    A number of years ago, our local weather reports were forecasting a big snow storm to hit northeast Iowa. They were calling for this big event nearly 2 weeks out in front of it, and they weren't backing away from it. A day or so before the big event, one local weather guesser was predicting that the storm was likely to miss our area entirely. He said that at most we might see an inch or so. We got 15. He never lived that down. Good job again Luc. Thanks for sharing.

    This video showed up and again I enjoyed watching it again as I did 9 months ago. I ordered my tractor with the same tires as you have and they delivered it with the turf tires. The sales guy said he was out of the AG tires but would call me when they came in. I have them now and like them much better and he gave me a free cutting bar for my FEL for the inconvenience. I talked about a rear blade but have decided to put a deluxe hard cab with Heat and AC instead. I'm pushing 70 and the wife said why be cold if you don't have to. My drive is gravel so I use the FEL with Edge Tamers and they do a fantastic job. Hoping for a good amount of snow up here in Northern Michigan

      @@OrangeismyNewGreen It's a "snowpocalypse" if we get more than 6 inches of accumulation. Normal to get 2-3" once or twice per winter. We seem to be getting ice or sleet storms more often than we used to. I'll take 10" of snow, but I hate the 1/2" ice storms we sometimes get.

    Wow, we miss that one here! We got 3-4 inches... of wet snow. I would have prefered the thicker dry snow. That is amazing how much snow you can remove with the back blade once you have cleared with the snowblower. I am afraid I will get a very slushy driveway this spring. It hasn't melt much up to now and the packed snow is just accumulating. I've got a good 4 inches of packed snow. Good for one thing, it does not provide a good base for freezing ice. Thanks Luc!

      J'oubliais! Quand je demeurais dans la montagne, on avait des bonnes accumulations de neige, un peu comme chez vous. Les bancs de neige étaient vraiment hauts. Pour éviter que mon entrée soit bloquée par un banc de neige très haut, je déneigeais un bon 50 pieds avant mon entrée. Soit avec mon souffleur ou bien la pelle. Le but était de faire une éclaircie où la déneigeuse vidait sa pelle avant mon entrée. De cette façon, mon entrée n'était jamais bloquée. Question de sécurité... ou bien parce que j'étais trop paresseux pour déneiger le matin avant de partir travailler! Lol! À plus!

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      À retenir pour l’hiver prochain 👍🏻. Les années passées la charrue passait toujours l’autre côté de la rue en premier donc mon banc de neige était toujours plus petit mais maintenant c’est qui a le gros banc de neige...and I like it 😂👍🏻. Salut Joe 👍🏻

    Pretty common problem with those Kubotas. My buddy has a 2380 that he bought new. That quick connector has leaked since day one. I just happened to be there once while the service guy was there and asked him when he planned on moving in cause he was there so much. He didn’t find that as funny as I did. All you need to complete your kit is the Curtis cab with heater.
    This is great comfort, especially on windy days.
    For my part, what I miss is the rear blade.
    However, I have a gravel road, so I'm not sure if it would perform as well.
    Does the rear blade float, or can you put downward pressure on it?

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Claude, I have skid shoes for the rear blade, I usually keep them on until I have a good base but this year with the snow then rain it kinda complicated things so I had to remove them for my first use this year. You’ll see in my next video. As for downward pressure you are limited with the 3 point hitch but I manage 👍🏻. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🙂 Oh and a Curtis cab is on my wish list with Santa 😉😂

    Awesome video and I just love moving and plowing snow. I was happy last Wednesday when we received about 9 or 10 inches and if it wasn't for the fact that it was wet heavy snow it would of been deeper and easier to move. I believe that opening shot could of been used for for of the mushy old Hallmark movies my wife loves to watch. I only have the little BX 1880 (Brand New) and would sure like to try that rear blade. I picked up a 2380 over summer and got that same landpride blade, i was so happy with it when 6-10” fell, then another 15” fell and had to plow in reverse, it got job done, but when you got 3’ of snow lining driveway I had to use bucket to move snow back or the blade just pushed my ass end sideways. Definitely need to invest in a front mounted blade. Do you have asphalt drive? Wondering how that blower would work on gravel?

      Congrats on the 2380 👍🏻. 3’ now that’s a huge snowfall 😳. Why doesn’t the Kabota go down to the pavement why is it that there’s so much snow in the driveway leftover

      My skid shoes aren’t at the lowest setting because I have a gravel driveway, I like leaving a good base. Thanks for watching and have a great week 🙂🙋🏼‍♂️👍🏻

    I do not understand why you only go in one direction when you can cut your time down by turning at the end of the driveway and going the other way.

      There’s a technique to my madness 😉😂, I like blowing the snow in the same area near the ditch 🤷🏼‍♂️. Thanks for watching and have a great week 🙂🙋🏼‍♂️👍🏻

    Does not throw snow far enough. Should be at least 50' which this is way short of. Also this Kubota is leaving over 1" of snow layer which freezes into ice.
