sail away Hi, Internet Stranger Sail Away, I am not claiming to speak for God but I will give this question a stab if you’d like. Is it a genuine question? I will assume so. To the best of my understanding, God permits sickness (viruses, bacteria). This likely goes back to the time that Adam and Eve’s disobeyed Him and He cursed the earth. I think that viruses came along with this curse. It seems that He doesn’t prevent us from facing the consequences of our (and others’) sins. On the other hand, God has been known historically to send sickness as punishment but He’s always been pretty obvious about announcing that was the purpose and what sins He was punishing. That certainly doesn’t seem to be the case here, but maybe I am wrong. I can think of some sins we are committing that greatly anger God, like murder for example. As a person who has battled pneumonia three times, I am very empathetic for those who have it. Not being able to breath is horrible. And I can’t imagine dying from pneumonia. However, God does override this punishment for Adam and Eve’s sin sometimes and heals people, but not always. Historically, it seems that He is willing to do that based on some conditions but sometimes He doesn’t for other reasons. Basically, I understand that we in this generation are suffering for Adam and Eve’s sin of disobedience, though I cannot blame them entirely because I have certainly not always managed to obey God completely nor discern when I am being deceived by Satan. Maybe this sounds like a fairy tale or a psychotic person’s illusions but that’s my attempt to answer your question and I hope you will see that I consider it a very valid question. I don’t know what you believe about the Bible of course because I don’t know you but I have come to believe that what is written in the Bible to be truth. Maybe you haven’t read much of it or are trusting others to tell you what it says. If so, you might consider reading the New Testament and see if you don’t see something there (hopefully the love of a good and kind Father) you’ve missed before or never seen. And I hope you will see that ultimately He sacrificed Himself to pay the penalty for sin and to end sickness and death for good.

My question is why did the stay at home orders not come down as a recommendation from the National level in consultation with state governors, who should have been requested to implement, when travel restrictions on China were put in effect on Jan. 31? We lost an entire month in preventing the spread.

I go out only once a week now for replenishment of food and that for like 30 minutes. Compared to before believe me it’s a huge change for my safety and everyone else.

Schedules are given to every community in the city and there is a window hour for when people can go out. One person per household is allowed to go out to avoid flocking of people in town. Social distancing is strictly advised and being at best to observe when doing errands in town to minimize direct contact with people who might be carriers of the virus. Community leaders did an immediate census about the numbers of senior citizens, persons with a disability, pregnant and lactating women, and single parents. They are given priorities in receiving assistance from the community leaders. Car owners are given travel pass to monitor who goes out and comes inside the said community. This helps In contact tracing of people in case someone gets diagnosed with COVID-19. Groceries, pharmacies, therapy centers, food shops, and banks are the only ones operating in the city. Food shops are not even allowed to have dine-in services. This is to avoid a lot of people crowding inside the food establishments. All operating establishments follow social distancing and daily sanitizing and disinfecting. Tourism activities stopped to avoid huge crowds as well. Curfew hours are given to minimize gallivanting people. The news about the outbreak has been out since December 2019 and since it was stated that it is highly infectious, there was more than a month of preparation that was supposed to be done by many countries. Instead, even government officials of many countries took it lightly as if it doesn't reach any places despite people traveling to the red zone areas. To add, many people do not use common sense. A lot of them still travel and hold parties or huge gatherings. Take Italy as an example. The people ignored the plea of the government to stay at home. People traveled left and right. Out of fear, some people from the red zone areas went to other places in Italy with the hope to escape the spread of the virus. Little did they know, they were already carriers and had infected other people.

In the beginning of this disaster he looked phenomenal and still had his voice. Within weeks this amazing man is aging like a “president” does. Apex Walker well seeing what you do, I do suggest looking into the parallels between what’s been happening and bible prophecy. Keep an open mind as you do. A big one is that it foretells all of what has been happening. From the severe weather, to the locusts, to mass groups of animals dying, as well as mass pandemics. Birth pains is how it’s described. But, I’ll stop there. Rather you choose to look deeper is up to you. However, just know that it’s Jesus Christ that, as you do look into it, should be your focal point. Anyway, at least you do see part of what’s really going on.
