Dieselducy Revisits his first McDonalds

I can't do that. The 1st McDonalds I ever ate in was built in 1967, and I ate there in 1975. It was demolished a few years ago, because it wasn't handicap-friendly (ultra-steep ramps, and hill configuration), the land was regraded, and in it's place, sits one of the "McCafe"-style ones.
It's still a special place, because that new style of "Mickey D's", was the very 1st one ever built in Massachusetts.

Back where I used to live in Washington there was a McDonalds that looked like it hadn't been updated since the mid 1950s. It was awesome.

Pretty much every single Macdonalds in the UK has been modernised (all the ones I've seen anyway). Strange that they spend more money on them over here, but I guess there are no where near as many over here since we are a tiny little island.
