What you'll like about the Figo:
• Robust build and construction
• Interiors more comfortable than chief competitors i10 & Swift
• 1.4 Diesel's proven driveability and fuel efficiency. No turbo lag
• The Ford Figo's mature big-car-like ride quality
• Ford's DNA in the on-road behavior and quick steering
• Class-topping 284-liter boot space
What you won't:
• Lacks the modernity of recently launched hatchbacks
• Both of the engines in Figo are lacking in outright performance. Neither engine can exploit the car's dynamics
• No true top-end variant (tilt adjustable steering, rear power windows, MID etc.)
• Average backseat legroom. Not in the league of, say, an Indica Vista
• Ford's sub-par dealership experience

Paaji, One thing I would like to say again which you also mentioned. The drivability of this car is simply amazing. If you drive sedately, you will not feel the need to exert the car a lot and will definitely feel very less stressed while driving.
Secondly, this combined with good handling and low GC makes it a very good overall package in terms of drivability.
It is sad to see cars like this not getting enough recognition back in the day.
While I agree the Fiat 1.3 DDIS was a legendary engine, a car needs more things than just an engine.
A 2013 Swift VDi in good condition still commands a value of 3-4 lakhs in the used car market.
While these gems sell for peanuts. Good for those who understand the value of these cars.
I myself am in the mood for getting the OG Ford Endeavour for my village. Will get it at a price a little bit more than the swift of same age 😛
My first car ❤, 2013 model. Still going very good after 75k kms. Only replaced a gear cable once. No other issues till date. What a solid product. Thank you so much for bringing this car on the channel.
I was a privileged owner of this vehicle but unfortunately had to scrap it in Delhi due to the draconian rules. It was impeccable after having run 95k , still like new. Couldn't find anything else that could match it's build and performance, settled with a jazz automatic, it's good too but Figo had its own charm and feel.People who can keep the Figo diesel should enjoy it as long as they can.
Next time scrap me do tab muje bta dena.. i will buy.
I purchased second hand ford figo 2011 titanium petrol on march 2023, same color 😊
Very happy with my purchase.
Only problem is, it feels underpower when AC is ON and mileage is about 10-11 kmpl in city. But I don't have much daily running , so its ok for me.
Best to buy for those, who need a car for occasionally use for going to hometown and party.
Polo diesel 110 hp & 250 NM
Figo diesel 100 hp & 215 NM
I tried both these cars back-to-back one day in 2016, I felt Figo slightly quicker than Polo, may be because of its light weight
Both AMAZING cars!!!
Why they were launched ahead of time ... the best time to launch both cars was after Corona... but sadly they were discontinued after Corona ... Indian car market started maturing after 2021... We need these cars back again!!!
lightness factor itna nhi hai... i'll the figo diesel engine is very tractible. turbo lag naam ka chiz hi nhi hai.. shor thoda zyada hai tdi ke hisab se esp with ac.

great owners perspective of this old FIGO . my first deisel car drive was in this car. only complain at that time was car does not pick in 2nd gear like it is in WAGONR (LOW KNOWLEDGE of TURBO at that age ). else good comfort in rear seat also.

Paji delhi di figo mildi 2014 model dealer tou 2 lakhs, don't have any knowledge of cars , is it wise to buy car will be used in highways moat of the time. Is it worth buying or what would be fair price .

Its good actually but the only issue are the injectors. It needs to be replaced after every 30-40k km and it costs about 64k for all injectors especially the Continental Piezo injectors.

It is excellent. Baljeet ji service head hain, very genuine person & I have no issues in this last 10 years. Tusi mera naa le dya karna Baljeet ji nu. Koi issue ni hoega kadi vi.

Ford Figo ke yai condition dekh kai mujhe ko hairani nahi hai kyo kyi mere bhai ke paaa khud 2010 Endeavour hai Second hand bought in 2016 with almost 1.6-1.7lakh km on clock aur aabhe tak usne 500K( Mainly due to covid) km ke aas paas tak sath de diya hai
my first car is also a Ford.. Ford freestyle 2018. absolutely brilliant car imo
now if i have that question to change the car, i don't see any good alternatives under 15L.. even if they are there i have to settle for mid or low variants

Bhai injectors se seriously taang aa chuka hu mai. Kitni baar badalna padd raha hai. Har baar car shuru krne se pehle tension rehti hai ki knocking na aajaye. Thakk Chuka hi seriously

Ye Figo 10 saal purani, 60k kms , used car, Ford India mein nahi. I don't think ye 2 lakh se upar bhi bikegi. Max 1.75 lakh, kuchh log isko 1.5 lakh ki bhi bolenge. Even if the car is good (no doubt) but the market is brutal, they don't care for your love of cars.

@rs5829 - visit the second hand car market, and u will notice it is not being sold below 2.5. In recent years, the prices of 2nd hand cars have gone up substantially
@@sumansatan1669I purchased 2010 TDCi for 1.2 lakh. Odo 130k. Problems- I changed injectors twice which cost me around 16k for 1. Now it's demanding me for a third injector replacement, car is knocking so badly.

This Figo scored zero with stable bodyshell. Got zero because to get stars, airbags are mandatory. No airbags automatically become Zero even if it is a Bugatti. 2nd gen was flimsy & hence got 3 stars.

Sometimes a single dent removal means whole part needs to be painted. There can be a budget issue or time issues. Don’t judge ppl like that.
