Thanks for the review. I was considering this over the Vortex Viper HS-T due to cost, for my 6.5 Grendel. But after hearing how you kept breaking them, I'll spend the extra cash in the Vortex. Much appreciated.
+Jason Schmatt yes for sure don't cheap out because as I know now optics is one area you don't skimp on. Do it once and enjoy. Cheap out and pay 3 times as much
Alik Dino it will but I will most likely use it on my 22lr the 300wm seems to kill scopes. lifetime warranty is good as well so if it does fail you will get a new one gree
If you're going to get a scope and you have around 500-700 it would be better spent on a good name brand optic such as Vortex or bushnell or even millett. The durability is not up to par and feels light and cheap. My has its home on the 300 win mag and have broke 3 Hawke scopes on it so far. If I could start over I would save up and get a top tier optic and use it on all my rifles
So your rifle breaks 3 Hawke scopes and you're still buying them? Why not just return it since it has lifetime warranty and add $200 just like you said, and get a good brand name optic?
cw300mag nope broke 3 then gave up. Now i have a vortex viper pst and all is well.

And how much recoil proof this little scope? The manufacturer says ''all kaliber''. But I know the Hawke as an air rifle scope Company and I am really sceptic about use them on center fire rifles in general. It was pretty attractive to me as a cheap scope with big zoom power to my .308 Win I am just not sure about this. What is your experience?
Sándor Gróf Air rifle rated scopes are made to withstand the heavy reverse recoil of most magnum Springer's. Basically you can take the most expensive top brand powder burn scope and put it on a magnum Springer air rifle and it will destroy it LOL. You can be confident and buying an air rifle rated scope and throwing it on any powder burner! Almost any powder burner
We buy these in England too would be nice to see a British review. Don't really care about what they do in the USA. So Deben lets us see a TH-cam from you
here is a first impression of my new scope for the budget long range Remington 770.

plan on getting 10x50x60 Hawke for my ruger precision 308 maybe later on 6.5 creedmore.later
Hawke Sidewinder 30mm 8-32x56 will sustain return of caliber 308?

Break barrel spring airguns will easily break the most expensive scope out there and Hawke scopes are built to handle break barrel airguns.
+1manpwr they didn't last long on my 300 win mag
how is your thoughts on this scope after shooting with it. for a while
