Ja, sie haben Recht. Das Spiel fand am 5.5. 1956 statt. Ich habe noch das Original - Offical Programme, Final TIE, Kick-Off 3 pm, One Shilling von der Football Association Challenge Cup Competition, dazu noch eine Autogrammkarte von unserem deutschen Torwart mit der Signatur "Best Wishes Bert Trautmann".
@@tomace4898🤣🤣🤣you can’t class that as a major trophy, it’s like the Anglo Italian cup or the full members cup. 1955 was the last proper trophy Newcastle won
@@tomace4898 no it wasn’t at the time, I’m sure it was on an invite basis only, nothing like the prestige the uefa cup became. It’s a bit desperate to include that. For a club the size of Newcastle to go 70 years without a MAJOR trophy is terrible
@@spider_hossThey did win the Fairs Trophy in 1969 which was the precursor to the Cup Winners Cup. In the Newcastle side against City that day was one Bob Stokoe, probably more famous for leading us to our win over Leeds in 1973.
Has anyone seen a more brilliant header than Jackie Milburn's first minute goal? If so, I'd like to see it!
Magnifique vidéo J ai aimé aussi l ambiance dans le stade
GOOD DAY. WATCHED THIS VIDEO TOO. ENJOYED. SO, LIKE AND THANKS FROM YOUR SUBSCRIBER. COUNTRY AZERBAIJAN. BAKU CITY.

Feel for Jimmy Meadows. Should have been one of the greatest days of his career. But after that awful injury he never played again.

No trophies since then I believe!
That’s right. This is the last time Newcastle won either the league or the Cup.
