I've had the most success with reporting people on tiktok with this phrasing. They always claim they are slammed and need to hire people lol. Slammed with what, and how will getting somone in your downline help with that?

It's not just misleading, it's a flat out lie. "Misleading" information has at least a hint of truth to it, but that is a solid lie.
Nothing sets me off more than that manifestation stuff.
My mother believed in that stuff back in the 80s and 90s. I was just a kid, so it’s hard to tell, but I’m pretty sure that back then it was incredibly niche and weird.
The church she went to that taught this stuff was tiny and was probably 80% women.
Even as a small child I thought manifestation was ridiculous. I could see that it wasn’t true, but my mother used it to abuse me.
For example, if the car broke down it must be my fault because she was thinking positive thoughts and attracting positive energy towards the car and so was my stepdad and my brother loves cars, so the only person that could have been drawing negative energy towards the car is me. So I got punished.
Or my brother and mother didn’t get sick often, but I’ve always been the type to catch every little cold and flu.
But when I was sick my mother still sent me to school because if I just thought positive and healing thoughts, I’d be cured by lunch. When I would come home still sick I would get punished because I obviously didn’t _try_ to heal myself and I purposely made myself sick to get attention.
I figured manifestation would stay obscure because it’s so ridiculous, and it worries me now that it’s exploding.
I worry about how many people will mentally tear themselves apart (especially those that already have things like anxiety or OCD) because the got a serious illness or got in a car accident, thinking it was their fault.
I also worry about how many more kids will be abused like I was.
I never in a million years thought I'd read somebody used manifestation as a way to abuse someone, let alone their kid. I'm so sorry you went through that. I hope you're doing ok these days. 💜
I am so sorry to hear that happened to you. That must have been terrible.
I’m so sorry. What you went through is so abusive and manipulative, you didn’t deserve any of this. It makes me sick to think that a parent was blaming their child for a cat breaking down, especially when that would be on the parents for not maintaining their own car. This would be traumatic for anyone, but especially a child.
I hope you’ve been able to heal from all this. I’m glad you know that you can recognize that none of this was truly your fault and you can rationalize that your mom was the problem. As well as the cause of her assumptions. I wish I could hug your younger self 🥺 you have to be a really strong person to think for yourself when everyone in your life is trying to force you to think the same way they do. It’s a sign of true strength and intelligence ❤️
Thank you for sharing this. I believe this is the exact issue with manifestation ideologies where the focus is placed on positivity only. It becomes poisonous and ironically quite negative!
I can't imagine being sick, being sent to school to only get worse and then get punished. I don't have the words, feel like sorry just isn't good enough. Today, I see this with everyone wanting positive only...or only good "vibes" When I see people saying this it makes me sick to my stomach. People are people...we are not robots walking around with only pOsItiVe vibes. We are weakening individuals NOT making them stronger.
"I'm a certified life coach." That is so insulting to someone like me, who has a literal PhD in life coaching (psychology with an emphasis on organization and life coaching). I literally did my dissertation on disorganized life habits (sleep, eating, financial, and social aspects).
Also: perception is not projection, that's psychological word babble and basically is gaslighting. She learned a couple phrases through some online article and fluffed together a word salad that would sound good to anyone who is easily manipulated or uneducated in the topic. In other words, manipulation.
The moment I even consider taking a photo of my poop to post publicly, I’m going to question every single life choice I’ve ever made. Unless my doctor asked for a poop pic, that would never even cross my mind. 😬

The Elomir couple used to have a public Facebook group and I commented on a post that it was a scam. They messaged me and said “so ugly.” Not sure if they were talking about the picture of my daughter (so not ugly!) or my comment so I wrote back “what’s ugly? That I called out your scam?” So unhinged!
I've seen these sort of tactics on dating apps 😭. Nothing like talking to a cute girl (or usually on Bumble BFF mode), thinking you have a genuine connection, only to find out they're trying to pull you into their MLM.
"hiring ambassadors" is so misleading.... she's not hiring you, elomir isn't hiring you... you're a 1099 contractor (not an employee) and you aren't getting paid for your time (only completed sales and recruiting).
I’m a 1099, but I’m a consultant. I run a business. I pay taxes (just did this today WOOF).
@@Strugasaurasrex exactly, 1099 covers a lot. EIN taxes area registered business but entrepreneurs can be 1099 too if they’re not a sole proprietorship or LLC etc. I’ve been both and even both at the same time by giving myself a salary so my biz wasn’t over taxed.

I used to work for Mary Kay and when I started watching anti MLM content I agreed with it. I thought Mary Kay would be so easy to sell in 2010 right when the makeup community started booming. Lost two grand. I liked the products but I knew that there was comparable things at the store. I also never recruited anybody because I didn't feel comfortable doing that until I was successful myself at selling the product. Luckily it wasn't my money! It was my desperate uplines money so she could hit her goal.

I told my brother they were dating for 7 years that she wasn't making money with Mary Kay that there was no freaking way especially after she bought me in. Couple months after getting her car my brother left her and when he packed up and they moved out of the house they were in there was like thousands of dollars in Mary Kay makeup products. My mom does taxes for a living and my brother put the two and two together and said no wonder we could never go to our mom to get taxes done cuz she wasn't making money.
@@emilyperrette1844 my sister just joined Mary Kay, because the woman that recruited her did the love bombing and carrot dangling thing and she is the type to fall for any "get rich quick" kind of thing someone peddles to her. Her recruiter has supposedly been in MK for 20 years and has a car 'paid for by MK'. I was like "Do you plan on doing it for 20 years? Because you're not going to be at her level in the pyramid until then." Do you have any advice for anything I could tell her about MK that might keep her from in getting too deep? I don't know enough about MK, and certainly not about the inner workings.

@@Rls_0523 I don’t know if this counts as advise but my hubby’s cousin was in MK. She had to buy so much product, whatever it is you have to buy and I saw she had posted it all on the marketplace for half off.
My hubby and I just got out of Amway. We were in for 5 years. The head Upline and his wife were in for 22 years at that point and were advised to go Ruby again, meaning they fell back. That was 5 years ago, they still haven’t done it but are telling everyone that he retired his French teacher wife but really they waited until she had her 30 years in!! He says he could retire too but loves teaching. I see through the bs, he’s getting his pension too. He did say “why leave money on the table.” He also said he could pay off his $400,000 house, his farm, his Escalade, his wife’s Cadillac etc, he’s trying to live like a Diamond. We had over 1200Pv which is $3 a point so over $3600 a month, with customers, and down line including our 2 adult kids. I think the pandemic helped us step away from a lot!! That was half of our time in it. Our adult kids didn’t really want to do zoom meetings so they stepped away from that. Then stepped away from conferences which were $125 or more for each. Each meeting was $7, and monthly Team Meetings were $10-$20 each, and then they dropped their bundle that was $90 a month, that’s the educational part/tools/audios. We just dropped our bundle of $90 a month. Our bundle alone was over $5100 for 5 years for us as a couple, so add the weekly meetings, monthly meetings, Conferences 4-5 times a year and any pop up conferences, and buying extra books, that’s a lot of expenses for the year, we did not make that much in all 5 years, and our Upline says he makes enough now to afford his steak dinners out with his wife. Not sure I buy that! Sure it’s a business expense! My hubby and I were just talking about how everyone on our (old) team works a 40 hour job all week, and they put 60 hours a week into getting free, and “they’re so excited!!”yet they’re in the same spot now as they were 5 years ago, and now they’ve been in it for 27 going on 28 years now. They can’t quit because they’d be called “quitters and losers” as they called us lol!! Well when we got rid of our bundle, and quit ordering, hubby’s Xterra broke down, pretty much would cost too much to fix. We were able to buy a new(used by an older couple, not a 2022) SUV, and we are able to make the payment, and do the other things we’ve needed to do, some organizational things, but bottom line in we couldn’t do this with all of these business expenses, and if you dig deeper, the platinums and above were making money off of all of these expenses, that’s why they love bombed us so much and we make a tiny bit of 💰. At least it was all on debit cards, we charged nothing, but I know so many of these young people on our team were charging, and those conference tickets came out on day one, they got one so their Upline could say they were proud of them and they would be CORE 300, which is over $900 or $1000 in products bought by themselves or customers bought.
I’m sure each MLM has similar things to hook you. I pray she gets out. These people don’t care about anyone but themselves! We dropped our monthly bundle before the middle of June this year and haven’t heard from any of the 4 uplines, and before that it was more often. People suck!!!

What scares me with these people is how much the feel pressure to post. We all have random conversations with ourselves about a bunch of things...but we don't go on insta or fb and post them. Because let's be honest with ourselves, these inner thoughts don't make sense to anyone but us. Sometimes these posts are shower arguments that they posted as a last stitch effort to try and create content for the day.
How can someone call themselves a "life coach" and not know the difference of "your" and "you're" and when to use them? I feel like I'm already a leg up knowing elementary contractions and when to use them with a brain injury.

I don't think parasites are such a persistent problem in developed countries that you need to regularly consuming products to deal with them
And speaking from experience...even if you live in a high parasite concentration zone, you just do an oral treatment for 3 days once a year and you are good until next year. You don't have to do this idiocy
Parasites are tricky because you can have them for years and they'll remain dormant in your body before you start showing signs of an infestation. Also depends on personal habits and lifestyle such as being around animals, lots of traveling, nail biting, not washing food, etc. But you certainly don't need a mlm product to get rid of parasites. I had pinworms for 2.5 years before i realised as an adult and ring worms for even longer from being around farm animals and aleays having pets as a child

I have been a practicing witch over 20 years now and that "manifestation" lady is just wrong. Sure you can manifest whatever you want but your actions need to lead you to that goal. When I was moving to a new country, I had a lady reach out to me to "welcome" me. She was very nice...she said it would be so tough to find friends and would love to meet me and show me around. Gradually, she started talking about her "business" and how I could join in too. It was such a let down. I thought she was a genuine good person who wanted to be my friend.
