Exactly what I also thought of! It's the best☺️ She could try to get a sponsorship with shokz as well and try their swimming headphones at the same time!
Just a tip if you keep riding! I noticed your seat was still low after adjusting which could be why your knee and ankle were hurting! Also use the front of your foot when peddling! Hope this helps! 😊
Came here to say this! Susie, if you are reading this, the Peloton app has a quick step-by-step guide (video) on seat and handle bar adjustments. This will protect your back, knee, legs, booty, wrists and everything else. I usually don't know what I'm talking about but I'm an avid road cyclist and Peloton girlie so I do know this for sure haha
Every time I tried adjusting it higher it would be more uncomfortable and put more pressure on my bum 🥲 so I kept putting it back down lower again, maybe cause I have short legs?
Three things: 1) Your seat is still too low! When you're at the bottom, your leg should be almost fully extended. That might explain some of the foot, ankle, and knee pain and will definitely not be great for your knees and back in the long run. 2) Definitely recommend the padded cycling shorts if you're going to keep cycling 3) Maybe once the weather's more reasonable in Australia you could try actually going on bike rides outside for a challenge? That way you can get some of the fun nature-exploration of running too 🚴♀
Thankyou so much for the tips! I'll definitely try them out! ❤ I am tempted to try outdoor cycling when it cools down would love some bike recommendations xox
Susie my love I think it will be easier on your back and knees if you move your seat up a little 😊 I remember my instructor told me to adjust my seat so that when my feet are in the lower part of the circle my leg should be ALMOST completely straight. Loved the video btw ❤❤
This was such a fun video! Since I haven't seen anyone say this, over time the seat won't bother you anymore, it just takes time getting used to it. Every time I get back into cycling (I keep taking long breaks) it takes me a couple weeks to sit comfortably on the bike. Welcome to the cycling club Susie 🚲💃
i have a peloton bike. the saddle soreness was horrible at first. but overtime, it kinda just went away. i def recommend padded bike shorts tho. the soreness went away, but i would still feel discomfort for 45+ minutes rides. my dad does road/mountain biking for hours (probably 2-3 hours a time) and always wears the padded cycling shorts.
For the seat, I have the yesoul bike and decided to put my actual bike seat on it. Night and day difference, I think saddle seats are just more supportive
I've been following since Covid and have the same body, have also fallen off the fitness tracks and am getting back to it again just like you! Being able to watch your journey is such a great and inspiring reminder that we're all in this journey together :'-)
Hi Susie🤗💕...i think for the safety of your knees you should put the seat higher...there is a rule i think that i should be at the hight of your hip bone at the top (or something like that)😅
Hey Susie! Loved it, Lil tip for seat height, Stand next to the bike pull it up to your hip, hop on Drop foot to the bottom of the pedal and there should be a slight bend in the knee Handle bars are where ever in comfortable, the higher up protects lower back Cycling should not cause any injury pain,
Omg! I really love your fitness challenges! It motivates me to work out too. I would really like seeing you trying out some different equipment like stepper next time!
honestly hats off to you for your amazing comedic editing, literally has me in tears every video 😂❤ also, my ass HUUURRTS so bad everytime I cycle on my bike, I was thinking of going to a bike shop to get a seat test to see where my sit-bones are (different seat shapes for different sitbone placement)
I love the camping chairs in the living room haha You did great! You actually are the only influencer doing fitness who I can watch while eating and not feel bad, because you encourage me to accept my body as it is ❤
awesome work !! I am a rpm instructor from the GC. I would have loved for you to come to one of my classes at GL. Keep going with it. Set up is take your pedal all the way down and you should have a slight bend in your knee, so not straight that you have to rock your hips to push down and not to low that you can't make a full resolution with your legs. your legs will love you for these workouts
Love this video! I have a peloton and it’s my current fitness goal to do a ride almost every day. So glad you tried Cody, because he’s definitely my favorite. If you need some extra motivation, Ally Love is great too!🩷
Hey Susie! What a great video. I’ve been using a Peloton bike for 5 years now and you definitely picked a good variety of instructors. Christine usually coaches rides in the saddle because of her background in competitive biking. I’d recommend Camila - she has a similar vibe to Cody and she makes the rides feel quick. If you can, TH-cam the bike setup or see if Yesoul has a link somewhere, I think that will help you feel a lot better. ❤
wow, respect that you decided to do that before Christmas even though you had so much to do! I can't even do a workout after work or go to the gym because I would have to walk there and that takes so much energy! But sometimes I've been there and done that and it was incredibly fun and it was so exhausting! Especially my 1 hour was with a man who really went for it but I stuck with it It's great that I can accompany you again this year and I'm happy that you've become more active again! I wish you both a happy new year❤
🚴how fun!! My husband and I would cycle around town after work. 11pm to midnight during the hot seasons. Those fresh nights were worth it oh and the calm streets.
I've been re-watching your videos over the last couple days (especially decluttering and cleaning ones) so I am so pumped you've posted. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and haven't been gym once during, but I am gagging to go back once I give birth. You're always a realistic inspiration for me - aspirational, motivational but without making me feel bad or setting unrealistic choices.
I just wanted to lyk how much I appreciate your videos- every single time I've been motivated to do anything good for my body/health, it's been because of your videos. I even started going to my local gym despite being terrified and feeling embarassed for going- especially as a newbie. Thank you so much for all you do 🩷
I started working at a gym in October and had never done a spin in my life, it was such an adjustment and teaching it is insane, but now it's my absolute favourite form of cardio and am fully converted!
YAY you found Cody!!!! When you started with Matt I was like oh no find Cody!!!! He is my fave instructor I don’t feel like I’m working out I’m laughing so much!
Another suggestion if you really like doing this and want to continue look into if you can convert the pedals to be able to click in. I converted mine and use spin shoes which really improved the overall experience
🚲 I bought a bike earlier this year and haven't had the motivation to commit to it, this has defo motivated me to get started and be consistent with it!
Girl you’re looking stunning as always! Happy new year! 🎉🚲 Also I agree with others here in that a swimming challenge might be fun, as well as just bike riding outside!
I'm convinced we’re on the same chaotic fitness wavelength because I was bike shopping the other day and-get this-I just hopped on one in my lounge wear. Zero shame. Full commitment. 😆
Hi Susie! It looks like your seat is still quite low. A good rule of thumb is to raise your seat enough so when one leg is fully extended it is basically fully straight, just a slight bend in the knee. 😊
🚲 this video is making me want to get into cycling again even if it’s only 15 min because it’s better than not doing it at all. Thank you for staying dedicated!
I watched your 8 week fitness transformation video and you've inspired me to try the SBB 8 week burn program - Just started yesterday and woke up so. sore. Might have to try the bike next!!
Susie, a tip to make egg peeling easier is to crack the shell and peel the egg under the water you cooled it in. No more little shell bits on the egg still!
🚴♂🚴♀🚴I love the moving vlogs series as well as all of the workout challenges you do ❤ Keep up the hard work! And also a tip when you are working out for multiple days in a row you wont see a difference as much as if you take rest days because your body is processing the exercise you did when you are resting ♥♥
Loved this video!! Ive gotten into cycling recently and I love it. Good cardio without feeling like I'm dying the whole time like I do when I run. Highly recommend the padded bike shorts!! They look weird but they're a game changer
🚲 Thank you for making this video! My husband and I have a Peloton and I haven’t used it in a year because I was upset I lost my weekly streak 🥲 but your video inspires me to ride it again! Also, I know everyone’s telling you, but if adjusting the height wasn’t enough, see if you can also move your seat closer or further from the handlebars and find a video to check your posture and stuff. I also think the Peloton app has a couple of intro videos that are like 5 mins long that talks you through a short ride and how your body should be feeling! Happy new year 🚲🚲 💕
Susie i absolutely love your videos ❤ You're the reason I started working out and I've been consistent now for 2 years and 3 months, and I've lost about 50 pounds Thank you for sharing these challenges
I don't know if you realize how much you are giving, I was having one of those days, but watching you it's the way I feel motivated to get out of the bed and start my everyday routine, i want to thank you for being so real ❤
You go, girl! Also, try putting the seat about or at hip height. Matt Wilpers has a ride where he explains the correct way to peddle. He's also a harder instructor on Peloton lol.
🚴♀️great video Susie. Hope you enjoyed your holiday season! A warm Christmas is such a foreign concept to me. I’ll have to spend a Christmas down there in the future!
Cody Rigsby is my favorite Peloton coach! I don’t have a peloton, I have a bow flex bike with the cheaper Peloton app. I did try a Peloton bike at a hotel and aside from the screen size there was no difference to my ride or bike quality 🚴♀️
Honest to God! The second I saw your new video up on my feed and there was a bike🚴♀️ I couldn't help but laugh😂 I literally just got myself a bike a week before Christmas and it delivered on Christmas eve😅 you've just motivated the shit out of me coz I've been trying to get started but just so lazy. 😢 I LOVE how disciplined you were with your workouts even during the festive season. ❤❤❤❤ Can't wait for your next video. HAPPY HOLIDAYS🎉 Hope you had a good one😘
🚴🏽♀️ Hey Susie, great work pushing through that much cardio and glute burn for 2 weeks! I'm a kickboxing instructor and would love to see you do a kickboxing challenge for 30 days. We usually recommend 3x/week at least🥊 Hope to see you attack the bag!
I'll never judge anyone for what they where at the gym--we have a large Jewish community that dresses conservatively, and I've seen women lift in skirts, long shirts, and head coverings. It doesn't matter what you're wearing as long as it's comfortable and you can move safely imo.
Hey guys so excited for you to watch this new fitness challenge! 🚴♀️ please ignore the deafening silence at 15:00 I got copyrighted 😆
I thought it was humor lol
New video please Susie! Love you! ❤
Susie I think you should try swimming for 30 days, love from uk!!
Exactly what I also thought of! It's the best☺️
She could try to get a sponsorship with shokz as well and try their swimming headphones at the same time!
Yes!!
Yes please 🙏🏻
Call me Michael Phelps hehe xo adding it to my list 👀
Just a tip if you keep riding! I noticed your seat was still low after adjusting which could be why your knee and ankle were hurting! Also use the front of your foot when peddling! Hope this helps! 😊

Yes, please adjust your seat!!!
I came here to say the same thing!
Me too! As a cycle instructor I just wanted to adjust you to be more comfortable.
Every time I tried adjusting it higher it would be more uncomfortable and put more pressure on my bum 🥲 so I kept putting it back down lower again, maybe cause I have short legs?

Every time I’m desperate to go to Australia I watch a Susie blog and get reminded how big the critters are and get scared 😭 keep crushing is suze
Okayyyy the ab definition??? In both the first and final shot. You’ve been killing it with your workouts
Girl, what ab definition? Let's not be delusional
the lighting and framing of the shot of you in the red chair is stunning! The editing on this video is also so good!
Thankyou so much 🥹 trying to be more professional heheh
That dopamine hit when u see suzie posted & the bigger hit when u watch >>>>>
you should do a Zumba class from the 80s for like a week!! I love your videos and your so pretty ❤❤
YES
Or a Jane Fonda workout video!
Susie my love I think it will be easier on your back and knees if you move your seat up a little 😊
I remember my instructor told me to adjust my seat so that when my feet are in the lower part of the circle my leg should be ALMOST completely straight.
Loved the video btw ❤❤
I work out in PJ's all the time when I can't be bothered to change into a gym fit lol. As long as it gets done! 🤣 Loved this challenge!
susieeeee pls move your seat higher it will make great difference for your back!!!
This was such a fun video! Since I haven't seen anyone say this, over time the seat won't bother you anymore, it just takes time getting used to it. Hi Susie🤗💕...i think for the safety of your knees you should put the seat higher...there is a rule i think that i should be at the hight of your hip bone at the top (or something like that)😅
I’ve got to say, your honest experiences throughout these Challenges are priceless, it’s such a rare thing to find nowadays! 💗 🚴
Hey Susie! Loved it,
Lil tip for seat height,
Stand next to the bike pull it up to your hip, hop on
Drop foot to the bottom of the pedal and there should be a slight bend in the knee
Handle bars are where ever in comfortable, the higher up protects lower back
Cycling should not cause any injury pain,
If u stand next to the seat the seat should be at hip level.
I tried this but it was so uncomfortable for me 😭
I’m not even kidding when I say I specifically searched for a cycling video from you last week and didn’t see one, this was great timing
Please do a Couch to 5K challenge, if you haven't already. Loved the video ❤
I love the camping chairs in the living room haha
You did great! You actually are the only influencer doing fitness who I can watch while eating and not feel bad, because you encourage me to accept my body as it is ❤

So glad my addiction has been fed
Thank you mother ❤️🤗
🚲 Your skin is beautiful, glowing! ❤️

I’ve been waiting for one of my favorite fitness girlies to do an indoor cycling challenge!
I was literally looking at your old videos and this popped up, im so lucky 🎉
I'm convinced we’re on the same chaotic fitness wavelength because I was bike shopping the other day and-get this-I just hopped on one in my lounge wear. Zero shame. Full commitment. 😆
Hi Susie! It looks like your seat is still quite low. A good rule of thumb is to raise your seat enough so when one leg is fully extended it is basically fully straight, just a slight bend in the knee. 😊

Thank you for your inspiration! Great video!❤❤

been subscribed to you for so many years now and still somehow your content is my favourite and I’m NEVER bored!! Loved this 🫶🏻❤️🔥✨
🚴🏽♂️
Really enjoyed your Video. Happy New Year everyone😊
That fish dinner Murray made looked 🔥
To check to see where your seat should be measure it to your hip, I am a peloton girlie and that’s what they suggest… have fun!
U inspire me, girl. Great work!🚴♀
🚴🏼♀️ yay Susie! A lovely video! You look amazing and thriving :) a happy new year to you, too! love from Finland!

Heeey I love Jenna 🥰 I love girls renovating their houses 🫶🏼
I needed this video today, thank you! I love your humor and how relatable you are. So many laughs in this one. ❤😄💪🚲

🚴♀️ Definitely gonna give this a go this year ❤ love your videos❤ Happy New Year girl🎊🎉🎆🎉🎊
The padded shorts is a game changer!
also I think there are several bike programs that you can get for free! 🚴🏻♀️

I've had a Yesoul bike for a few years now and it holds up great. 🚲
