this is certainly a very very strong indication as to why i enjoy the audio only vids i do mostly as i do not get distracted by the videos as well some vies are awesome but some like this one changes the narrative of the song, i will do better :)
Hi Rob, You've got wrong video for the song. It's misunderstanding about song meaning. The song does not telling a story about war between two nations or armies, it's a song about fight between two lovers. He loves her, but they had a fight...and he tells "...whose gonna give a hand to another one..." For her and him, their fight is like a war game... That's real message of the song, not actually war...." when we take down bridges..." it means emotional bridges...and so on. The band Kerber have never written about real war in their songs, their songs are about youth, love, life...I'm their fan over 37 years, from 1987 till today. As far as I know, there's no official video for the song (1985 year). There's is a few videos on TH-cam made by member's personal feeling about the song. Greetings from Serbia
Kerber is band from Niš, third town in Serbia by population. Goran Šepa is one of greatest vocal in serbian rock of all times. My recommendation about Kerber - Nebo je malo za sve. Reminder for Bjesovi - Kisa or Bjesovi - Cak i da mogu.
You should know, that song doesnt have anything to do with war. War games in the song are btw man and a women in love after fight. Who will first talk to who, and so on...
I just love that reaction man, you're the best, pal. My suggestion is that you should do the following reactions from Kerber. And those are: Kerber - Čovek Od Meda (Man Made Of Honey); Kerber - Mama Tata (Mom, Dad) Kerber - Hajde Da Se Volimo. Happy New Year dear friend, and happy New Year to all of you dear people. Also Merry Christmas to you, and to also Merry Christmas to orthodox. Moji dragi prijatelji: Mir Božiji.Hristos se rodi. Long live Yugoslavian Rock 'n' Roll 🎸🎹🪕🎺🪗🎷🥁🪘🎤🎧📻🖥💻💙🤍❤🤓😎.
It is a pity that because of the images from the video, the focus from music shifted to the war and the breakup of Yugoslavia. This song was released in 1985 a few years before the breakup of the country. You should have listened to this song without this video. The song is about the emotional war of a loving couple. Don't make the mistake of trying to figure out what happened, each side in the conflict has its own story and its own angle. In short, the great powers created Yugoslavia, and when they no longer needed it, they helped tear it to shreds. The debt of Yugoslavia on the eve of the breakup was 15 billion, already in 2015 the sum of debts of all Former Yugoslav republics was 145 billion, today it is already higher. This information speaks to the essence of the breakup of Yugoslavia. You don't have to deal with politics, music should bring people together.
Robk, every weapon, every plane, every tank, every military vehicle you see on the video was made in Yugoslavia, in Yugoslav factory. Obviously not many weapon sellers in the West appreciated that. One of the reasons. Tito said at the time. If we stay together, nobody can break us. Because, nobody can break 6 branches from once. But if the branches are separated it is easy to break each one. NOW, the main owners of the main companies in all six former Yugoslav republics are western owners. From US and EU big companies. That is one of the biggest reasons.
@mirkomarinkovic271 Ja sam gledao Orlove, Sokole. Da sigurno je I mig proleteo. Al, svo rusko oruzje, je po licenci, ili u kradji licence, pravljeno u Jugo fabrikama. Posle 1948 Normalno, migove nisu mogli.
For you is better to don't know what happened in Yugoslavia, it's to much complicated. Simply, Soviet union fell, Berlin wall fell and Yugoslavia was no need to anybody. Imagine that someone decide that Ontario, Quebec and Alberta no need to live together and all this suppose to be ended in war and massacre.
Unfortunately, brothers fought and killed each other. Peoples of the same blood, the same language, but different religions-Orthodox, Muslims, and Catholics. Religion itself is not to blame; it was merely misused. In the end America bombed a country that, in terms of culture, music, art, fashion, and talent, bore the closest resemblance to itself. There is no objective portrayal or analysis of the war in the former Yugoslavia.
this song has nothing to do with the war in the former Yugoslavia. It was written long before the war and the theme of the song is the war games of two lovers.
I really enjoy your videos and your interest in pop and rock music from the Balkans. However, when it comes to exploring the region's history, particularly the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia, I think it’s important to recognize that, as a Westerner, you might not have a complete perspective on the situation. The media bias in the West has significantly influenced the narrative and the politics in the region. Unfortunately, you can’t rely on Wikipedia or Western media for accurate information if you're seeking the truth, as they tend to be quite biased (to say the least), even after all these years.
Simply, America did not like such a state, which produced almost everything that our people talked about, from pins to locomotives. We independently produced airplanes, trains, missile systems for the army, we were even on the way to making a nuclear bomb. But that did not suit America because we were a socialist country. So it began to finance fascist right-wing organizations that fled Yugoslavia after World War II. And the Ustasha from Croatia in particular. They wanted the breakup of Yugoslavia, but the biggest problem was that a large number of Serbians lived in the territory of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. And they were being killed there, and Serbia wanted to protect its people. The same thing happened in Kosovo, after which Serbia was bombed in 1999 by NATO and without the approval of the UN Security Council, which violated international law, and part of Serbia's territory was forcibly taken away!
Robk, probably you have 10 provinces. But that is the nice part of the story. According to the orange man, you will become 51 state. That is the bad part. The country who had 10 provinces, becomes 51 province of the neighbor with bigger gun. Macedonian
That video is totally inappropriate for this song, who ever created this video clearly didnt understod the song, this song is about love, and getting back together after breakup.
this is certainly a very very strong indication as to why i enjoy the audio only vids i do mostly as i do not get distracted by the videos as well some vies are awesome but some like this one changes the narrative of the song, i will do better :)

True. Don't go in that direction.
What is done is done.
