Danny Hart's run in val di sole was so awesome, pushing in every corner it looked like he was nearly crashing everywhere and generally quite out of control, awesome run!!!
Those trails are awesome for riders of most abilities and there's some great restaurants on the mountains too which are good value. One of the best riding days I've had
nice tracking shot in the middle somewhere- i don't think enough credit is given to the camera work! brendan reminds me of a younger scotty in regards to presenting :) loving these videos :)
I m injured right now. It just made me more sick to get back to riding again. Amazing trails. A pity we are lightyears away from that infrastructure here in Brazil.
What kind of bikes do you guys have/Can you get all your bikes and make a 20 min video on your mountain bikes and what you did to them as upgrades. Multiple videos work. I really like the green SCOTT bikes you ride in this video. Thnaks
#askgmbn I have a giant trance 4 which came with 140mm forks, I recently broke them in a Enduro race. I want to upgrade to more travel but not sure how much is too much. I was looking at Fox talas 130mm - 160mm any advise?
I don't know about that bike but it really depends on your bike's rims check it out if it has a label that says tubeless ready or if not you can put a rim tape on your rim so you can make/ convert it into a tubeless ready rim then buy a tubeless ready tire and some sealant.
#Ask GMBN anything. I've pretty much decided that I need an Enduro or full mountain bike for the kind of riding I want to do. We have 9 miles of single track here in Dayton, Ohio called MoMba. My favorite of course would be the downhills but I would have to get up there. So my question is what size tire would be best? 27.5 or 29? I've heard all the pros and cons. Can't somebody just tell me what to do?
Go for 27.5 as though the ascent will be a little harder it will make the descending portion much more fun, and as you prefer the downhill aspect then it will be all the more rewarding. You don't need to ask anyone but yourself, which one do you want to ride. remember it makes more sense to kit the 29er to xc than trying to get smaller stems for it whereas you can experiment with a 27.5 and see what works best for you (i've got 3 different stems for my 27.5 and is fun to switch). If its more of an xc track (as its 9miles) then perhaps go for the 29er however if there are lots of descents then go for 27.5. And what do you mean 'Can't somebody just tell me what to do?' yes they can but they dont know whats best for you. Go for what you want rather than what everyone else is doing. It seems as though a lot of the people who askgmbn for advice don't really think about what they want and just want what the pros advise even though they dont know YOU. They don't know how you perform on a 27.5 or a 29er only you do, the pro advise is always good but how are you going to learn if you dont make mistakes or act for yourself?
hi both of these wheel sizes are awsome but if you like more snappy bike (that you like to play around with the bike) go for 27.5 and if you like more stable ride (you are more responsible with the bike) go for 29, Raafat
a lot of people prefer no gloves. weird, right? I reckon their hands mustn't be as sweaty as the rest of us. I'd slip off the bars in the first minute of riding.
Because downhill bikes are only good for one thing and that's going down. If there's any up at all then a downhill bike is useless. Unless you're a pro downhiller or live near a ski resort with lifts you don't need a dh bike. Very few people need a DH bike, they can usually hit anything they need with an Enduro and still have the option to pedal up hills.
I'm literally not joking me and my friend went dh biking in Switzerland where we live and my friend crashed on jump in the middle of the forest shit happened and shit escalated but a helicopter had to come like wtf it was 8 and he couldn't walk he could talk fine but i mean shit he's in hospital right now so yea
Love a good epic ride! This looks like a dream destination. If you love mountain biking and stories about it go check out mtb_story_time on instagram for pictures and repost of your adventures. would love to have cool mtb community on there.
I´m so happy to live there :)
The hackelberg trail is still one of my favorites
Danny Hart's run in val di sole was so awesome, pushing in every corner it looked like he was nearly crashing everywhere and generally quite out of control, awesome run!!!

That was EPIC guys! Looks like you had a great day of riding!
It was awesome, some great trails to explore in the Saalbach region, one for the bucket list!
Those trails are awesome for riders of most abilities and there's some great restaurants on the mountains too which are good value. One of the best riding days I've had
i'm assuming you've ridden them, if so, would someone who can comfortably ride reds and a bit of black be able to do this?
It's my favourite GMBN video!!

I m injured right now. It just made me more sick to get back to riding again. Amazing trails. A pity we are lightyears away from that infrastructure here in Brazil.

Good to see dirty bikes on GMBN.
What kind of bikes do you guys have/Can you get all your bikes and make a 20 min video on your mountain bikes and what you did to them as upgrades. Multiple videos work. I really like the green SCOTT bikes you ride in this video. Thnaks
1:33 It's the Kohl-mais-gipfel-bahn
It's as simple as that. ^-^ ;)
Brendan must be so easy on his front tyre as he spends most of his time using just the back wheel. Epic ride lads.
this channel should do more edits like this rather than tutorials all the time
Epic!
been there done that :)
can you guys make video on how to jump with Brendan
Do a video on how to do the turkey twizzler, i can't do it xD
Damn, I want to do this!!!

Scotty ain't sloppy
#askgmbn I have a giant trance 4 which came with 140mm forks, I recently broke them in a Enduro race. I want to upgrade to more travel but not sure how much is too much. I was looking at Fox talas 130mm - 160mm any advise?
1:02 You know you are a mtb-er when you have that look in your eyes
😁😁😁🔝
When will the epic ride from Whistler be released?
Later on this month! The edit boys have a big edit job coming up...
Could you make a Walmart hyper havoc full suspension bike tubeless?
How do I know if I could make my bike tubeless?
I don't know about that bike but it really depends on your bike's rims check it out if it has a label that says tubeless ready or if not you can put a rim tape on your rim so you can make/ convert it into a tubeless ready rim then buy a tubeless ready tire and some sealant.
Amazing video guys, could you tell me what are the differences between your bikes?
Scott has a Genius LT 170mm of travel and Brendan has the Genius with 150mm of travel!
Thanks!
nice video
Do the gmbn crew ride
what bikes do you use
Scott Genius and Genius LT!
what model are those Scott bikes?
Scott's on a Genius LT and Brendan has a Genius!
But did they have their 60-80g of carbs?
Will you guys ever sell GMBN jerseys? I know I'd absolutely buy one and I'm sure others would as well.
We are working on them!
which mtb is that i need one but im too poor lol
aka GMBN: Have you guys jumped Crabapple hits? Scotty didn't with Jackson Goldstone, so has Neil?
Guys I wanna see the guy who films all the action if you want too comment so they can see it and show this awesome guy
He's the man!

well, if you already know all the pros and cons, just pick that one it makes you smile most

Or 27.5+, a bit more traction.
just go full fat bike
hi both of these wheel sizes are awsome but if you like more snappy bike (that you like to play around with the bike) go for 27.5 and if you like more stable ride (you are more responsible with the bike) go for 29, Raafat
Which helmet does Brendan have?
Troy Lee Designs A1 (but his is custom painted because he's sponsored)
Thanks
#askgmbn How do you deal with arm pump on a day like that?
Well it looks like Brendan finally watched a video how to wash a bike :D
Thats a kind of funny how you say german words when youre german :D
Noiceee 👍🏽
that music tho
please do more of these but just raw POV with a gopro
needs camera views from the bike !!
"Anyway"
Oh, I haven't even realized I'm early
Scotty: Do you like to use no gloves? Why?
So he can feel the bars?
Because he doesn't want to have fairy liquid women hands :)
a lot of people prefer no gloves. weird, right? I reckon their hands mustn't be as sweaty as the rest of us. I'd slip off the bars in the first minute of riding.
with some grips it's honestly alot more comfortable and grippy without gloves
Just don't fall, ever.
#askgmbn How do you film for mountain biking?
are epic rides new epissode series if they are they re fucking awesome.........
They will more and more especially on trips away...
I Just noticed..... Why does Scott doesn't wear any gloves in all of the videos I watchedwith him on it? hehehehe
I do sometimes but not always!!
Do you need an extra bike ticket when you have the joker card?
Are these tracks with an enduro possible also for "normal bikers"?
Of course
#brendancanwhip
We see you on Enduro bikes, fat bike, xc bikes... but never on DH bikes ? Any reason for that ?
Because downhill bikes are only good for one thing and that's going down. If there's any up at all then a downhill bike is useless. Very few people need a DH bike, they can usually hit anything they need with an Enduro and still have the option to pedal up hills.
mithrandirification True, but in a lot of vids they are only going downhill...
We will be... It's on our next plans!
Global Mountain Bike Network Sweet !
Scott what size frame do u ride? Large?
Large or XL depending on the manufacturer!
I'm literally not joking me and my friend went dh biking in Switzerland where we live and my friend crashed on jump in the middle of the forest shit happened and shit escalated but a helicopter had to come like wtf it was 8 and he couldn't walk he could talk fine but i mean shit he's in hospital right now so yea
it was today and we're 13
+Greg Wellard and I had the police escort me down jeez

Look that's him

That's Enduro! ;)
