Loved this video. Now, I see what I could have done with those dresses that I gave to charity. Oh well, doesn’t matter. Someone will like them as is. Now, to redo a large baggy linen blouse into something I can wear. It was a clearance sale. Beautiful fabric.

OMG the Freeze of Self-Doubt is so real! I love how the CK dress turned out. The pattern, a sort of "winter" floral with its black background, looks really nice with your skin tone and dark hair. P.S. The platform Tevas are the move, for sure!

Wow!!! All of these flips are so impressive - you can't even tell the jeans have been altered, the burgundy dress looks like it was always meant to be a cropped peplum top, and the CK dress! 😍😍😍 It suits you SO well - the style and the colours - what an amazing find!
And I loved the bit where you froze - so much of my sewing process involves me freezing while I try to think about what I'm doing and if I'm doing it right etc 🤣👍

I especially loved the dress flip. It's given me inspiration for a similar shaped dress where I've cut the bodice off but am stumped how to proceed. I hadn't thought of gathering the top, I was too focussed on the skirt! 🙂

I love to sew and love to repurpose stuff. The flowery fabric reminded me of a DOLCE & GABBANA dress I saw, which was ruched on the sides all the way down. Form fitting but the ruching makes it seem less tight…. Haha. Your redo looks very pretty! I would do a slit on the sides of the maxi dress just for movability. Leaving it maxi adds versatility to your wardrobe!! Lots of very casual “every day” maxis out there! You do such a great job!! Bravo! Consider doing a lil modeling on the side! ❤️👵🏻

I love all the changes you made…the only thing I would do Is make a short figure hugging skirt from the fabric left after making the top. You could wear it separately or together for a cute look…well done on saving the dress 🤦🏼♀️😮💨 xx

New to your channel and Subscribed today! Exactly the content I was looking for, finding a piece you love, and making it work. I recently started wearing my "dressier" clothes because I got tired of never wearing them. You can keep your maxi dress or any dress casual with your comfort sandals or a pair of sneakers. I also pair my dressy tops with jeans or a jean skirt and casual shoes. I have a trunk full of thrift flips that I work on as time allows. Thanks again, and keep creating!
