Thank you so very much for this video. I learned so much from watching this. I was struggling to figure this out on Design Space and was able to find your video. Absolutely brilliant!
I loved your video. I have been looking for two days to show how to do this. I just got a Circut Maker yesterday. I followed your video and was very happy with my design. So I was ready to make it. It said my spacing was not correct. I figured out that I need to .25 instead of 0 to start my cut (I am guessing) so I made all the adjustments and was still happy with my new design. All my actual cuts were right next to each other and I have no 90 degree cuts. Can you help me. I am willing to buy your pattern but I need Square 2 7/8 inches. I am wondering if my design space is not working correcting with my Circut Maker.
I wonder if there is a way to do this with hexagons. I'm designing a hexagonal quilt, wish to use my Cricut Maker, but baby figure a way to cut the fabric without the Cricut creating a thin space and cut between each "block."
Creating a file like this in Design Space would be deficit because of the available tools. This type of file could be created in other vector programs, like Adobe Illustrator. What size hexagons would you like to cut for your quilt?
@@doreensdesigns6873I'm using 4in hexagons. From the template I have which includes the seam allowance, the dimensions are 4.58 by 3.96. I'm able to create a layout with this template in Inkscape.
You clicked on something to get that calculator around 1:55. But, you did not mention how to find that and I have no idea! Please tell us! Thank you very much!
I have the calculator connected to a key on my keyboard. But not all keyboards can be setup like this. On a PC if you would like to open a calculator, click in the search field located on the bottom left of the window. Type in Calculator, then when it appears, just click on the Calculator App.
I noticed IN YOUR TUTOIAL on the canvas presentation you kept SWITCHING or CONFUSING THE TWO VERTICAL= 6.5, 13, 19.5 and the HORIZONTAL= 3.5, 7, 10.5 lines... WHICH IS IT?? Am I the only one who noticed this? HELP!!
Excellent video. Thank you!

Hi Sweetyedie, I've re-watched the video and it is correct. Each lines needs to be positioned vertically and horizontally.
You can't hear
Try turning up the volume on your computer, not just the video slider. You should then be able to hear the audio.
While this is an excellent video you can barely hear you so it is a struggle to watch and learn -
I can’t hear you
