No one who smiles as much and as broadly and sincerely as you is actually unhappy. You're just wondering if your, seeming, bad luck with dating is weird or unusual. The other side of the coin is you haven't had any horrid, scary, creepy, or just not worth the time dates. Life is NOT about coupling up - it's about living your best life. A lot of insecure people feel attacked when people who are doing better than they are share their lives, it's just them projecting their insecurities and coping. It's easy to attack people through the internet but the fact is you're the one putting yourself out there while they just troll, so don't take anything they say personally. I also hope that weirdo doesn't put you off Zen Buddhism which is actually a really great philosophy about not trying to control the things beyond your control.
