- My last day in Holyhead, Starts with the fantastic sighting of the famous “PS Waverley” ( a 1946 steam paddle ship ) leaving Holyhead harbour, followed by a bracing visit to South Stack Lighthouse where I climb down the 400 steps to the suspension bridge and lighthouse, where you can spot some rare species of birds and seals if your lucky, such seabirds as the beautiful Puffin and the once almost extinct Chuff ( I saw both on my visit ).
Absolutely love South Stack. North Wales coldest place in the UK. Put a sweat shirt on Jimmy 🥶
Hi, how you doing ?
Yes, I really enjoyed my day at South Stack ...
I'm currently in the Scottish Highlands ( NC500 ) and was at Dunnet Head ( most northern point of mainland UK, just along from John O'Groats ) pretty chilly there too, horrendous storm through the night, thought my van was going to blow off it's leveling blocks, ( video coming shortly haha )
Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment.
Cheers ... Jimmy ...
@@jamesstringer8172 Hey Jimmy,
I'm doing well, thanks for asking! It sounds like you’re having quite the adventure! The Scottish Highlands and the NC500 must be incredible to explore. Dunnet Head, wow, I can imagine how chilly it must have been up there, especially with that storm! Glad your van survived the night-looking forward to seeing the video of it all.
Safe travels and keep sharing the great content!
Cheers,
Jon
@@AdrenalinePitStop Many thanks Jon, much appreciated , take care ...
410 in fact' I used to climb them every week for two years!
Hiya "@MrMesospheric" how you doing ?
Haha, I bow to your experience mate, it felt like 410 to me if I'm honest, It must have kept you really fit haha. It was my 1st time on Holy Island but it's a great place and I'll defiantly be back in the future, your very lucky to live in this part of the UK.
Thanks for watching my video and taking time out to comment, I'm always interested to hear from viewers.

After I left Holyhead I did go round Anglesey a bit, I went to Cemaes, Benllech ( Inc Red dwarf Bay haha ) and Beaumaris, the video's for those places are still to come ( awaiting editing ) so you might enjoy them too.

@@jamesstringer8172 illkeep my eyes peeled for the next videos 👍
Good man haha ... I haven't had a lot of time to edit them yet, as I've been rectifying an annoying creaky knocking on the van, I had to replace the complete rear suspension in the end which is also on TH-cam ( plug plug haha ) and I've also been away to Scotland again BUT I will get round to it ...
Cheers ... Jimmy ...
