A side dish doesn't just need to be for 1 person. Pretty sure he's talking about family cooking or a barbeque kind of side dish. I remember when I had Sunday lunch at my grans maybe 16 years ago now as a kid, the side dishes she'd make were practically full meals. Then again, she was cooking for a whole family, not just a few people. I've probably misinterpreted what you meant, but still feel like it's worth pointing out in a world now filled with convenience. :P
For deep fry batter, use 7Up or Sprite. For grilling marinade or glaze with soy sauce as a base, use cola. Coke or Pepsi or whatever - up to you. Heck, use Dr Pepper Cherry for grilled pork belly.
it would be pretty hard for them to exist without doing something like that. Like to have the options to scroll online therapists and choose one like its a dating app, then after one meeting say, nah,, not for me and flick to the next one, all while only paying a subscription fee.. They need to pay all these consultants, and if there was a pattern of people just having one consultation then flicking to the next and the next over and over (because one is rare for the therapist to break any real ground) it would become frustrating and many professionals would likely leave the program. Which makes me think.. Are these professionals reputable, or more just starting out in the field? As for health data, if it's anonymous, it's just data. my father placed a coke can, opened, into the cavity of a chicken (upright, so not to spill out) in his smoker bbq, the coke I guess boiled and steamed into the cavity, giving it some flavour. it was not sweet, but gave a different flavour. Guga, you need to mention when using tallow it changes the cook times! You can brown carbs in almost 40% less time with tallow vs with vegetable oil in my experience, seriously i was able to reduce my tater tot cook time from 5 minutes to 3 min 30s, and potstickers went from 5 to 3m flat, coming out more golden crispy in 3m than they used to in 5. I did chicken and it was a big difference as well, to the point I recommend mixing in some peanut oil to increase the cook time slightly (and it's cheaper lol), since the breading finishes before the chicken meat is cooked through on the bigger pieces when I use straight tallow. Maybe it's just that the pieces I was using were huge, but yea that's what happened the last time I used your recipe for crispy fried chicken.
Guga, love it thank you and the team. My Dad makes the best ham at Christmas, he soaks it in coke overnight, then after rinsing, he cooks it in Dry Ginger Ale, it for me is the best!! ❤❤🙏🙏 PP: I am from England/Cyprus
Roasting and frying chicken is easy in our house. I like white meat and my wife prefers dark meat so the whole bird gets used. I can see the coke batter being made viable if more spice is added to the batter mix to go for a sweet and spicy fried chicken. Some gojugaru or hot paprika to offset the sweetness of the coke.
I have to call out one thing. Using just any beer because it "doesn't matter" is not true. Different styles of beer will give it a different flavor. Sure, if you're using a regular Lager, you can use any brand and it won't matter. But there is 100% a difference if you switch from a Lager to a Stout, Belgian, High Hop, or any _different_ style of beer.

Guga all your actual supporters are here for you
I didn't knew i could get drunk just by eating fried chicken it contain beer 😂 lol
Beer?! lol no club soda!
I love that they just left the white meat to Guga, he committed the sin of bringing it to the table, so he gets to eat it.
Guga’s side dish is just a kicked up version of Minnesota’s official state dinner: Tater Tot Hotdish.

Guga, love it thank you and the team. My Dad makes the best ham at Christmas, he soaks it in coke overnight, then after rinsing, he cooks it in Dry Ginger Ale, it for me is the best!! ❤❤🙏🙏 PP: I am from England/Cyprus
My friend's mother used to cook her chicken with Coca Cola in Indonesia, she passed away already though. Her Coca Cola chicken was amazing!
Love Guga throwing shade at people that think the can think it and be it. Let’s all live in reality.
Guga made tator tot hot dish or casserole depending on whether you from IA, NE, WI, MN it’s a meal staple in the north back in the day
Roasting and frying chicken is easy in our house. I like white meat and my wife prefers dark meat so the whole bird gets used. I can see the coke batter being made viable if more spice is added to the batter mix to go for a sweet and spicy fried chicken. Some gojugaru or hot paprika to offset the sweetness of the coke.
This is inception level clickbait and i love it! Guga and his team puts alot of thought into their work.
Beer isn't bad for some things but as a Southerner, buttermilk is the best choice for chicken.
Bro I love your accent
I have to call out one thing. Using just any beer because it "doesn't matter" is not true. Different styles of beer will give it a different flavor. Sure, if you're using a regular Lager, you can use any brand and it won't matter. But there is 100% a difference if you switch from a Lager to a Stout, Belgian, High Hop, or any _different_ style of beer.
Use the nastiest, cheapest light colored beer like old Milwaukee or MGD etc... you're welcome.
alcohol is all worthless garbage, TV has fooled you
