    GMBN you should go to Currahee GA. its a 32 or 31 mile ride i did it last year and i am only 13 years old. There is lots of very long climbs and long decents. It took 6 hours with my mountain biking team and it was a boat load of fun.(VERY TIERING)

    province of Albay, Phillipnes offers a wide range of terrain perfect for extreme mountain biking. Whether you are looking for rough, steep and rocky terrain or tracks winding through rain forests, streams and fields - the intrepid mountain biker can find it in Albay. For instance, there’s nothing like mountain biking on the slopes of the most active volcano in the country - the ultimate adrenaline rush.

    please GMBN go on a proper hardcore mountain biking trip to wales! stay in a proper old B&B or if you're really brave a tent and just go out into that luscious welsh shredding material! Me and my friend when to Rhaydar in wales and found the most perfect trail we've ever rode, its a great way to realise although bike parks are great, getting into those natural trails sometimes you just can't beat but just make sure you go in the summer because its no fun in the rain :/

    This very well might be the best video on the channel to date!
    I don't know why I'm still apprehensive about running tubeless, is it really that much better? I replaced 6 tubes last season 4 were pinch flats the other 2 were thorn piercings! Yet somehow my brain is telling me running tubeless will give me more problems. After 2 seasons, my tires are shot. Going to get Ardents for front and rear, think I will buy a tubeless kit and do it all at once!

    • @OnlyJabronis
      @OnlyJabronis 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Christian Moniz I really recommend running tubeless! I've been running tubeless for the past year or so and despite some real big and sharp areas I've crossed through that probably would've shredded my tubed tires!

    • @ronin061874
      @ronin061874 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Since switching to tubeless I've only had 2 flats in 5 years. The small little thorn punctures are sealed up by the sealant and the pinch flats are eliminated. A sidewall tear will require you to put in a tube but it will get you home.
      I usually go through a set of tires every 6 months or so. (I probably need to start buying cheaper tires with harder rubber😜). In any case I add new sealant every 3-4 months to make sure it is fresh and will plug new holes. Otherwise it is maintenance free.
      The very best thing about tubeless is being able to run lower tire pressures. The grip in the loose and in the corners is amazing. Once you've tried it you'll never go back.

    • @RxMTB
      @RxMTB 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks guys! Glad you are all having great success with tubeless! MEC is no longer selling stan's no tubes, so once I find a place near by that sells it I'm going to convert so I'm ready for spring! So long as I don't have to buy different rims ofcourse

    Loved the video. Can you guys give me some advice vor buying a bike Strive or Spectral? What are the benefits compared to each other?

    • @GroundCRow
      @GroundCRow 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Nico Ofner It depends on the stuff, you want to ride! You have to consider, that the Spectral is light, but the Strive has a great option with the shape shifter and obviously 1 or 2cm more of travel. So the descents will be more fun with a Strive and the uphill sections more enjoyable with the Spectral

    • @nicoofner85
      @nicoofner85 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      GroundCRow Thanks!

    • @GlitchyPics
      @GlitchyPics 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Nico Ofner Hey Nico. I have a Strive and love it and I agree that it depends on what terrain you ride. If you are an aggressive rider and attack the technical downhills, then the longer Strives give you great stability. I've been on some big climbing days and regardless of the bike, "enjoyable" is only a word I'd use at the top! Check out my channel for examples of the sort of terrain the Strive thrives in.

    1,5 l of water is not nearly enough for a day trip. When I do multi day tours like >300km, I'll start each daay with my hydration system filled with 3l and 0,5 in my bottle. I'll most likely end up filling my bottle once more towards the end of the day. Considering a grown man of roughly 80kg should drink somewhere about 2l a day in normal conditions, 3-4l aren't that absurd with heavy physical activity.
