- The Traka gravel race is Europe’s equivalent to Unbound in North America. Riders tackle gravel roads in 50, 100, 200, 360, and 560km distances.
In the first of two videos from Traka 2024, Felix and Liam have been on the ground in Girona searching out some of the hottest, most interesting, and wildest bike setups designed for conquering this brutal event.
Which of the bikes is your favourite? Are there any bikes that we missed? Let us know in the comments!
Remember to look out for our second roundup of bikes.

Titici and standert is awesome👍🏻
Yes they are. I bought The new Rose Backroad FF great Bike for a good Price 8,1 KG in size 57 with SRAM Force and Carbon Wheels for 5k€
last one is insane! good stuff guys
One of the most entertaining race bike reports. Honest expectations by the riders, reasonable spec’s and realistic bike weights, perfect! Do you cover the race itself too?
Can‘t wait for part 2! Would love to see you keeping this format in your (race coverage) rotation.
Thanks so much! We love making these videos. We have finish lime action from the 200km race coming in part 2 👍
can't wait for part 2
We can't wait to show you! Thanks for watching, from all at BikeRadar.
Team Amani 💪
That factor is really cool!
Standert😍😍😍
I feel cheated by the thumbnail! All that lovely carbon, and not a single bit is on fire. I am disappoint... 😏
😩🤣🤣
Go Karaya!
Standart Kettensäge..is pronounced like cat'n'säge and säge is a saw oder chainsaw, so the cat with the chainsaw is a funny denglish word
Which is your favourite of these 4 bikes? 👇
Dora the Explorer! 💜 perfect setup for tougher races
That factor🔥
It's the Factor for sure!
Standert! 🇩🇪
Factor 🔥🥰
Is the seatpost on the Titici reversable?
Dora the Explora looks super. Aerodynamic design that can handle 2,25" tyres.
What's fascinating to me over and over on all the recent gear check vids from gravel races is how big gap there is between the tire size hype and the reality in the actual races. How many guys have you seen running 50s...? Yeah, thought so. I'm genuinely interested to know why racers are not preaching the "wide all the things" gospel and not riding the widest stuff they can. This time I can understand the mud argument, but it's the same in dry races as well.
I ride gravel for fun and race as well and I have two sets of wheels - 50s and 38s. So I have my own experiences and opinions on this. Not planning to force them people's throats here, I just want to know why those who have the most money to spend on gear and most expertise in their teams simply do not go crazy on tire width as the current interwebz trends dictate.
What does UDH mean or refer to?
Universal Derailleur Hanger, standard hanger developed by sram
9.7kg is light for a aluminum gravel bike. 😮
Uuhhh aluminum bike 😢
that frame bag is terrible on the 3t, someone make her a custom one that actually fits, and get rid of all the straps. low hanging fruit for sure
Watt Wagon rides On Dora..
who cares what seer rides, tomatoes or potatoes
lol
it's not Kettensaga
it's Kettensäge
let google translator read it for you :)
Get to the gym,😆💪💪💪
I've heard all about Liam's winter training plans (there's lots of gym time 😅) thanks for watching - Felix
Weighing a fully loaded bike, just why?
Because there’s a relevance between all of the bikes.
Because that is how they are riding it.
Hi bro!
I have thoroughly analyzed all the videos of your TH-cam channel. Every video of yours is very good and beautiful! But your channel every video is not SEO properly, if every video of your is SEO then subscription, view will increase quickly.
Can i assist you in making your channel better?
Thank you.
Weighing bikes with water bottles and bags on will never be very informative.... And when the only bike of the video comes without bottles, then you skip the weigh-in?🤷♂
Unfortunately we didn't get much time to talk with Kenneth, he had a pizza to eat!
