I have one of these Oil Filled Radiators and it works very well. Mine is Northman brand. The only concern I have is that the power cord gets hot after a while.

Do you know the wattage on the lowest setting on these? I have one from Lowes and want to briefly use it on the lowest setting and use my 1000 watt solar battery if possible. Thanks

Pelonis is constantly out of stock! I was surprised Costway was #2... they're okay, but not great. The Delonghi I think should be #1 here.

The unit heats up fast and is super quiet. It looks fancy th-cam.com/users/postUgkxl8Od2BvnGbn1ffwqsuFXW0QnmcZgMiVY and can be kept in the living room. It gets hot within a split second of turning on the unit. The build quality is exceptionally good and is safe to be around kids and pets. This one is super quiet and can be kept on while in office meetings, my wife loved it. It shows the temperature right on the unit which is very useful and adding a rotating feature helps to heat up the surrounding, so other people will not fight with you for heat. It is right as described in the description..!! Definitely recommend!!

Honeywell sucks. I have bought a heater and an air purifier made by Honeywell. Nether one worked as advertised, the oil heater didn't last 2 years and my electric was way to high even when used on low for only a couple hours per day and only a few times a week. The Honeywell air purifier was so loud it couldn't be used in the house at anytime of the day. I have had a Delonghi oil radiator for 12 years, still runs like new and using it in the winter for about 5 hours a day, 7 days a week cost 3/4 less to run than the Honeywell at half the heat setting and hourly, weekly use.

All of the bigger heaters work exactly the same just look different. Most all have 1500 watts 800 w and 700 Watts that's a norm. They all are oil-filled but the narrator pointed that out as a feature in one of them hahaha and they all have a safety tip over switch and he pointed that out too in one.

All oil filled heaters are quiet, sealed and never need refilling, energy efficient, have over heating safety cutoff switch.

I LOVE this kind of heater, but I went to push it out of the way and when it fell over it stopped working. I am so sad. I dont have the money to buy another one. These are so quiet, very nice to sleep. I will miss it.

Don't buy an electronic controlled heater The digital read outs don't last my Honeywell broke second season Try and find a high quality mechanical one like a Delonghi I have one and it's over 15 years old and still works perfect

In reality all of these with the exception of the 700 watt model probably come off the same assembly line in China. Different color, differently speced controller, different number of heating chambers. Three levels are done with two elements, A and B. Low power only A is on. Medium power only B is on. Full power A and B are both on. Not rocket science and all three level units operate the same way. Difference is controller type, none of them glow yellow as shown in the pictures. They all most likely also have an overheating protection, mine does, don't be to impressed, it's only about a less than $2.00 part, and is probably required by regulation. I have at Kenwood brand which, even thou it's over ten years old, looks pretty much the same as most of these do. Units are not filled as you would normally use the word. When moved oil can be heard sloshing around inside. During heating they will make an occasional sound of metal expanding, normal too. This style of heater is probably what I would describe as the most safe type.

I would have to agree because i have 2 pelonis oil filled heaters both look exactly like the tangkula they showed.

So heat output is about the same across the board? The only difference is the control and safety features? I really want to know cause I'm in the market for one soon.

    • @rpk5568

wattage is what determines how much heat you'll get. I'm surprised that the Kenwood
i have is more than 10 years and still working. none of these are actually filled with the oil and that determines how much of the heating fins will work at max level.

Did you just read the box specs and regurgitate the specs on each unit? These units are all friggin identical! You say one is good for bedrooms, then say another is best for bedrooms because it's quiet. They're all the same, no fan, all quiet! On another you state you need to check your electrical needs because it's 1500 watts. They ALL 1500 watts. A completely useless 'review' . Thumbs down, I wish you could be reported.
