives that are all canines that gained the ability to speak human language(!)
There was one episode that scared the heck out of me as a kid... I think it was from one of the Mystery Incorporated episodes... It was of a person pretending to be a witch (I think) and the mask was just terrifying. Of course, they had to put a little jumpscare and of course, me being me, got scared out of my wits and screamed.
I remember there being a lot of intense episodes in Mystery Inc. But the final two espisode had to be the most darkest episodes i watched as a kid. Im gonna try to spoil what happen to thous who hadnt watched it, but it pretty much left me scarred as a child.
I imagine that the "Mystery Machine" was really a Gurney that they decorated with colored paper, painted cardboard, stickers, etc. that they found and Freddy would just push them around thinking he was driving...

is it bad shaggy has always ,in my mind, been delusional and Scooby was just a dog his parents got to keep his sanity under control so dey didn't die. and all the people the "gang" unmasked were just each time shaggy lost control and hallucinated. or, if the gang did exist, they were toxic friends and they fed shag's problems for amusement. his unusual eating habits are just him trying to explain his problems to people, and they don't understand and usually are confused at his strange way of explaining things, and most avoid him, hence him staying with his toxic friends. they just don't understand the severity of his conditions, and they pretend not to care.

The mentally ill bunch that evades the law by traveling so far they can never be remembered in any one place makes the most sense. They live in a van, never tell anyone where they come from, usually leave just as the police get involved (when the baddie gets arrested at the end), seem to take great pleasure in sending people off to jail regardless of whatever the goal of the fake hauntings were, are obsessed with ghosts, I mean, they think the dog they own is sentient and that he talks to them. Even if they weren’t insane at the start of their adventures they definitely would’ve experienced a rapid deterioration in mental health after all the times they’ve been chased by strange people down dark, narrow hallways.

God damn, this a scary image/concept. I know of an anime that tried playing with this idea of "world around them isn't as they seem, because 1 or more characters, are actually delusional" and it just flopped. But this! This image, scooby gang or not, is a terrifying. All the scars, straps, and implications with all the blood but the scariest part is the clothes! How they found their iconic clothes as they're walking out a hospital that, i'm assuming, exclusively provided their "original" all white wardrobe. THAT'S FUCKIN TERRIFYING! Velma's hand looks mangled and yet, fuckin fred looks so peaceful walking out of the place still attached to his IV (figuratively or literally, idk) and fucking shaggy looks the scariest because,,,,,just,,,,just look at him! Meme all you want, he's whispering to a dog after the gang just did what they did, while just walking out. Those criss cross stitches are intimidating to such a high degree. that was a great call; i know people say "an image tells a thousands words" but this thing writes a whole novel. Amazing job with the silhouette, clothing choice, pose. The whole thing is terrifying and i love it

And it continues. The poor teens continue their penniless stories in hopes of persuading their nurses, psychiatrists, and even the doctors who pass by their doors. It’s been a couple of months ever since they were forcefully ripped apart from their beautiful and giant Great Dane, Scooby, mentally and physically.
They weren’t the greatest of patients but they were something out of the ordinary, strangely. I was surprised myself when their escape was planned out successfully, and in the end busted through the system. Unfortunately, their psyche, emotionally scarred, broke and so did they when police counted the bodies.
I know this because I experienced their shattered mentality first hand, cornered in a dark forsaken hallway, and threatened in a menacing tone.
Freddy, or Fred, was the mastermind with the knowledge of their almost persuasive stories. He was the master of traps and had probably thought of an escape during his time here, alone and wasting slowly away... he knew he had to get out with his friends right by his side, especially Scooby. He called his little posse, Mystery Inc. and sometimes the Mystery Gang, which I thought was cute.
Then there was Velma, the gang’s brainiac and who was probably the most involved with the escape plan, while Daphne had been their excellent ‘damsel in distress’. She wasn’t much of a damsel in distress because of the way her mentality had destroyed her own body. Her hand has literally seen hell and continues to remind me about her. Velma wasn’t looking too good with those scars on her thighs.. in fact, they all had them, which in my head lead me to think of them as some mystery cult.
I also can’t forget about Shaggy. I pitied him the most. When I first met him, I felt as his soul had left his body before I had even stepped into his room. He had told me the same stories the rest of the broken friends had said, but his were more of the cherished moments he had with his best friend, Scooby. In fact, he had told me so much about how the gang relied a lot on Scooby and how much they were emotionally attached to the dog. I had concluded then and there that each friend had a missing piece within themselves, and with the amount of time they had been by themselves, locked away in white as snow rooms is showing their true colors.
It had been clear to me, when I had been cornered by the gang that fateful night that meddling with their dog was not a good idea from the start. Freddy’s high but manly voice continues to haunt me to this day.

In general I really like this concept a lot! The many scars on the entire gang make me think more about where the beginning of this video was going, though. Instead of being patients of a mental institution, it instead looks like they had been using the very mysteries they busted along with medical treatments to preserve their age from the show's beginning to now. The only way a group of teenagers would be able to still look the way they did decades ago in a world like this could involve something mystical and medical, and this image shows them leaving with a secret to keep. They are anything but natural, and the world doesn't get to know why. They only get to feel how offset the people in a room become when this gang's around.
*Also, I just want to say I think Daphne's hand is the wrong way around. Just a small inconsistency I noticed, but otherwise very good!

The bond between man and dog was one unbreakable. One untouched by anything other than death, and even then death could never truly break the bond. Shaggy and Scooby had always been a rooted part of this since the very beginning, since that first moment between them. The two would do anything for one another, and when the rest of the Gang was there, there was nothing any of them COULDN'T do . . . and that's always where the problem started.
Scooby was always destined to live shorter than the rest of them. Dogs weren't meant to live long, by nature's elegant rules. They were meant to remind us of joy and happiness amongst a world of longing and despair, a world falling so quickly to everything within it. Shaggy, the poor guy, had always resented the idea of Scooby's timely demise, disregarded the thought of losing his best friend. EVER. It was the hardest thing to get him to understand, the hardest thing to ever have to do. The thought of losing the most faithful companion of The Mystery Gang was hard to accept, but one that needed to be identified. At least, that's what THEY thought . . . Shaggy had always been a little out of the loop, but the three just never realized how MUCH. Nor did they ever see how much SHAGGY being out of the loop had affected THEM.
Scooby hadn't been looking the best that past week; he staggered when he walked, was tired when they journeyed by foot for too long, and was far more dormant than he ever had been. Shaggy was always by his side, trying to convince the Great Dane that he should move more, eat more, BE more . . . yet their canine companion was obviously not meant to last much longer. It was the night that Scooby seemed the weakest (despite waking the next morning) that Shaggy proposed the craziest scheme of all: to break into a base hidden in the mountains, supposedly housing some of the greatest technology to exist in the medical sciences. Fred had stayed quiet while Daphne argued the insanity . . . but it was Velma who defended the plan; out of them all it was the girl with the smarts that defended the insane scheme. She couldn't stand losing Scooby, and seeing Shaggy in such hysterics, a pain too fond was what she couldn't bear most.
Daphne had turned to Fred, eyes speaking with logic and sense . . . yet his curiosity dug and pulled at him until he gave in . . . he wanted in that base, and they could keep Scooby if they were successful. The plan was in motion, for the next night; they were only a few hours away. Without too much trouble they snuck in, Scooby kept close in the halls as they lifted him to keep the swaying pooch from being lost entirely. The lab they found smelled of disinfectant, and that odd smell that any standard hospital seemed to display. Daphne had gotten them in, Fred had led them through the halls, now it was Velma's turn to work medical magic. The tech in there was beyond their wildest imaginations, but it did little to stop the most intelligent of the group. It took a moment to get the science straight, but the sudden shining light in her eyes was enough to let them know she was more than enthralled; she was soaking the info up like a sponge.
It was when Velma started the work on their beloved companion that a scientist got in, stopping at the sight before him. Bewildered and terrified, they had screamed and went for the big red button on the dash of the door controls . . . they never got there, because Shaggy's fatal blow with an IV Pole was enough to stop the commotion. They had never seen the guy like this, had never seen such resolute determination but only thrice . . . and yet there was a distinguished fire in his eyes. Unfazed by the fact he had struck down and killed a person, Shaggy turned to them with monotone eyes, and said in the firmest voice, "I refuse to lose my best friend . . ."
The shock was enough to stop them all, but the fact no one did anything after was enough to tell them how deep they were in this. The operation itself was successful, although now the procedure is so often these days that it's lost to subconscious work. The escape in and out has turned into something similar to operating the van . . . and the skin graphs? Well, at first they had used the scientist's skin . . . they had, after all, been nothing but a corpse after Shaggy's attack. After that, not wanting to risk so much suspicion - because, really, it was a MIRACLE they didn't get caught as often anymore - they had started to use their own skin. Graphing it was easy, the pain was a mere reminder of the sacrifice they were making for their closest companion, and it wasn't as bad anymore. Honestly. The only thing that turned their heads anymore was Scooby's newest behaviors . . .
It had been years since they first changed the canine to keep him alive . . . but it had only been that month that he had started to act odd. Skin naturally fixed itself, the tail they thought he lost in a recent mystery was somehow back, and the look in his eyes . . . it was disturbing. Blank, yet there was the feeling that something not normal was there . . . just watching and almost seeming to wait. They had sacrificed so much for him, so much for the Great Dane . . . but Fred was starting to wonder whether they had sacrificed TOO much. He wondered if there really was such a thing as giving too much to a friend, doing too much for someone you trusted so much . . . and he feared he may find out in the worst ways.
Daphne no longer talked. Velma seemed like a mad scientist, fingers and mind ready for any experiment. Fred always seemed to stare off into the world, eyes void of much emotion. Shaggy was just a complete nutcase at this point, whispering to Scooby as if there was some way he could still respond after losing his voice to the operations. Scooby . . .?
Scooby was too different . . . he was something else. Something . . .

The dog had to go.
It was a little cruel, but he wasn't helping anyone. In the case of other patients, separated though they were from the 'Mystery Gang," his gurgling wails had a way of carrying that no amount of soundproofing could hide. For the Gang, Scooby Doo did nothing but reinforce their psychoses - the worst case being Shaggy's. The man would speak now, yes, but his paranoia and fits of hallucination - spawned by his own mind or one of the Gang's - grew invariably worse.
Freddy was thoroughly convinced Scooby would lead them to mysteries. Any time the dog cowered, there must have been a mystery on their hand - never mind that Scooby, as thoroughly traumatized as an animal could be - was terrified of anything and everyone.
Where Freddy was sure there was a mystery, Velma was along for it - and she had to reach the bottom of it, scientifically, which more often than not meant an orderly would walk on eggshells until Velma had picked them apart, piece by piece. Objects that Scooby howled at had to be meticulously deconstructed. It was something of an anxious, running joke that where Freddy could craft a Rube Goldberg machine large enough o span the facility, Velma could dismantle it with nothing more than the broken end of a toothpick.
There was also, of course, Daphne. She easily had the worst hallucinations of all of them, particularly when separated. Where the others tended to see things that were alarming by virtue of appearance, Daphne was far more liable to see things that were hurting herself or others. Where she saw a nightmare, the others were always eventually alerted - well. Then it was another mystery. With Scooby's horrifying cries, these only worsened.
Not to mention it was cruel to keep the poor thing alive.
So - he had to go.
The first problem came from Scooby Doo, who normally was obedient or frozen out of simple terror, had a panic attack.
The second was one of the nurses had misjudged the dosages needed to keep the Mystery Gang safely sedated until Scooby had been escorted off the premises. The dog's wailing awoke the Gang, and soon enough - there were plenty of monsters to be unmasked, now.

What if shaggy never had a full group of friends what if his backstory was that he was always very ill and super crazy so his parents decided to get him a dog called scobby and when shaggy grew more older he became insane so he decided to make all these "Friends" up but they were actually just his doctors and every monster was like, depression, anxiety, lack of sleep etc thats why he is always so scared of every monster

Here’s my small theory about it, it was a normal group of kids who wanted to solve mysteries and fight off monsters, they didn’t have scooby (yet), but when they did, that’s when it all turned to hell, everyone started thinking Shaggy was insane because he kept rambling to the dog, everything was going downhill, the gang split apart when they noticed Shaggy having to stitch up a dog after a horrible incident involving the kids and their van to crash, they survived, scooby though was horribly wounded which lead to Shaggy going nuts, the group agreed to split up after, fred and Daphne still hang out, Velma gone to her studies, but shaggy- Something was off, shaggy stayed with the barely living dog.
A few months later they all agreed to meetup with Shaggy again, when they confronted him, he tried to tell the others how good it was back then, and soon enough Shaggy for sure, went butthead nuts and drove the others to insanity with him.

I love the way you captured Velma and Shaggy's slight or even past break of derangement - Velma's hiding it but you can see it being kept on a very loose chain, and Shaggy's already lost it from a subtle distance.

Freddy: A charming boy nextdoor kinda guy, that lures in many female's to his place and "kindly" kills them. Freddy is interested in Dauphine and Velma, because they don't act like the normal type of girls and is stuck in trying to get them to notice him as "The Boy Nextdoor". He uses his blood to create female's, so he can continue to perfect his technique.
Dauphine: Is a femme fatale, she lures in all types of men, until the voices that praise her get mad at her and tell her to kill the "uglies" that are ruining her prettiness. Freddy and Shaggy (The Boys) are not affected by her "sweet talk" so she's forced to clam down the voices that tell her that she needs a new man. She's hurt herself to please the voices and amaze those "Boys" of her looks.
Velma: She is sociopath, who convinced the jury and the judge that is she is criminally insane. But years of lying and taking medication's, have gotten her confused of her identity, and truly believes that she is insane.
Shaggy: Is a cannibal, he'll eat anyone and anything unless they hand over "food" and don't hold him back. The gang let's him do whatever they want, fearing that he'll eat them next.
Scooby doo: A reanimated corpse of Shaggy's first meal and best friend. He eats anyone and anything and only listen to Shaggy and whoever Shaggy says is okay to talk to.
