Hi…first of all thank for up loading the samples. I’m trying to figure out how to use this pedal…I’m relatively new to the bass guitar and want to know if I can use those rocks rhythm patterns with any song (like a metronome) o will not work?. If will not work can you create drum patterns for specific songs?.
Hi, the rhythm patterns are fixed, but you can set their tempo and volume. You can use the BeatBuddy as a stand alone machine, and connect it to a PA system, or you can plug you guitar to it, and then connect the BeatBuddy output to the amp. In this case the BeatBuddy won't change the guitar sound whatsoever, but will add to it the drums, and then pass both to the amp. You can also set the volume separately for the drums. But be aware that your amp (or bass amp) is adjusted to process bass or guitar frequencies, not drum machine. Usually guitar amps compress drum sound and make it somewhat muffled. This is the case with my Boss Katana amp. The sound of the drum machine is still good and usable, but not as good as it sounds in the video. In the video I plugged the BeatBuddy Mini 2 straight to the sound card and recorded it, so it sounds its best.
Hi, I don't know, I guess it can, as I believe all these footswitches work the same. Anyhow, I bough at Aliexpress a cheap footswitch which works just fine with the beatbuddy mini 2. This is the link to aliexpress www.aliexpress.com/item/4000237501260.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.3c101802du2uer
The time signatures are fixed. But there are styles (genres) that include other time signatures, for example, Blues has also 6/8 and 12/8, Brush style has 3/4, 5/4 and 7/8, and other styles also contain a few timings which are not 4/4. There is also an Odd Time style which I haven't covered yet (subscribe to get notified) which contains 5/4, 5/8, 6/8, 7/4, 7/8, 9/4, 9/8.
Thanks for doing that - it’s exactly what I’ve been trying to find while sussing out this pedal!
Good demo!
Thank you!
We use this in my korn cover band
Awesome, thanks...
Glad you liked it!
It’s good 👍 thanks

Its all 4/4....Can you change time signatures? 3/4, 7/8 etc. It's a complete waste of money if you cant alternate time signatures.
