I recently bought 2010 toyota auris manual gearbox1.33 vvti dual, 55 k mileage on the clock , recently got it serviced and rear break discs and pad changed . Now it runs like a brand new car, perfect Size for family spacious car 54 or 55 litre tank . 42 - 43 mpg in City 46 - 47 mpg on motorway . Bought it for 5700 pounds. I am the 2nd owner got it with 11 years toyota service stamps .
I got one of those for 5400€, 10 years old with 135.000 KM's on the clock and in pretty good condition (apart from quite a few scratches on the front bumper and hood). Think it was a decent deal, considering how expensive even used cars are right now. Now I hope it'll serve me well for at least another 5 years.
Can I just ask I bought one of these today I'm getting a message on dash saying charging battery or something and it wount go off until I fully start car is this normal
@Jamie Davies - I think all cars do that. It shows you the dash lights are functioning before you start the engine. If warning lights stay on after you start the engine then there is something wrong.
@Miron444 without you being rude back to me but may I suggest that what you're trying to say is that this engine doesn't have enough power for a car of this size and weight? Cause it has a good amount of power for a 1.3 (1.33 specifically) and in something like the iq and yaris the engine works well I would say

the only issue is the position of the gears

What mpg you get from it on motorway 70-80 mph?are they 6 speed manuals?thanks

Take a car on motorway on day time give it a good run for least 50 miles ,battery will charge properly
