Hey man great video, I had 3 issues with the install, The backup camera was not giving any feed, i got a CAN error no can message detected, and I couldnt find the antenna cable coming from the vehicle to connect to the radio.
I got the Maestro RR with the ken2 wiring harness and the radio T harness Rr Hk2. This is for a Kia optima.

On this stereo yes. Some headunits have wireless CarPlay. But you can use Bluetooth on this stereo to play music. But if you want CarPlay you need to plug your phone up to usb

bluetooth will let you use the stereo phone features, but plugging it in will let you use carplay from apple

Super late, but yes, there's an attachable unit that goes to your steering wheel.

Kenwood has an app. You might also have to go into settings & switch from android auto to mirroring
