I've been using the upside down log cabin lately. Going to Calico Ghost Town campground next week based on a video of yours. And Nutella is awesome, especially on smores.

Tried out my diesel heater at Cathedral Gorge and it worked great. The only issue I have is the flexible vent hose like the one you have puts out a nasty off-gassing. Smell like melting rubber. I tested the heater in my garage for 6 hours hoping to maybe burn off some of that smell but no such luck. I took along an aluminum 3" vent hose from Home Depot and had to replace the flex one the next day because it was just too much odor. The aluminum one worked perfectly. No odor whatsoever. Only issue with that is packing it back down. probably will last only a few times then may tear hear and there but it's worth the extra money to replace it every few trips due to the odor. Wondering if you are having the same problem or if there is a different brand that does not off gas.
Yes I’m actually buying a replacement hose, I’ve been using my original replacement it doesn’t give off too bad of a smell so I’ve been living with it for now. As soon as I find a good replacement I will let you know!

Looks like fun. Only thing about those campgrounds I don't like is being so close to the other campers with no trees/bushes in between. Can't wait for the next one!

Have you ever had any complaints at night from the sound of your diesel heater?
I have not, its a pretty low tick and if I have a fan running within the tent its not bad
Beef Machado is one of my fav comfort foods! I don't add any stock so it's a bit thicker but I'm not mad at a little more soup style like Sinigang. We also prefer the log cabin style. Question on the diesel heater does the exhaust smell get annoying at all to the dog?
So good! I didn’t mind the extra broth either on a cold night lol i dig the log cabin for some serious heat output 👌🏽 last time we ran the heater with the dog she didn’t seem to care about it lol she was sleeping right next to the heater hose coming into the tent
