Leica did a great job right there. I blame xiaomi if it didn’t turn out good as expected🤣. The front selfie video was so good and 13T excels very well in some scenarios. İ’m impressed.

Well for the price, Xiaomi did great job. I mean 13T Pro is is 500-600e cheaper than other two (depending on the region). Regular 13T is even better deal, here in Serbia with launch discount its around 510-520e which is a steal. But if they want to compete or even beat the Samsung or Apple they need to step up even more with their "true" flagships. Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were(are) steps in right direction, i argue regular 13 is better deal than vanila S23 or any non-pro Iphone, they even got 4 years of android updates with this T series. But still something more from 14, 14 pro and ultra, potential is there.
Most midrange phones today do come kinda close on main cam to flagships, in good light photos, especially seen on half of small youtube video screen, again watched through some cheap monitor that doesnt translate colors/resolution too well anyway. Still, I take my old S21 Ultra and compare it to my new 13T Pro and S21U is a bit better on main cam than 13T Pro, and totally kills it on all other cameras, not to mention zoom is uncomparably better on S21U. 13T Pro is a good deal, but its not a Mercedes, not even a 3 year old one, it's still just a new Volkswagen Golf. I also hate that neither this or there resolution of 1220p which doesnt look good for 1080 video neither for 1440p video, but they "optimised". Of course you pay 2X for extra 20% performance when you come to premium segment, same is true with cars, guitars, computers, tennis shoes. But if you want the best, that's it 🤷♂️

Please compare the 13T Pro and the new iPhone with the 13 Ultra. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra like the S23 Ultra, probably has one of the strongest camera setups out there right now so it would be interesting how it stacks up to the newer phones like the two in this one and also the coming Pixel 8 Pro.

The difference makes reseller price. Most of the time you get nearly the same price back. I bought my iPhone 12 for 660€ and sold it after 1 year with 600€. I doubt that the other smartphones losing only 10% per year. Last year I tested many phones and sometimes gained money. A good prices iPhone can be sold maybe for the same price a year later. Even completely damaged iPhones, all sides smashed and electronics can be seen brings a good price. A totally destroyed XR got me last year 280€.

I've watched about 20 review videos of these three phones today, and I say it clearly: the era of the iphone legend is over. You will understand this from the sales figures at the end of the year. Especially when it comes to microphone and camera video stabilization, Xiaomi is very advanced.
No idea what you have been watching, but the iPhone video remains the best (see DXO), and I cannot understand that! Add in the extra video features; if anything, it has stretched the lead the Iphone 14PM had. As for sales, Apple has just ordered 10 million more to satisfy demand, sold out in the UK with Dec now delivery!
It looks like Samsung software has improved over time. Earlier comparison with 14PM was in similar positions back then, and it keeps up with 15 PM again, very close, I would say 50/50.
If anyone could give their suggestion? I am in dilemma to Buy between Xiaomi 13 pro around $650 from Aliexpress, or Samsung S22 ultra refurbished around $550 or Pixel 8 pro which is a bit far from my Budget. But still I would need for the prices to go down. Wanna buy it around Black Friday.

In my country 13T costs 26k with also a xiaomi band, powerbank and a phone holder while iphone 15 pro max costs 80k. 1/3 of the price and what a steal, i think their cameras are on par. S23 Ultra is obviously the best but i dont think 15 pro max are better than 13t pro, especially with its yellowish colors on some photos.
I wonder how zenfone 10 would compare to these phones rn especially when it comes to stabilization, or the Huwei p60 pro. I find Zenfone 10 very underrated.
It's nice to see that MediaTek doesn't suck anymore, even for videos. Also that night shots are fantastic for the price. I'm slightly disappointed with that secondary sensors. No 4k videos 😢 on UW. Also it seems like you cannot shoot 50 MP photos on that 50 MP tele sensor. I actually would have prefered it to have 3x zoom too. Anyway the main sensor is great for the money. Also, as I tested it at my local electronics store today, it seemed like Leica Vibrant was overexposing for some reason. Leica Authentic exposes much better. Maybe it's a bug? Overall, it doesn't seem to perform better than my current Xiaomi 10T Pro. Even at 10x, it shoots slightly sharper shots, without a zoom lens.

As a ex-user of Mi note 10, Mi 10 Pro, i dare say 10T Pro camera is no where as great as this. The 10 series have good size sensor, but capability is well below what the current generation sensors can offer.

All great, for the price, the 13t is very solid, easy choice, I like the selfie video color, and a few of the photos looks almost there with the others, also it has a decent 2x, which in photography is called the standard lens, wonder if they should have done what oppo find x6 pro did, 50mp 3x and 6x crop. iPhone not bad, and it does capture dolby vision like stills on device, much brighter and looks more alive, and 24mp heif really reduces sharpening and a bit more organic looking. Samsung very solid, my wish list for Samsung, 200mp both main and telephoto, essentially doing 1-4x on the main, and 5-20x telephoto, just crop in, 192mp is enough for 4x crop, which is 16x binning, provided the lens can resolve enough details, or by image stacking, and lastly reduce sharpening, let it be more organic.
Same had my since release it's a great phone but isn't the best at everything camera wise. I hoep Samsung can tone down on the overprocessing on photos.

I think that Xiaomi will fix / improve photos in updates and as a result, for a fraction of price we simply have great lens as well as image sensor. don't expect photos to get better, it's rather unlikely to happen also yes, 13t and 13t pro are almost identical; the only real difference is in SoC but not much, and in storage options
Well let me tell you that , you always have gcam option on Xiaomi phones, they capture maybe much snappier shots? Well My redmi phone does. And yes they get a little better with updates
I have the Xiamoi 11T Pro as my second phone alongside the S23U. It's a grest smartphone and a mediocre camera. Also bundled with the most compact high wattage charger I've come across! 120W rapid charge in 17m to 100% and no noticeable battery degradation after 11 months. Also a responsive phone to use with excellent battery life.
I have the 10T Pro and the battery is still perfect after 3.5 years. The phone still feels extremely rapid and is still smooth. It has been rock solid reliable with zero crashes. I'm incredibly impressed to say the least!
It's nice to watch your videos and get a weekly taste of your coastal region of the Med. In 2023, consumers will be fortunate to have a mini PC and camera in their pockets, and one or the other may be slightly better, but we should all be happy either way!
Hello. I kindly ask you to help me in making the following choice between these phones: Poco X6 pro VS Redmi Note 13 pro PLUS VS Motorola 50 Fusion VS Samsung A55. VS I am also opened to Poco F6 as a variant if it would be really worth it in my case. Use case: phone will be used for photos and media consumption (browsing, TH-cam etc); battery and system stability are important. Almost NO gaming on the phone and the number of years of future updates are not important.
Did you took the picture with Leica authentic or Leica vibrant. Because it will be great for me to see the comparaison between Leica authentic and others
Leica vibrant as last time I used authentic and people where up in Arma I should have used vibrant. But even with authentic it has a tendency to still overexpose. Firmware update should fix that.
IPhone shots are too warm and contrast, but it's eye-catching as well as Samsung, but when Samsung pictures are contrasted, tech guys will tell it's unnatural... please leave the verdict to the end users. Both are very good cameras, but in terms of versatility Samsung is the best.
I have that 10X camera on my S23U and find it a gimmick. For video, it is too noisy, and stabilization is awful. It may have something no other OEM has, but it's a one-trick pony and pretty bad at night, even with photos. The iPhone now has better zoom, and I see why Samsung has decided that the gimmicky 10X zoom has run its course and will follow the Pixel and iPhone with a 5X zoom in the S24U.
Also have the Mi 10! (Non pro) Check out some of videos on my channel. All shot with the Mi 10. Still use it for all my travel photography/videography. Only struggles at the light fades though but in good light it produces very usable video. Great camera! Especially decent for video.
I really like Xiaomi 13t pro. It's actually so good for the money. In my country 13t pro 512/12 cost just €550, S23U 256/8 €900, the iPhone is above €1300. No just for the money, Xiaomi 13t pro overall is an excellent phone.
Hi Chris, Aren't iphone photos too warm... for example in selfie photo, your skin tone is a little bit red 2:37 and in the picture in 4:29 the color of the sea is very saturated (dark blue) And Finally in selfie video, your skin tone is too red
With portrait and selfies 100% always too warm yes as I mention in the video. But this year it's a bit different the rear cameras sometimes (Like the shot of the motorcycle) come through with more real colours it did in that shot look at the tone of the sky it was more like that not over saturated blue. This never use to be the case with the older phones.
Don’t forget that iphones has better cameras on instagram, snapchat and other social medias because it is optimised for it, doesn’t loose more than 10% of their value if you want to sell it after a year and doesn’t suddendly lag a lot one or two years later 😉
I actually think the iphone is best for close ups, samsung best for night times and i actually prefer the xiaomi pictures from the main camera during daytime (both video and stills)
Friend please can you help me, I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro and I mainly use it to record concerts, I use it with a gimbal, external microphone, lights. and it records very well, only that I need a cell phone with a telephoto lens to make a better zoom at a distance of 10 to 15 meters. I also use Gcam a lot. I am between buying this Xiaomi 13T Pro or a Realme 12 Pro plus. But my doubt is the processor. I don't know if on this Xioami 13T Pro I can use the mcpro24fps camera applications and the Gcam. since I have always used Snapdragon. greetings ...
Counting the number you say overexposed, I think we know what 13T Pro needs to improve, although to my eyes it's a subtle difference. Anyway, I just saw another reviewer showing that 13T (not Pro) can switch between all 3 lenses in 4K@30fps. Looks like something is off with the Pro. I still prefer Samsung for the low light, iPhone is not that good in suppressing light source. In the stall shot, it's also overexposed, I think 13T Pro is even better there.
It's the camera app it was crashing on 4k30 for the ultrawide which lead me to (mistakenly think it only wanted to work at 1080p). Now today it seems to want to work.
From what I've seen in videos comparing the two models, there is not really too much of a difference and at times, the non-pro version actually seems to show better results.

Thank you, I Absolutely like it, although I in most cases the S23 looked best IMO. But I'm absolutely stunned how good the 13T is in this comparison. I've seen other comparisons with S23 Ultra, where S23 Ultra blows the competition away completely. In your test for instance the motorcycle picture, I think the iPhone looks washed out compared to the other two, and I'm guessing you could have had more correct colors on them, if you had chosen a filter that weighed that more.

I understand people prefer iPhone photos and it's okay. But please don't call them more accurate. It's like looking at your yard the grass and leaves are a bit washed out but put on sunglasses and ohhh how vibrant the grass and colors are. More pleasing but not more accurate.
I think over the 3 Samsung is the better one specially at night and the audio it seem to reduce wind noises pretty well, iphone sounds like shooting with a mic from 2003 😅
Video: The very first video footage has no Models assigned to it. I found this great so you could not find yourself pre-disposed towards your particular favorite. I thought the one to the left is for sure iPhone which does get the white balance and colours right, most of the time. As it has by far the skin-tone, punchier colours and is not overexposed and blurred out like the one on the right. The colour of the shirt is also very much different in all 3 shots. It appears to be green on the left, turquoise in the middle and shifts towards blueish on the right. This is what white balance can do - crazy. I do prefer the one on the far left, as I do believe it might be closest to reality. I was really suprised to learn that the one on the left is actually the Xiaomi. Later on the footage of the soil - the iPhone looks very red-ish to me. Red is a pleasing colour to make i warmer. But is it realistic? I would also like to see a comparison betweeen 13T pro in 10bit Log compared to the competition. It should blow them out of the water, right? Pictures: The Xiaomi is the loser here. Slightly overexposed in daylight and even worse in nighttime shots. And needlessly so, if you consider the sensor is almost a full inch. Would be interesting to learn if it gets any better with the Xiaomi if you manually stop it down in the software. The automatic setting is just not hitting the spot. Mics: The mics sound different, but still are pretty much the same in there hardware quality - just the software approach is different. The reason beeing, that the iPhone cuts of the lower frequencies whereas the Xiaomi leaves it wide open. So you have the choice between "MickeyMouse" vs lots of "wind noise". I would certainly opt for "wind noise", as you can always cut off frequencies in post if you deem it worth your while. But you can not recreate what is not there to begin with.
I did say it sounds the best but the wind noise hurt it the most. What you didn't realise is I was force at times to use audio from the others two phones as the Xiaomi 13T Pro was that bad the wind nosie I couldn't be heard or understood. The shots with no wind 100% The Xiaomi sounded the best as mentioned in the video but facting in the wind noise I can't say in general it's the best. The S23U was better at handling in the wind.

In my country 13T costs 26k with also a xiaomi band, powerbank and a phone holder while iphone 15 pro max costs 80k. 1/3 of the price and what a steal, i think their cameras are on par. S23 Ultra is obviously the best but i dont think 15 pro max are better than 13t pro, especially with its yellowish colors on some photos.

I wonder how zenfone 10 would compare to these phones rn especially when it comes to stabilization, or the Huwei p60 pro. I find Zenfone 10 very underrated.

It's nice to see that MediaTek doesn't suck anymore, even for videos. Also that night shots are fantastic for the price. I'm slightly disappointed with that secondary sensors. No 4k videos 😢 on UW. Also it seems like you cannot shoot 50 MP photos on that 50 MP tele sensor. I actually would have prefered it to have 3x zoom too. Anyway the main sensor is great for the money. Also, as I tested it at my local electronics store today, it seemed like Leica Vibrant was overexposing for some reason. Leica Authentic exposes much better. Maybe it's a bug?
Overall, it doesn't seem to perform better than my current Xiaomi 10T Pro. Even at 10x, it shoots slightly sharper shots, without a zoom lens.
Yes I was just thinking that, it was like it was a qualcomm. Yes 50mp would have been better as 3x I agree and the front and UW only 1080p is typcial Xiaomi. Leica Authentic might be better yes.
As a ex-user of Mi note 10, Mi 10 Pro, i dare say 10T Pro camera is no where as great as this. The 10 series have good size sensor, but capability is well below what the current generation sensors can offer.

All great, for the price, the 13t is very solid, easy choice, I like the selfie video color, and a few of the photos looks almost there with the others, also it has a decent 2x, which in photography is called the standard lens, wonder if they should have done what oppo find x6 pro did, 50mp 3x and 6x crop. iPhone not bad, and it does capture dolby vision like stills on device, much brighter and looks more alive, and 24mp heif really reduces sharpening and a bit more organic looking. Samsung very solid, my wish list for Samsung, 200mp both main and telephoto, essentially doing 1-4x on the main, and 5-20x telephoto, just crop in, 192mp is enough for 4x crop, which is 16x binning, provided the lens can resolve enough details, or by image stacking, and lastly reduce sharpening, let it be more organic.
My wife use iPhone 15 pro Max and i Xiaomi t13 pro. And Xiaomi camera is much better then Iphone camera. Im really shocked how great is this phone. 👍

I think that Xiaomi will fix / improve photos in updates and as a result, for a fraction of price we simply have great lens as well as image sensor. If you like doing photos, I think that 13T is truly great.

I have the Xiamoi 11T Pro as my second phone alongside the S23U. It's a grest smartphone and a mediocre camera. Also bundled with the most compact high wattage charger I've come across! 120W rapid charge in 17m to 100% and no noticeable battery degradation after 11 months. Also a responsive phone to use with excellent battery life.

Leica vibrant as last time I used authentic and people where up in Arma I should have used vibrant. But even with authentic it has a tendency to still overexpose. Firmware update should fix that.

IPhone shots are too warm and contrast, but it's eye-catching as well as Samsung, but when Samsung pictures are contrasted, tech guys will tell it's unnatural... please leave the verdict to the end users. Both are very good cameras, but in terms of versatility Samsung is the best.
I have that 10X camera on my S23U and find it a gimmick. For video, it is too noisy, and stabilization is awful. It may have something no other OEM has, but it's a one-trick pony and pretty bad at night, even with photos. The iPhone now has better zoom, and I see why Samsung has decided that the gimmicky 10X zoom has run its course and will follow the Pixel and iPhone with a 5X zoom in the S24U.

I am still with a xiaomi mi 10 and i dont see any reason to change... pictures in day time and portrait shot are really good
Also have the Mi 10! (Non pro) Check out some of videos on my channel. All shot with the Mi 10. Still use it for all my travel photography/videography. Only struggles at the light fades though but in good light it produces very usable video.

Hi Chris, Aren't iphone photos too warm... for example in selfie photo, your skin tone is a little bit red 2:37
and in the picture in 4:29 the color of the sea is very saturated (dark blue)
And Finally in selfie video, your skin tone is too red
With portrait and selfies 100% always too warm yes as I mention in the video. But this year it's a bit different the rear cameras sometimes (Like the shot of the motorcycle) come through with more real colours it did in that shot look at the tone of the sky it was more like that not over saturated blue. This never use to be the case with the older phones.
Don’t forget that iphones has better cameras on instagram, snapchat and other social medias because it is optimised for it, doesn’t loose more than 10% of their value if you want to sell it after a year and doesn’t suddendly lag a lot one or two years later 😉

Counting the number you say overexposed, I think we know what 13T Pro needs to improve, although to my eyes it's a subtle difference.
Anyway, I just saw another reviewer showing that 13T (not Pro) can switch between all 3 lenses in 4K@30fps. Looks like something is off with the Pro.
I still prefer Samsung for the low light, iPhone is not that good in suppressing light source. In the stall shot, it's also overexposed, I think 13T Pro is even better there.
It's the camera app it was crashing on 4k30 for the ultrawide which lead me to (mistakenly think it only wanted to work at 1080p). Now today it seems to want to work.

From what I've seen in videos comparing the two models, there is not really too much of a difference and at times, the non-pro version actually seems to show better results.
Agree. 13T seems to overexpose less in photos. At least according to one comparison I watched. I really think 13T is the more interesting phone of the two given the cheaper price. @@zenqada

But I'm absolutely stunned how good the 13T is in this comparison. I've seen other comparisons with S23 Ultra, where S23 Ultra blows the competition away completely. In your test for instance the motorcycle picture, I think the iPhone looks washed out compared to the other two, and I'm guessing you could have had more correct colors on them, if you had chosen a filter that weighed that more.

I understand people prefer iPhone photos and it's okay. But please don't call them more accurate. It's like looking at your yard the grass and leaves are a bit washed out but put on sunglasses and ohhh how vibrant the grass and colors are. More pleasing but not more accurate.

I think over the 3 Samsung is the better one specially at night and the audio it seem to reduce wind noises pretty well, iphone sounds like shooting with a mic from 2003 😅

The very first video footage has no Models assigned to it. I found this great so you could not find yourself pre-disposed towards your particular favorite. I thought the one to the left is for sure iPhone which does get the white balance and colours right, most of the time. As it has by far the skin-tone, punchier colours and is not overexposed and blurred out like the one on the right. The colour of the shirt is also very much different in all 3 shots. It appears to be green on the left, turquoise in the middle and shifts towards blueish on the right. This is what white balance can do - crazy. I do prefer the one on the far left, as I do believe it might be closest to reality. I was really suprised to learn that the one on the left is actually the Xiaomi.
Later on the footage of the soil - the iPhone looks very red-ish to me. Red is a pleasing colour to make i warmer. But is it realistic?
I would also like to see a comparison betweeen 13T pro in 10bit Log compared to the competition. It should blow them out of the water, right?

The Xiaomi is the loser here. Slightly overexposed in daylight and even worse in nighttime shots. And needlessly so, if you consider the sensor is almost a full inch.
Would be interesting to learn if it gets any better with the Xiaomi if you manually stop it down in the software. The automatic setting is just not hitting the spot.
Mics:
The mics sound different, but still are pretty much the same in there hardware quality - just the software approach is different. The reason beeing, that the iPhone cuts of the lower frequencies whereas the Xiaomi leaves it wide open. So you have the choice between "MickeyMouse" vs lots of "wind noise". I would certainly opt for "wind noise", as you can always cut off frequencies in post if you deem it worth your while. But you can not recreate what is not there to begin with.
The Samsung had the best audio??😮...... It was clearly the Xiaomi 13T Pro😊
I did say it sounds the best but the wind noise hurt it the most. What you didn't realise is I was force at times to use audio from the others two phones as the Xiaomi 13T Pro was that bad the wind nosie I couldn't be heard or understood. The shots with no wind 100% The Xiaomi sounded the best as mentioned in the video but facting in the wind noise I can't say in general it's the best. The S23U was better at handling in the wind.
