We'd love to hear your thoughts, especially on being an LGBTQ parent! Do you want kids? Or do you have kids? Do or did you have some of the same concerns? Looking forward to your discussions, as always! Thanks for watching, lovely people!
I want kids as a lgtbq parent but i never really thought about your concerns. I'm super young though an have easily 9+ years until I have any though. So hopefully by then it will be more accepted and I won't even have to think about those.
I have 2 kids with my wife ... and what I learned so fare is that all my pre-kids concerns was unnecessary. People generally don’t care that much if you are queer parents (as long as you are genuine and kind) if you do not present them with the option to question your family setup. Family is family, and people generally worry most about their own. I am sure your gonna be great at it, and don’t wait to long you need your young energy with small kids ;-)
I am a parent with my wife. We fostered kids with the intention to adopt. We had our heart broken a couple of times by kids that ended up with family. Would not change it because the love is the point. We eventually fostered a newborn who we ended up adopting a year later. She is now 15 and perfect. It does change your lifestyle but worth it.
Have you considered being foster parents? A good way to make a difference in a child's life,...and at the same time see what parenting would really be like?
That's a good idea, it would feel more natural, especially for official couple photo's when the photographer sometimes gives instructions on how to pose etc
My wife and I have one son who autistic but his the best thing we ever did. We didnt use a clinic as its illegal for doctors to help same sex couples in france so we found a donor on a online site and did the insemination ourselves at home got lucky it worked on 3rd try. Didnt cost us a thing. We have never had a problem when out as a family and we both look obvious gay. I came out as trans and started transitioning now and we told the school about our family set up and they have been very supportive. I think we tend to worry more than we need to b4 hand sometimes. Our son will be 5 in March.
my parents are best friends, and they are basically in a queer platonic relationship (I’m going to be doing a presentation on this in my lesbian literatures class @ uni). I wouldn’t have it any other way! :)
What do you each do for work? I know Lillian got a masters within psychology (which I’m doing to) so I’m very interested. And what are both of your future career aspirations
Oof, you got inspired by 'open relatiopnships'? Yikes, the internet really influences you way too much. If you think open relationships are looked-down-upon by extremly mature and inclusive people and even life-long LGBT-Allys, for no reason, then think again.
As a South African I can say it is beautiful here. I would recommend you come in the summer to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. They have live concerts in January. I went to see the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra perform live there and it was beautiful. I would say that it is a lovely country to visit but, not necessarily nice to live in given the economic instability, crime and inequality so that should be taken into account. Enjoy your day! :D
Yes people should mind their own business! The only thing that matters is that the child has a loving, caring and nurturing environment! If that’s given it doesn’t even matter how you raise your kid and it’s especially not someone else’s business.
I was quite worried when it was a long time I haven't seen TH-cam. I'm happy your both OK Alexis you look more beautiful than ever. I still have a crush on you
In real life, people who don’t agree with us having kids are mostly silent so you really only hear from people that are supportive. Kids are the best as my son’s friends never blinked an eye and just accept all sorts of family make ups.
The only time people should not create children if they don't have good jobs. Have them the responsible way and doesn't matter what people say as long the child have good and happy life .
We can see you are a bit frustrated with your jobs, but that's totally ok, i mean we know how real life is, and how important it is to have a steady job, even if it is not your main goal in life or your big dream. But it helps you get there. And as long as you are doing what you love during your free time, even as a hobby, having an "average" job is quite good if you can travel once in a while. So, yeah, don't be shy to tell us that! (Btw the wedding photos idea is increadible)
I was married to a man for 16 years, then came out after we had three kids so it was a bit easier for me. I live in Stockholm Sweden so people are very open minded about homosexuality. I have had more questions about how our children have handled the divorce...
Swedish farm? Are you two thinking about following in the footsteps of This Colourful World? Watching a 7 year old SourceFed vid, I was thinking about just how much things had changed. I've gone so deep into a rabbithole of possible trans identity that sometimes, people see a woman in their eyes. While I still create art, work on graphic novel ideas, and hopefully soon get back to blogging, I now create TH-cam content more often, am often solving several logistical puzzles on a busy hospital unit, am thinking about going back to school maybe for a RN degree, and outside Pandemic time. I attend concerts. Even in 2014, I didn't go out to that many shows, and narrowly missed seeing Brandi Carlile (back when she was far less known, and almost every song of her's was a heartbreak/heartache song).
Yaya 🌟, your passion for videos! I am a filmmaker! Let me know if you need any help with techy stuff / finding good classes / figuring out your style 😎. Your friend from Wisio, 💛 Alyssa

Nope, 100% childfree. I can think of nicer things to do in life than raising children :)
The 2 of you are as gorgeous and well matched as ever.
Aww thank you ☺️

Have you considered being foster parents? A good way to make a difference in a child's life,...and at the same time see what parenting would really be like?
you two are getting more and more pretty
Some of the advice given by both of you have lasted and helped so much. You have no idea what difference you both are making :)
That's a good idea, it would feel more natural, especially for official couple photo's when the photographer sometimes gives instructions on how to pose etc

I agree that open relationships can work, however I would say that it is the right amount of good communication.
Yeah "John/Jane is so much better at this than you etc" would not be helpful! : )
I would love to do yoga with Alexis!
Oh yes

There are soo many people that are not capable of being a good parent unfortunately... not just related to having a good job or not.
Alexis you're gorgeous
Lol this is really off topic but could you guys make a video on your guy´s skin care and hair routine please?

Well i hate Valentine's day but i like the content so cool
I tried it once, it most certainly was not for me.
I was married to a man for 16 years, then came out after we had three kids so it was a bit easier for me. I live in Stockholm Sweden so people are very open minded about homosexuality. I have had more questions about how our children have handled the divorce...
We wouldn’t mind yoga tutorials....

My stress killer, big up 🤞🤞so cute
I share similar concerns about being a queer parent. Idk how to teach future kids how to navigate a judgmental society.
what are some signs my friend might be a closeted lesbian?
Great vid, Love you guys more and more, Love your Doggy :)
Dearest Alexis and Lilian: You said you approved of an open relationship? Please address this again.
Yaya 🌟, your passion for videos! I am a filmmaker! Let me know if you need any help with techy stuff / finding good classes / figuring out your style 😎.

Would you like to marry a girl who is romantically attracted but not sexually attracted to you?? By the way your videos are really heart-touching. :)
Wow..alexis really taking good care of Lilian....Lilian you putting up weight...take a look at your cheeks😍😍😍😍😍😍
I have a question. What about Lesbians dating Trans Women, from their perspective. Not all Trans women are into men! 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🌈🦄
BEBE JSABEL TH-cam

BEBE JSABEL TH-cam,
I really wish they had an open relationship so I could dream about being with both of them without feeling guilty about it.
