Just done a flight a319 EasyJet colours from Glasgow to Luton. It’s beautiful as expected. 🎉 I think £20 for a319 and £20 for the a321 is a good price. Especially as others have said pmdg would charge double.

Happy to rid myself of the LVFR versions with the Horizon Mods. Very thrilled that they included the Allegheny Airlines Heritage livery for American Airlines. Allegheny hauled me many times between St. Louis and Harrisburg during my college years.
I bought it soon after release. Very impressed. Personally, I think £40 is not unreasonable. I’ve just looked back at the FSLabs versions for P3DV5. By my calculations it’s around $250 for all three models!!! I’ve said before in this Group FSLabs had the reputation for producing the best A320 family. However, they have missed the boat with MSFS2020 as Fenix have beaten them to it. I shall not be forking out for the products. I also expect if they ever do release for MSFS20/24, we can expect those eye watering prices again!!
Neos would be infinite times more difficult to produce given their attention to details and realism factors. It took them an eternity to get the IAE out , imagine doing the LEAP and the PWGTF variants . Then adding them to the 321 variant.
@@CaptainGamez123 they said the IAE wasnt their main problem, it was mainly their external Engine model. But with this complete they are able to get new Engines done much quicker
@@CaptainGamez123 it really depends how their internal systems have improved during IAE development. It seems to be a bit similar story to PMDG - they were "stuck" on the EFB for a long time, but after overcoming the issues they now seem to be able to progress much quicker.
I’m certain they are. All I need is them to release the sharklet variant and my speculation will be true. By rule of thumb and from the quick little tease by the installer of - sharklet, non sharklet fence and sharklet fence this only means one thing in my head. - Nom sharklet fence: A320-211 older Airbus model with crt displays older systems therefore older fly by wire, mcdu, fuel burn, engine etc you get the point -sharklet fence A more sophisticated cockpit, better engine, etc you get the point (the a320 we currently have) with the gnards and no the ADIRS which is more modern -sharklet The current day to day a320-200 we see all the time with easyJet, with ADIRS and better systems more fluid a slightly better version of the current one we have This could also end up meaning we would get the neos eventually hopefully by next year I might have smoked a massive blunt but it’s the only logical explanation I have for fenix to release a slightly outdated a320 with the gnards with modern day spec that you would see on a typical a320 in todays day and age sharklet fence tips. I’m really only basing this over my experience with Iberia express. They fly the sharklet fence and sharklet. The sharklet fence ones have the gnards most of the time older systems very similar to the a320 we have on the sim. The sharklet version have the modern a320 systems and screens which are more high res and just better you have to see both screen in person to really see the diff and fly on both. They fly a bit better too. Iberia also has their really old a320 which were bought right at the time they were putting the fence sharklets whith the crt screens. For todays operation they have been modified and been added new wx radar and cpdlc but the cockpit and displays are the old one. I’m also a strong believer that fenix have ended up choosing this plan so you have an actual reason to fly a sharklet, sharklet fence and non sharklet fence. More or less in line with fenix interests on the a320 family history
I do not think they will. There is the excellent default A320 Neo(2) designed by IniBuild and there is the FlyByWire A320 Neo. So actually no need for a third one. Why should Fenix pu lots of recourses into a project, which definitel will not have that many customers with already 2 Neos available.
Just downloaded these, tried to fly the A321, could not figure out why I couldn't get engines, then realised after three weeks of getting used to the B777, i had forgot the start up switch, interestingly, also had issues with the throttles, i had to reset the engine profiles, as some sites said there would not be a need to set the engines as the profiles for the a320 would be the same. Still a very nice flight.
I am pretty useless when it comes to digging below the surface on computer issues and maybe you covered this. I purchased the A319/A321 and when I attempt to power up my Mini Cockpit FCU with one or the other, it won't support the new add-ons. Still works fine with the A320.
Its very nice, just had the A320 for a few weeks so stil gettign to grips with it. The minFCU is not currently working with the A319 a nd A321 as yet. Needs an update I suspect from Minicockpit.
I have a question... The a320 is very Good for an a320 but i thougt there would be more implements in the 321... In real life the a321 have Same New Systems and callouts for exampme Taxi routing in one Display or some collouts like On runnway 25 ... is that implementet?
I was surprised that with A319 on a short one hour flight my T/O speeds were as high as 150kts but landing speed as low as 125kts. Is that correct ? If so, why is that?

Can someone please enlighten me why variants of an aircraft are so much money? What are they doing besides lengthening the model and tweaking performance numbers? From the cockpit perspective it’s the same exact thing. Same goes for pmdg with their 737. Why is the -600 so much cheaper than the -900?
Supply and demand. No one wants the 600. Personally I have way more hours in the 6 & 7, never bought the 8 or 9, but more people want the 8 and 9, so they are more expensive. Supply and demand.
Great video again Gav, however I feel a little aggrieved that those wishing to purchase the bundle get £10 off, but for those of us that have already purchased the base model and shown our loyalty, don’t qualify for a discount off the 319/321 add on package. Disappointing.

Massive bug with Fenix A321. Direct 90° crosswind about 10 ft off the ground from the left and direct 90° crosswind from the right each about 30-40 knots when winds were 260/7 at KMIA 26L.
Just imagine the liveries that we could have if sharklets were available as in real life. Remember, those wingtip thingies promised on day one? 2.5 yrs later, still missing.
It should be the same for all three aircrafts. I think I've read it somewhere on Fenix Discord.. I did't buy the expansion yet so can't confirm.. Try to remove and install again from Navigraph hub..
i tested a flightplan for the new fenix a321 via simbrief from frankfurt to dubai and it showed that Flight exceeds aircraft range with a total fuel deficit of 5398 kg. the same flightplan for the fenix a320 and the fuel deficit is only by 658 kg. and the best is by choosing the a319 the fuel deficit is by 268 kg!!!?? how can it be??
Purchased within minutes of availability. First observation, Fenix knocked it out of the park yet again. Here's to praying for MSFS 2024 and the power of multi threading. So sick of the stutter fest. Spend, spend, spend and stutters persist. At the very least, why can't we have an accurate fps counter? Nothing beats looking at the fps showing 45-50 but out the window is a micropause every half second and lowering display settings do nothing to solve it.

Comment section is a bit biased here imo. Don‘t know why everyone is saying that 116€ for the whole package (94€ with the discount) is a fair and sensational price (even compared to PMDG). These are nearly the same airplanes from the same family. I mean there is a video to show marginal take off sound differences.. And there still are no freighter versions available. Coming from simracing where everyone is arguing that iracing is overly expensive, this is just crazy.
Because it's not a good price. It's price gouging. The aircraft are virtually identical. I'd say 95% identical with the only differences literally being engine type and fuselage length. That's it. $100 for 3 aircraft without any significant differences between flight characteristics and workflows is very steep. I understand that's a purposeful decision by Airbus itself but this is a sim. The differences between aircraft for a sim's perspective is nil unless role playing is that important to you. I thought about just picking up the a320 if it was also discounted but nope. Not discounted at all. I'm not interested in the 321 since it's a basically a longer range and higher pax count a320, and I never do flights in MSFS2020 longer than 2-3 hours. However the a319 is interesting exactly for those short haul flights. But $100 for two planes I'd use? No thanks.

I'm still very happy with my triple consisting of FBW A32N, LVFR A319 (Horizon mod) and LVFR A321Neo (horizon mod) to join VATSIM. Personally no need for Fenix, though it is an excellent product.
Sorry but until Fenix can improve the VR frame rates won’t be touching these. I’ve requested a few times for them to address why the Fenix is extremely power hungry in VR for which they say they will address but never do, the difference between Fenix and the FBW or the PMDG in VR is night and day.
Was waiting until the 319 or 321 came out for a little change. Let's not beat about the bush here, even for first timers, if I want a 319, it's going to cost me £80. Each to their own but that's outside my budget therefore I'm missing out. Enjoy the aircraft, but as I say, that's just too expensive for me. As for existing owners. I owned the original EIDW. When EIDW2 came out, existing owners received a discount. I bought EIDW2. I also owned EGPH but when EGPH2 came out, existing owners were asked to pay the same as everyone else. I didn't buy EGPH2. I just don't get this idea these are whole new products because to existing owners they're not. If you require the A320 as a base, then why charge so much for an A319? "You get A319 and A321". True, but I don't want 3 aircraft that are all basically the same, I just want one ! I reckon the developers would make more money from their products if they revisited their pricing policies. I'd be willing to buy an A319 for £40 but as it stands, Fenix won't make a penny out of me.
£80 if you don't own any of them. That's the offer price too. I will pass. Sorry, but the price of some of these airliner add ons is getting ridiculous.

With this one, they force you to buy the base A320 aircraft to get the other two. I don't need an A320. I already have two. The one that comes with the sim, and the Fly by wire A320 Neo. Why should I be forced to buy another A320?

Edit: actually considering they are all virtually identical aircraft with only the minutiae being the differences, I'm not sure $100 is a good price at all. Minicockpits will update their firmware to support the new aircraft soon.

Those are usually on the A321 Neos. They are also airline specific. The Fenix replicating the older CEO variants.

2020 already had multithreading. Idk how much more wiggle room they have but it runs fine on my pc

Was waiting until the 319 or 321 came out for a little change. Let's not beat about the bush here, even for first timers, if I want a 319, it's going to cost me £80. Each to their own but that's outside my budget therefore I'm missing out. Enjoy the aircraft, but as I say, that's just too expensive for me.
As for existing owners. I owned the original EIDW. When EIDW2 came out, existing owners received a discount. I bought EIDW2. I also owned EGPH but when EGPH2 came out, existing owners were asked to pay the same as everyone else. I didn't buy EGPH2. I just don't get this idea these are whole new products because to existing owners they're not. If you require the A320 as a base, then why charge so much for an A319? "You get A319 and A321". True, but I don't want 3 aircraft that are all basically the same, I just want one ! I reckon the developers would make more money from their products if they revisited their pricing policies. I'd be willing to buy an A319 for £40 but as it stands, Fenix won't make a penny out of me.

£80 for 3 aircraft. That’s about £26 per aircraft which are one of the best you could get for MSFS

@tomstravels520 I said the price of some of these aircraft add ons are ridiculous. I stand by that statement. The PMDG 777 is over £62. The Just Flight 146 is £50. With this one, they force you to buy the base A320 aircraft to get the other two. I don't need an A320. I already have two. The one that comes with the sim, and the Fly by wire A320 Neo. Why should I be forced to buy another A320?

Figured they'd discount the original package...$100 for 3planes and the a321 I'm not even interested in.
Edit: actually considering they are all virtually identical aircraft with only the minutiae being the differences, I'm not sure $100 is a good price at all. Maybe $50 for the original package and $75 for the add-ons.

Well you purchase basically four aircrafts (2 A319, 2 A321 with engine variants) for less than the A320 itself...
I’d have picked it up if there was a 320 owner discount, I’m not that desperate for more airbus, especially when I’m not interested in the 319.
