- Rescue Attempt, on the three Servers that I broke when brainiac75 visited me just 14 days a go. Let's see if there is anything to do to get the HP DL380 G4, IBM x3650 M1 and Dell 2950 up and running again!

My PlayHouse is a channel where i will show, what i am working on. I have this house, it is 168 Square Meters / 1808.3ft² and it is full, of half-finished projects.
I love working with heating, insulation, Servers, computers, Datacenter, green power, alternative energy, solar, wind and more. It all costs, but I'm trying to get the most out of my money, and my time.
Nice to see if you break things, you can also repair them aswell.
Good job!
Hi
Yes all is back to good again!
Thank you for watching! :-)
I love this channel! Brainiac75 took me here after watching him destroying your servers. Just subscribed, and it's good to see that your servers are back to normal operation.
Have a nice day! 👍
HI
Welcome aboard! hope you will find a lot of helpful videos.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I never knew servers could be that easy to repair, with all of the clicky stuff. Love the video!
Hi
Thanx,, do check out more of my server videos, and welcome aboard! :)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Don't feel too bad about destroying them. It was excellent science to see which one could stand up to it better. I feel bad watching it though, cause I feel bad about destroying any computer, but it was worth it to learn.
Hi
Well making this together with Brainiac75 has been a big success for my channel, so a lot more people vill now see me make other server videos.Thank you for watching! :-)
Thats one of the reasons I saw your channel. I love messing with servers, but I'm very amateur about it. I do not own any actual servers due to lack of space. But I know a lot about them, and maintaining them with Linux. I'm hoping from watching your videos I can learn more.
Hi *****
I am sure you will learn something,, maybe how you do not want to do it! but you still learned :-)
Do watch my older videos, there is a lot of good info in there.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I'm here from Big Clives channel to see where the fan he disected was from
Hi ClarkeZor
Thank You very much! glad/hope you like the videos :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
can we please have an autopsy video on these components to see if there's a particular type of damage due to these magnets
HI
I'll have that in mind.
Thank you for watching! :-)
you wont see anything. They have a magnetic coating in which contains all the data. when a powerful magnetic field interferes with it. The Hard drive becomes dead. it will likley look perfect on the inside
I would still like to see if there is any physical signs such as physical contact between the read/write head and the disc, whether there is any warping or if there are any signs of what has happened. if the fans can become physically damaged then so can the motor driving the disc.
Spark Gap true. that is possible.
You should try the noise level of the Cisco 5548UP switch. Stupidly noisy....
I watched Brainic75's video and just had to come and see if you got the servers up and running. I am glad you did. His magnet is indeed a MONSTER! I enjoyed watching this and will look at some of your other videos as well now. Cheers.
HI and welcome aboard :-)
Do have a good look around, I make a lot of videos,, mostly IT/server related, but sometime I mix in other projects as well.
I post a new video every Monday, Wednesday and Friday,, at 14.00 central Europa time :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse
Thank you. I will do that. Cheers.
Dude you are amazing you have nothing to apologize for look how much you have given to everyone who is on your channel you are by far in my opinion the best you tuber on you tube when ever i see you upload i drop everything and watch it i love your videos thank you so much for teaching me the world of servers
Hi sam murphy
Thank You very much! That was an awesome comment! glad you liked the videos :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse seriously man you are like my idol im trying to build my own collection of servers only issue is I cant find the drawer attachments to allow the server to slide out of a rack for very cheap so im kinda stuck but you have really inspired me and that means the world
Hi sam murphy
Thank You very much!
Another Great Video ! Also the failed Dell server fan mad it onto EEVblog TH-cam channel for Mailbag Monday, 05 December 2016... And Dave did a teardown of the fan and showed the failed electronics. And the fan did not spin up for Dave ! Thank you for the video ! tjl
Have a small super magnet that you can test Silver with... tjl
Hi Tim Lipinski
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Nice to see so many new people here... 15K Subs here we come.... :P
Take care Buddy from New Zealand.
HI
Yes It has been a amazing week on my channel,, about 3000 new subscribers this last week. After my video with Brainiac75.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Hey, I've got a Dell 2950 with a broken motherboard. do you know where i could find a reasonably priced replacement motherboard?
Hi
Try Ebay.de or ebay.co.uk :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Wow that is so cool to se ‘em be repaired!
Also no I am not being sarcastic
Well I saw a lot of people not happy,, and I can kind of understand it,, if I was in a situation where I really wanted a server like this, but could never afford it.. it sucks to see me brake three,, so I fixed them again. :-)
Hi there!
I think the coils of the Dell's bad fans may have overheated due to overload and burnt the coil's isolations. That would be a reason for the resistance being lower and the burning smell.
Hi RandomTux
Thank You very much!
Thank you for watching! :-)
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.YOU HAVE SO MANY HARD DRIVES!I WOULD SELL MY DESKTOP TO BUY SO MANY HARD DRIVES
Hi
They are old small drives,,, I shout just get rid of them,,, 18,2 and 36GB drives are to small to day.
Thank you for watching! :-)
13:42 gosh love that fan sound
Hi d3v_ic3/superpaczkirobotboy
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse you're welcome and I came from Brainiac
I just discovered this channel from Braniac's video, and I am really interested in this server stuff!
Uhh that is a long time ago,, by now :-) Welcome,, I do not have cookies,, but lots of server videos. :-)
I love how you reply. to all of your COMMENTS keep up the good work love your vids!
Hi
Well almost all comments :-) in this video : th-cam.com/video/3-G-i-XhT64/w-d-xo.html
"Jesus Christ" asked me not to replay to his comment, so I did not :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Found your channel from Braniac's video, I love server stuff :) subscribed
HI
Welcome aboard! I do hope you will have a good look around and see if you can find some interesting videos :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
I will, thank you :D
The HP is really loud because a fan has failed, that is the non redundant fan mode,
HI
I have not seen that,, shout there not be a orange/red Led or something?
Thank you for watching! :-)
I also had a HP DL380 Gen4, they are noisy as heck until the Dell management software loads in windows (if you have bothered to install it) which throttles the fans down.
The hard drives are fffFUCKED! Lost it lol
Hi
Yep,, I do not think I want to wast time on them :-/
Thank you for watching! :-)
+My PlayHouse (Morten Hjorth) no worries mate
Good video! Came here from Braniac's channel and saw hounded lots of server stuff, (I find it interesting) so, definitely subscribing. 🙂
HI
Welcome aboard! Do check out more of my Server videos on ESXi and stuff. that is awesome.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I couldn't help but read your shirt "What could possibly go wrong?". Made me laugh. Also, a quick question. I am looking to buy some 2.5" caddys for my server and want to know if any caddy will work, or if I have to buy the specific caddy for that server. It would be a lot cheaper for me if I could buy any old caddy, and being only 16 with no real income, would be greatly beneficial.
HI
Thank You! old/used caddys can usually be bought for around 5-20$. on amazon : amzn.to/2d1E5sg or ebay or China.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I think it was the non conductive coating on the copper wiring in the fan that you were smelling if a motor gets fried/overheated/overloaded it really starts to smell do to the non conductive coating burning/melting :)
HI
Yes that is a good bet,, I ordered new/used, and I got the yesterday,, have a look at my G+
Thank you for watching! :-)
i am happy to dind someone that that does server videos i thought i will never find one it was too boring week if it wasnt for servers fixing i learn alot from you just now
HI and welcome aboard :-)

yeah iam studying IT so thats why i will watch all yor videos
thank you for the videos
Hi Evil Dude
If you go watch all, I'd really like if you give the videos a like especially the older ones :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
imagine if one of the servers had a meltdown
Hi Tree That was planted during the teamtrees event
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
I saw it from the other Chanel, I have been in to computers most of my life, I am happy to see the the dl380 survived, since that is my model server, all computers give off radiation, in the old days of computers they even said it in the computers, I am happy to see my computer server system may live on for 40 more years if it can take that kinda pounding to it, also the shielding for it to still work, I will be buying eec ram for all system in the future, thank you, please do more like this, please explain Y you might want to do this to a system, I am happy that it lives on, con you do it to the ssd's and see if they live on
Hi Planet Bob
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
I wish i could open up one of the bad drives.
Hi
I do not think they are very broken!
Thank you for watching! :-)
Where are you hdds up for sale? I'm buying 4 servers and they are 2.5 drives.
Hi BurdendMist654
Localy here in Denmark we use DBA.dk,, but shipping kills any good deal going out.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Glad to see they're up and running again.
Hi
Yes, they did happily not take any unrecoverable damages. Well the disks did, but the servers are okay.
And I got the four new fans yesterday,,fan mail :-) posted that on G+
Nice to see you around,, I am almost sure you was my subscriber No. 2 :-) You was the first real SUB,, someone I did not know :-)
Do stay around!
Thank you for watching! :-)
You might want to do some additional checks on those "broken HDDs". The magnet may have broken different parts of them. Some may have had permanant damage to the circuitry, while others may have just simply had data corruption on the platters.
The ones that make clunking noises are beyond repair, but if it is just data corruption, then the drives may still be salvagable.
If you can get an OS to recognise one of the drives, it would be interesting to see what a low-level diagnostics program reports is wrong with it.
HI
I do not need the drives :-)
If there was important data on them, I'd try more... but this was a Test :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
the platters magnetic field is gone
I might want to start my own server collection soon idk how expensive they are but ill look on newegg. I really enjoy your work i watched the magnet video and i just kept cringing when I heard the servers struggle to overcome the magnet.
HI
Check out prices on used enterprise equipment.
Maybe thei for a good start : th-cam.com/video/p2lGufUYIZw/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for watching! :-)
2:29 it sounds like you said “so we will break those” XD
Hi SuperJumpBros Mario
Thank You very much! I am sure I did not :-)

Really good video. I Iike it very much. I'm surprised that somebody is using Windows Server too. Most of other people project's are powered on Linux Servers!
Hi krasimir rangelov
Thank You very much! as soon as you go to bigger dataCenters,, the number of Microsoft servers grows.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Windows Server forever ❤
Hi krasimir rangelov
Well I am kind of getting to a point where,, I am okay with a system to use an appliances OS.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I'm surprised that Microsoft makes the server operating systems really easy to configure for comparison about Ubuntu server and Linux server at all.
just got brainiac video on my recommended 5 years later and followed to here
cool video
good to see the servers functional again
Uhh has it been 5 years,, how time flies.. :-)
@@MyPlayHouse ikr
I would like a server. I just found this channel today. I loved it and subscribed!
HI
Welcome aboard! hope you will find a lot of helpful videos.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Go cheap, and eBay is your friend.
Do you use SSDs or HDDs in your favourite high end servers?
Hi
Check out my video later today,,, you see the answer :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
I wonder if HP servers have a swich that tells the server if the cover is off...
Hi
I did not look on this DL380 G4,, it was quit noisy even with the cover on!
Thank you for watching! :-)
thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Do you have any Xserves?
I really like your videos!
HI
The Apple server?
Thank you for watching! :-)
Yes the apple server en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xserve
Hi
No I do not have any of those myself! :-/
Are they cool?
Thank you for watching! :-)
You were not able to get the spare fan(s) "to move or anything" because these don't only need 12V power input, but also rely on a speed input signal - they expect a low-to-medium-frequency (2~20kHz maybe?) Pulse Width Modulation signal, i believe. That's the third wire. And the fourth wire is an output which carries impulses representing the fan's actual physical state (i.e. current RPM) back to the system for system&fan health monitoring and controlling/regulating the ventilation.
Hi Markus Preckl
Thank You very much! good one,, :-)
That is pretty smart, so the fane has all the controlling electronic. Is just supplied with 12 volt and a frq, that telles it to go slower of faster, and it will send a signal back telling the server how fast it is going.
Thank you for watching! :-)
12:39 don't do that! I had a drive similar to what was going on. I simply rebooted and started mirroring again and it succeed
HI
This was just a test,, and the server was installed to this test. It might have fixed it self in a day or two. But I did not have that long to film. :-)
But Yes It might have been trying to fix it self.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Suggestion, send one (or more) of the good fans to brainiac75, so he can play with the magnet and the fan to find out more about how the magnet interact with the fan.
I'm interested in the ibm server.
ps I'm just a kid and i LOVE servers networking
would you ever consider selling some of your surplus servers
Hi
I do from time to time sell something,, but shipping out of the country is a killer : -( I did a post on my F.A.Q. on it.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Him changing Drive 1:
Me seeing the numbers on the case and knowing he's changing the wrong one:
It is to long ago,,, :-) I can't remember anymore.
Have you done a server tour?
HI and welcome aboard :-)
Yes I have made one : th-cam.com/video/4ErZ34n3ha0/w-d-xo.html
And I always starts a year with a house tour.
Do have a good look around, I make a lot of videos,, mostly IT/server related, but sometime I mix in other projects as well.

+My Playhouse Thanks for the quick answer and for the awsome videos!
Hi Kalle Melle Pelle
Thank you for watching! :-)
Are you going to try formatting the "Bad Drives" to see if they truly bad?
12:32 Morten says a really bad word! Amazing! lol.
HI
Nahh, If it had been a 3TB drive I might, but these,, I do not need them. And I want to move on.
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse I have a 4 terabyte drive!
I don't know if this will help but red and black is power and yellow is sense or speed control on most computers and there is one more way there wired is red high speed yellow low speed and black ground.
Hi BurdendMist654
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
this is also y it's smart to create external backups so you don't lose important stuff
HI
Yes that is not a bad choice :-)
+My PlayHouse (Morten Hjorth) y don't you see if you can get a sterling engine to run off all the heat all your servers make and sorry I didn't reply earlier i have just been going through a really sad time in my life just one of those things were everything bad that can happen has happened all around the same time :/ at least your videos help me
hmm maybe you should try and upgrade some servers to ssd storage instead of hdd in the future or are there no server grade ssd's on cheap yet i have seen some really cheap ssd storage
Hi
Well when you test three servers with a monster magnet,,you do not use you best stuff :-)
See my video later to day.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Some of us must make do at home with VMs on a single HP laptop and one old Compaq Sempron desktop! (Lots of real stuff to play with at work though!)
mdd1963 That's exactly what I do
@@laptopfm Got a decent desktop with 32 GB of RAM about 3 years ago ...just for occasional VM use...
Can the magnet drives be re-written/re-used ?
I do not think so, they can be brought back to life,, easily..
Video idea for you server networking for a home data centre
Hi Murrey Reynders
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
that dell is as loud as a C-5 taking off...
Hi Geo Curtis
Thank You very much! It could be close :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Truly amazing that you were able to get them all running again. That just goes to show how well designed and durable they made those servers...
Is it worth trying to make a server run again? I got a HP DL380 g5 with one Xeon and I mis the VRM and Heatsink for it. (thinking about buying another xeon and 2 heatsinks and 2 VRM to make it run)
it will cost me money and electricity isnt free for me, but running a server for example only weekends, can it be fun or should I realy stay with just desktops?
If your realy want to know, read on. Else thanks for reading. I like this video and you earned a sub and Like :P
I want maybe vmware or some Linux distro on it and run (dont judge) minecraftserver (big world, 10 people. My raspberry could not handle it) and a webserver. and maybe some network storage. (also some other project, wich I start my own yt videoseries for maybe)
HI
A lot of people did not like to see me brake them,, so to make it good again i fixed them,,it was cheap to make people happy again.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I can imagine. I got mine for free, but not all parts come cheap.
Do you always buy the original parts or do you sometimes hack a fan or cooling block together for cheaper fixes?
Hi *****
Cheapest, used I could find.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Actually found the magnet vs server video SUPER interesting. Don't apologize for science. :) Keep up the good work and maybe break some more stuff one day :P
Hi josh Stinsman
Thank You very much! I do understand people, who can only dream of a server like these,,, not liking to see me break them. So this video was to acknowledge that.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I was hoping you would run the magnets over all parts of the server including PSU's to see if you could get any of the transformers or inductors to saturate. That would possibly have converted the servers to unrepairable junk :-)
HI
They all have switch mode power supplies,, But Yes, how would a bit transformer do with this kind of interference. ??
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse Well switched mode transformers and inductors still use magnetism once saturated with magnetic flux they become low value resistors instead of inductors :-) I guess we'll never know what may have happened :-)
That's a question to have +Bigclivedotcom check out
if you need parts from north america let me know and ill re route the items
Thank you :-)
There you go! They are up and running! They are good girls, threat them well, for the love of servers!
I
Thank you for watching! :-)
Why do the drives have this random size of 72,8 GB? Can't you just put in like 4 x 1 TB WD red? Or how is it? :)
Hi
The SCSI driver usually dobbled in size 2,1GB 4,3 9,1 18,2 36,4 72,4GB.
I could put in 4* 1TB in the IBM,, I know that one can do it.
Thank you for watching! :-)
awesome
Get out of here, stalker. Go back to cheeki breeki
if a cant see western content? blyat
I owned a Dell server for personal use, one day i wrongly pulled out the power and the server cant boot up again, how can i fix it
Hi
A few years a go i had 4 IBM x3650 M1 and two DELL 2950´s running. lightning near by, and powerlose! IBM's needed a reboot! both Dell's dead,,all there four PSU was dead.
NEW power supplies helped me! :-/
Thank you for watching! :-)
erm.. i dont think its PSU problems , since i can still start up that server , the light is on but the screen is black , no BIOS etc...
Hi Memo Water
No then that is probably okay!
Thank you for watching! :-)
my server is old school intel CS24-SC ,i checked up inside the server , when the server starting, theres 8 LED lights on the board , the 1,2,4 one was red , 7 is the only green
and theres a LED at the other place of the board, keep sparkling the green light
please send the broken fans to a tech savvy youtuber so they can tell us why they failed. would be awesome :D
Hi
Who would you suggest?
Thank you for watching! :-)
I'd suggest BigCliveDotCom or EEVBlog
Hi Dylan Collins
You think they would take a look at it!
Thank you for watching! :-)
yeah, I'd say Clive would, he's experienced in a lot of electronics and testing them down, he takes a lot of broken stuff that viewers send him and he works out how the broke, why they broke and exactly what broke inside
yeah either bigclivedotcom or eevblog. i think bigclive is closer to you though :D
You should have labelled the bad drives ep 414 (ish I can not remember the ep number)
HI
Why shout I do that? :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
So u can remember why they are bad by seeing the title
Hi
That was why I wrote "Magnet" on them :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Hi I have a HP ProLiant dl380 G3 but I don't have any Disk for the Server. Can you say me where can I still get such disks?
Hi Fabian Mainz
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)

hola. ty for another video!
p.s. where did you sell some hdd's? i may buy some from you ^^
HI
Shipping out of Denmark is so f*** expensive that it's hardly worth it :-/

Cool repairs 👍
Hi Paul Potter
Thank You very much! a lot of people did not like seeing then being tortured,, so I tried to make it good again.
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse Thanks for the reply. I can't believe how many servers you have. What do you use them for?
HI Paul Potter
I have that info in my F.A.Q. under the "about" tab.
Thank you for watching! :-)
What you biggest 2.5" drive?
HI
Uhh my biggest 2.5" is just around 14cm, it has a long caddy,,,, :-) Kidding

HI
I do now have anything for sale right now :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse No problem, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I have a question. Do you have an ebay store where i can buy the old servers ?
HI
No I do not,,, shipping is to expensive out of Denmark,, check out my F.A.Q. under the about tab.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I come from germany. Denmark is one part of the EU. But i see the shipping is very expensive. It cost about 25€
HI Noname2014
Yes we are also part of the EU :-)
It is more like 41$ to send a server just to Germany,, it's cheaper to send it the other way,,a bit weird, but Denmark is more expensive then Germany :-/
Thank you for watching! :-)
How much is a Euro in $$$?
+jason Mayne Are you lazy?
this makes me want to get my server up and running. i have an IBM x345. the granddad of the x3650!!
HI
The x345 is same generation as this HP DL380 G4,,, it is just one generation to old to be any fun. :-/
Thank you for watching! :-)
My PlayHouse yeah its pretty old. its still useable though. just a real pain to get an OS onto it. i might get a newer dell sometime
I have a dell poweredge 2850 I think I haven't put an operating system on it but I can't find a good os can someone help me with that?
+1 The cat's playhouse :-)
Hi
I did not get that one?
Thank you for watching! :-)
You are playing with the servers as a cat with a mouse! Hope you wait a little bit with the neck bite :-)
Hi Carsten Hansen
I am not going to brake anything more for a bit :-) I do not like that much. :-/
Thank you for watching! :-)
Strange to see these fans really had died. - Often you are able to block them, and they will start up as soon as the blockade is removed. (That's why you use brushless motors)
Most likely the driver chip gave up, since they are wired like greater 3phase motors, just with additional PWM speed control, which varies the frequency of the rotary field.
Maybe the 2 Amps did their job on a blocking situation like this.
HI
It is still quite a mystery :-?
Thank you for watching! :-)
im pretty sure this man is Mikael Åkerfeldt from a parallel universe
Well I for sure have way less, female fans :-/
@@MyPlayHouse who needs female fans when you have server fans??
an idea for you. if you want to have some weak neodymiums you could tear those broken HDDs apart and take the magnets out. or send them to brainiac and let him have the magnets
Hi
Thanx,, I did that in this video : th-cam.com/video/GJcPfLBdgdY/w-d-xo.html
Have you tried that,,? that really gives you an idea of just how powerful the big one is!
Thank you for watching! :-)
i have actually. i have done it on an old pc HDD, and a ps3's 40gb HDD. the ps3 ones are so small they have just 1, but the computer drives have 2. i have a 2nd ps3 drive i could rip a 4th one out of but haven't. (my dad had 2 that broke.)
Hi ps3 wolvrine14
These more expensive drives, had good magnets!
Thank you for watching! :-)
How good a magnet? Have you compared them to a normal HDD magnet?
Hi ps3 wolvrine14
I have not checked what quality they are. just that they ware bigger then some of the cheaper drives.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Good video and matching shirt :)
Hi
Yes It is a nice slogan :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
I hate how slow dell bios is
Hi TheEeveeLovers
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
what is a server? How powerful is it? is it so powerful that you can play minecraft on it without getting lag?
Probably not, servers aren't made for games of any sort.
From my understanding of Minecraft's problems, they're NOT hardware based but software based. Meaning you can throw all the ram and cpu power you want at it and it wont make it better, it might even make the problems worse with how Java handles memory and such. But i'm no programmer and that could be very out of date for all I know.

Nicccceeeee!!!!!!! There Alive, new server video idea fan hack mod to shut the hp and dell up.... Not sure how to do it but I know it can be done. Seen posts online and servers being sold on ebay with fan mods such the Dell 2950 G1/2/3 series.
HI
I do not think I want to get in to FAN modding, I'd just get a server the makes less noise! like the awesome Lenovo ones :-)

I still can't get over how many old SCSI SAN's you still have. Those must be very loud and consume loads of power. Great too all servers are O.K. after this small rescue. Just thought that maybe the Dell CPU's might have been damaged due to the fans dieing.
Hi Chris Lowe
I have sold some of them,, but I was to slow.
Thank you for watching! :-)

Hi
There was a good reason that that big magnet did not come near my datacenter :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
hahah you are right
here in uk hp used servers are dirt cheap you can buy one from as little as £25. I know I got 3 of em :)
HI
They are a bit more expensive here. £100 is my guess.
Thank you for watching! :-)
The Dell SanAce fans are usually very good manufacture, I am sure they were not supposed to be subjected to that kind of torture. For some reason I have hundreds of case fans that would normally have been scraped, most were new swaps to meet a different specification, usually for a less loud fan I think.
HI
I just got the four new Fans today! check out my G+
Thank you for watching! :-)
Dont get too worried people, these are very old servers, ones that you should be avoiding if looking to purchase a server anyway. They eat more power than they are worth.
Kind of an old video now,, but there are people in the world,, that is not in a position, where they can afford, even an oldy like these,,, and this video was mostly,, in respect to those people.
