Been installing matten filters on my tanks this summer... looked around mid-video and thought: "Dang it, they got me!" Big filter is everywhere over here. At least one wall of every tank.
I created my fish tank w/ 6 Otos & 5 orange cherry shrimp. I could not find a matten filter & since we have bacteria that produce H2S in anoxic conditions here, I put in the under gravel filter. Like when I tried fish tanks before, I am getting a bacterial bloom that seems never ending. In the past some people suggested b/c I clean w/ rubbing alcohol a lot, that might stimulate the growth of bacteria (like "Carbon dosing" in saltwater aquariums). Other people suggested I just have nasty spores in the air where in my apartment. Testing the water says 0ppm Ammonia, 0ppm Nitrite 0ppm Nitrate, like in the past, probably b/c the super fast multiplying bacteria used it up fast. I put in plants that grow w/ their leaves above the water line, so the white slime can't kill them & I'm doing about 20% water changes every day or 2. Only 1 of the Otos looks pale & stressed so far. I can't really see the shrimp thru the milky water, so IDK how they are doing.

I'm sure he has plenty to say about the aqeon and it's little 1/2" strip of chemical foam awesomeness. Honestly, I love that filter, but that's just hilarious.

Those “green pills” would get pretty expensive pretty quick.
I am not a conspiracy theorist at all, but I did buy a tank light in store with cash as a impulse buy with not even researching it online, that once I installed the app to control the light I started seeing ads for that brand on my social media and in my junk folder in my email. So I think there is some truth that apps do spy. When installing the app it said it needed permission to access contacts, pictures, phone ect....why the hell would a fish tank light app need access to that to turn a light off and on.....
Considering the amount of “conspiracy theories” that have turned out to be 100% true, I’m not sure I would be mocking “conspiracy theory southerners”
