I've had this same unit since November 2017 and couldn't be happier with it. It definitely is quick to warm a room for sure and I love with it being radiant heat, there's no noise or anything, so I am able to set mine up in the living room and watch tv without any fan noise
I just purchased this after my previous delonghi died that I bought in 2011. It gets hot way faster than my previous model. I followed the instruction of first use and there was a smell that lasted a few hours. Otherwise, so far its been great.
*Install was easy **fireplace.homes** good although I personally had some difficulty with the thermostat I had. Issue was mine though, not realizing that electric heaters couldn't use oil thermostats. Tip: If you are using an external thermostat, run the power to the thermostat, not the unit. Once that was squared away it worked great.*
Can you leave it on 24/7 ? Does it adjust depending on the preferred thermostat level? I recently rented a house (1,300sq feet) with centralized heating and I just need to heat my bedroom (unfortunately, is the coldest part of the house). I work from 8am to 6pm and not sure if I just have to turn this on when I arrive from work. Any input would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

The heater also smells like one of those mosquito candles I’m scared.

Is there a safe extension cord I can use? The power source is on the front of device so lose 12 inches when plugging from behind.
Never plug in a space heater in and extension. Must go in the wall.
