I bought the alum diamond plate polishing kit from Wayne. My diamond plate on my trailer SHINES. Did the top rails and bottom rails on my 97 Pace Bigfoot Toy Hauler, folks can't believe it's the same rig. If he says it works....buy it. Takes some elbow grease but anything that gets this kinda shine on OLD aluminum does. I would post a picture of it but i dont see a way to do that. Thanks Wayne nice product.
Just seen these same rims listed on Craigslist for $100. for my 1995 Ford F350 Crew Cab. thanks for sharing ... later today I'll probably be cleaning up some old aluminum wheels
Wayne, Thanks for the tip. I used the NAPA aluminum wheel brightener (phosphoric, sulfuric, etc.) on my aged M/T aluminum wheel and got a shock. Expecting more of a Amour All/plastic affect what II got was milky streaks and blotches. I accept that etching is the correct process but only until I put the polishing wheel/compound to it did I get the shiny wheel I wanted - whew! Barry - Cheyenne, WY

Do you have to sand any after putting the acid before polishing??
whats the name of the brightner you are using
Will the acid take off the clearcoat? I have a set of wheels that the coating is flaking off. I would like to get to bare aluminum & buff them out.
