I have been playing this song all day. It’s hard to believe we have lost this greatly talented singer/songwriter. Thank you for the great music, Bruce!
So so sad to hear of the passing of Bruce Guthro. I only discovered him a couple of years ago with Runrig. I was blown away with his voice and bought his DVD and his records. He seemed such a lovely guy too. The Runrig guys all loved him as well as the fans. R.I.P. xx
Have you heard the version on the "Live at the Celtic Connections 2000" album? Just Bruce, Malcolm and the audience. It'll have you weeping into your Irn Bru!! Beautiful. He really made it his own that night.
💔No singer or band ever touched my heart like Bruce Guthro and Runrig did. The world has lost a wonderful voice and a wonderful man much too early. RIP 😭
Bruce has gone home, somewhere his heart will once again be young. Memories of him will never grown old. These are such powerful lyrics, sung by a man with a powerful, enchanting voice. RIP, you are missed. Sending love to his wife; and his daughter and son, those two apples didn't fall far from the tree.
This man, what a talent. Being a Canadian I was always a fan of Bruce Guthro. What a voice, so clear, so perfect. Thank you Scotland for accepting this beautiful soul into your hearts. We miss you Bruce. Rip ♥❤
